The employees taught us how to sample safely and made it a really fun experience. Shoutout to our local community heroes here at Pepper Palace. Ms Linda was as lively, personable, and unique just like the sauces! She has a great disposition and she fills up the room with her cheerful Spirit. She helped us pair up a good mustard hot sauce with a dry spice mix. We bought the creole mustard sauce and the creole dry spice mix. We also bought a ghost mustard & habanero sauce! Which was flavorful and not just hot. Hubby is much more adventurous than me and his spicy meter is way up . I am so happy that he found a few new sauces that he liked. Stop by, there's lots of spicy sauces to choose from! Linda is an absolutely sensational shopkeeper, i must have spent over an hour in the store and had a wonderful time tasting products with her. she was incredibly informative and had suggestions for sauce uses and applications. the selection of bbq sauces both sweet and spicy were the highlight of my trip to the shop. i purchased almost half of their bbq lineup! i also highly recommend the sweeter reaper sauce, i can't wait to get home and start using it. i highly recommend pepper palace for friendly service and great sauces. read more

The Lady was nice she greeted us immediately!! She was conversational all the while telling me and my bff about what they had to offer. When you went into the store it was set up really nice they even have hot clause contracts you have to try for all the super hot stuff just like on some of those Food network shows!! It was wall to wall EVERYTHING seasonings, marinades, slim Jims, fruit topped items, just anything a Foodie or Chef would love!! Whoa!! Foodie heaven. Couldn't take it all in during my one visit. Will def be back. Lots to sample. However it is hot sauce, so there is only so much that you can handle in one shot. Great place for those looking to add to their sauce collection. My one tip is to be very cautious with how much you taste in one sample. You literally may just need a small dab to get the full taste. Get all your spicy needs here! The old lady is very helpful and relatable! Her stories are just so funny!!! She helped us pick out our products, and gave us so many recommendations! My fiancé's mouth is on FIRE eating their salsa, but he can't stop eating it!!! So many different seasonings and sauces! She will even recommend what sauces taste good with certain foods. Besides the fact that they have a killer brand with a huge selection of incredible products all produced by the company, this store had an awesome selection of samples and phenomenal staff. Linda is an absolute angel - she could tell we were just stopping in out of curiosity, and hung back to let us explore. Once we had a chance to take it all in, she met us with samples and judgment-free water cups to cool off from our adventure into ghost pepper territory. If she hadn't approached us, we probably would have left without buying anything. But she was attentive, kind, and intuitive, so we learned about the products and tried things we never would have thought twice about. She was so knowledgeable - even without having tasted some of the items - that we were inspired to take home a bounty of rubs and sauces. I decided to take my family to Pepper Palace tonight (May 29th) because they have never been to one before. I went to the one in Baltimore and had a great time. I actually spent over $70 in sauces because the staff and sauces were so great. Anyways we got to the place in National Harbor 35 minutes before they closed and the worker had everything cleaned up and didn't have any chips or sauces to taste. He said that his manager told him to close an hour early. This is completely disappointing and not good business. I'm extremely upset. On to the next place. read more

A great experience! Go in and yell "Pepper Palace is Awesome" and get a free bottle of Awesome Sause. They have mild sauses as well as rubs, seasonings, cheese dips, salsas and so many other things. I went in and tried there LD 50 hot sause, HOT does not began to describe it! When I asked the cashier what the most popular item was, she seemed annoyed I was asking about their products. When I asked the cashier if a particular hot sauce was good, she rudely said, "I hate when people ask me that, what am I supposed to say, no, it's nasty, don't buy it."
