I have no issue with frozen veggies if cooked well and seasoned. They fell flat on the pizza. My mom and I loved the pizza crust! They put sesame seeds on it and it gives it a really nice flavor. Decent. We ordered a bunch of pies - meat lovers, pepperoni, and a grandma. The grandma was far and away the best. Pizza dough wasn't great, sauce was excellent. For a place called Pepperoni's they sure ration their pepperoni. I wish I had a picture, but there were genuinely 15 small pieces of pepperoni for the entire pie. Meat lover's pie however was packed with toppings. There was a woman behind the counter screaming at her employees when we arrived for pick up. I've gone there many times I've never had a problem. I love the fact that it's connected to riders wings and things that you can stop in and have a beer while you wait for your pizza. I was then told that the delivery person was en route. I live 5 minutes away from the restaurant, yet 30 minutes later, it had still not arrived. I called again and after 15 minutes on the phone, was told that the order was not never processed and I would need to wait another 45 minutes if I did not want to cancel the order. I cancelled the order. 3 days later, I realized that despite not receiving the order, my credit card was charged for the full amount. Love this pizza. As the other reviewer said, this isn't typical NYC pizza, but they're not trying to be. First: get the sesame seed topping for the crust. It's unbelievable how such a simple thing makes such a big difference. Second: get the tomato/basil/fresh mozzarella pizza. They marinate the tomatoes, they give you great big portions of basil, and it ends up being the most delicious thing. Everyone who has ever had it loves it, and I now bring pizzas to-go across state lines for friends. Their buffalo chicken pizza is delicious, as are most of their specialty pizzas, and I usually only try them by the slice (not the ideal way to try any pizza). I occasionally get a black olive/garlic/onion pizza that I request myself, and they put lots of black olives and onions on top, and cook the garlic in so that it goes extremely well together. Their Eppi rolls are delicious, even if the sausage/pepperoni one may kill you. Their salads aren't the most fantastic things in the world, but they're decent enough if you don't want to eat only pizza. For my money, this is the best pizza place in the area. Within the last month or two, the size of the pizzas have decreased exponentially. Not the slices you see when you pick up, but the whole pizzas you order to go. The first time, I thought it was just a smaller pizza, maybe not stretched enough.. made by mistake. Nope. The last FOUR times we have gotten small pizzas. Last night I paid, got home, opened the box, and found a pizza that wasn't even close to touching the edges of the box. I ordered a Sicilian pie from pepperoni's a few weeks ago and it was one of the best pies I've ever had. I figured it had to be a mistake. Pizza in the Hamptons, in my experience, is generally awful. So I had to come back to pepperoni's not once but twice to make sure they are legit. In both of my follow up visits the pizza held up! I tried their regular as well during one of these trips and it was solid, but the Sicilian is EPIC. It reheats well and you can feed a house full of hungry folks with one pie. I think the secret is the generous layer of sauce and just the right amount of cheese. Surprisingly, I had a really good slice here! It seems like a random shop tucked away in an even more random, unassuming little shopping center (of sorts). They have a great variety of freshly made pizzas with all kinds of flavor combinations plus calzones, pastas, salads, and even desserts. I was pleasantly surprised and at the same time, a little pissed off at myself for not ordering more food, given all the choices. It's a casual, no-frills kind of place where you can sit down to have a bite, or get in and out quickly so you can devour your piping hot food in the privacy of your own home (or car, ahem). I like their thin, chewy crust and the sauce, cheese and pepperonis were really tasty. No complaints here. Bonus points for selling pizzas by the slice in addition to whole pies. I can confirm that this is no NYC pizza, but it is my favorite regular pizza in the hamptons and I have probably tried them all. The crust definitely is not frozen like Greg B. accused them of... but I would stick to the regular pizza as most of there specialty slices don't look like there all that. And how many booths does he need, 4? The five stars is for their shrimp parm hero---definitely as good as it gets. Ive had it many times and very consistent and delicious... garlicky and good sauce, piping hot. The shrimp are butterflied and sauteed not fried like most heros. The brick oven pie, the gourmet pie, and the slice pie (takeout, comes in a cardboard box, rules the Earth with it's mozzarella scepter.) Discovered something great tonight. We usually get a pie with onion and mushroom and the Gorgonzola salad which has a variety of greens, zucchini, and a delicious sweet red wine vinaigrette.
