Oh Dado how I miss you on Park Avenue, now I must drive all the way to Pittsford to visit you!…read more Dado Boutique is a trendy little boutique located at the intersection of Clover and Monroe avenue in PIttsford and though its no longer just steps away it still has the same charm it did when it first opened. Owner Dalida Atallah has really brought something special to Rochester with Dado. One trip to her store and you will understand her aesthetic, the girl has impeccable taste. If that's not enough the store is impossibly clean with each of the garments hung perfectly spaced apart while center tables hold accessories. A type A personality who understands the importance of presentation? Whats not to like?! Be warned: Though Dado is just minutes down the street from Marshalls and TJ Maxx, it is expensive. The store carries high end brands like Elizabeth & James and more popular brands like French Connection but don't let that scare you away, Atallah has great sales (Up to 30% off) often so its worth a visit. Perhaps some holiday money could buy you a fabulous New Years Eve dress. It's possible you've gotten a glimpse of what Dado has to offer if you've attended any of the local fashion shows. Most recently a Dado show raised over $100,000 for the Wilmot Cancer Center. A small business helping a local charity makes my 8 minute drive to Pittsford worth while. Dado is fashion and class all rolled in to one.

Statement is an incredible boutique located in the heart of Park Ave. I have purchased my favorite sunglasses ($10!) and my favorite jumpsuit from this trendy storefront. They are still posting on social and selling goods via call, text, and social media! Just write in if you see something you like at this time, and they will ship or deliver for FREE! Such an amazing service. This is one of those businesses I am just fired up about returning to once this chaos has ended. I always feel so welcomed when I come in here and always find something beautiful to take home with me. Even the way the store is laid out brings me joy! Courtney is so wonderful and great about giving honest opinions on what works and what doesn't. I would love to get to a point where I am adventurous and willing to take a stab at some of their crazy/fun prints that I associate with their IG feed! Until we can meet again, Statement! Miss you so.

Seriously whenever I wear jewelry I can't concentrate on anything else. I end up taking it off and losing it. What I can tell you is that the woman working there was wonderfully helpful! She recommended a few places to look for actual attire and even called her hair stylist friend next door for more suggestions. Finally I find one tag on the sweater with a QR code because I needed cleaning information and it took me to Shein's website for care instructions. I found the listing, the sweater was $9.75 on Shein and they were selling it for $28 in store. I don't know if the item came with no tags or they were cut off, but I felt deceived. I don't know what the store is like currently, I will not go back. Photos from their Instagram and the Shein listing attached. Raising prices is normal for many stores, but I don't like to support this because I feel shopping from Shein is unethical.
