Cool, little place. Not much seating available. The pie was decent, but nothing to write home about. It did have a nice undercarriage. Very crispy on the outside pieces, but floppy in the middle. In addition, I had the side salad & sweet tea. Both were good. Service was okay, not great, but not terrible. Overall, I'd recommend giving it a shot. I would rate it somewhere higher than a 3 if Yelp would allow that, but definitely lower than a 4. read more

Just finished hiking in Chimney National Park and wanted to explore the town. We parked in the tourist parking only lot at the end of town. Started walking and this was the first place we stopped. Inside the Broad River Inn it looks like what would have been the dining room of an old mansion. Very clean and open. Friendly staff greet and offer you a menu. We ordered the pretzel...highly recommend it was delicious. Shared the Brisket Calzone, it is huge and for lunch easily shareable. Very tasty. Definitely check this place out if you are in Chimney Rock. read more

Great pizza, great location, and great hosts! We came for the mini golf, and stayed for the food! The guy behind the bar was very helpful, knowledgable about what they carried re: drinks and knew the answers to the questions about their pizzas. My dad and I tried Meatlovers, and my fiance got their Hawaiian. The pizza came out relatively fast, and we all enjoyed them. Fiance was able to finish his, but my dad and I ended up with a couple slices of leftovers. The river behind them and the golf course provides a lovely atmosphere. I'm now trying to get Dad to bring Mom out here here their anniversary- we'll see how that goes. Would definitely come again! read more

Stopped here during our visit to Lake Lure in winter. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The pizza and flatbread were very tasty. The food took a little long to come out but everything was just as we ordered and fresh so it wasn't a big deal. I'd recommend this pizza if you're in the town. It's a small place inside a B&B but it was easy to find parking nearby and our large group was seated pretty quickly. read more

My wife and I went early on a day when rain was expected. Not many people out and about, so we were able to pick our seating. Our side salads were very good, and the pizzas were very good as well, I had a supreme, my wife ordered ham and pineapple. The individual pizzas were large enough to take half home for a meal later during the weekend. The draft IPA was fresh and very good. Our waitress, Dee, was very pleasant as well. Oh, while I do not believe they have a high temperature wood oven, the pizza crust was as good as you can find in the county, possibly hand made (I will ask the next time). We will definitely return to this older charm and clean kitchen. read more

We were looking for a cozy place to have a late lunch with a large crew (7) and found Stagecoach Saloon! What a great place. We came in winter so not as busy as in peak season, but the owners were so welcoming and accommodating to our needs. First recommendation, get the pizza! It's very very good. My daughter had the apple country melt and found it very good as well. In all we had a great experience and will be back soon. read more

One of the few restaurants in town that is open after 5. Service was horrible, very few patrons, several waitresses, we still had to wait about 20 minutes before we got service. Ok, being born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina, I was very interested to find out what a "mountain pizza" was all about. Well, I guess it is a 1/2 a pizza at regular price of a whole pizza anywhere else. Imagine my surprise when the Bartender handed me 1 box for 2 pizzas. We got the Fig, Pig, and Goat and the Meat Lovers (pepperoni, sausage, and Bacon). I questioned why they were serving 1/2 a pizza, and calling it a whole one. She tried to explain it away by telling me "mountain style pizza" was like flatbread pizza. It's not. It's more like a whole pizza cut in half before it was cooked, and toppings put on each side. Then they slice it funky just for a twist. This was a "to go" order, and I get it, it's a Seasonal tourist town so I know prices are high. But if I had been coming there with the intention of buying enough pizza for several people, instead of just two, I would be extremely upset, and have to wait on them to cook more food for my party. I can't imagine how many people leave there upset. The pizza was pretty good, but certainly not worth the $34 that we paid. Not happy with this place. Don't think I'll be back. read more

I love the Stagecoach Saloon! It's actually a restaurant, an Inn, plus an 18 hole miniature golf course. The main dining room is warm and cozy with a historic "saloon" feel, and it also also has a nice sized bar. There is also some outdoor seating for enjoying the beautiful days outside. My two FAVORITE things however, are the 18 hole mini golf course overlooking the gorgeous river PLUS their PIZZA! If you go with your family, you can work up an appetite playing a round of miniature golf with your kids and then have authentic Italian pizza! I've tried pizza all around Hendersonville and Asheville and their Marguerita pizza is the authentic yeast risen thin crust variety.... plenty of yummy basil and mozzarella. Amazing flavor. Just call first to check their days and hours as they are somewhat varied with the short staffing that we are all sadly getting used to everywhere we go. Well worth a trip to beautiful Chimney Rock Village to check this restaurant/bar/mini golf venue. read more
