There's a plethora of hot sauce spices, sauces, sauces, barbecue sauce and other condiments of every level spice. We noticed but there's no employees wearing masks inside here. You can try out some of the sauces, but would dare in this current pandemic and with the lack of masks in here.

Shoutout to our local community heroes here at Pepper Palace. Ms Linda was as lively, personable, and unique just like the sauces! She has a great disposition and she fills up the room with her cheerful Spirit. She helped us pair up a good mustard hot sauce with a dry spice mix. We bought the creole mustard sauce and the creole dry spice mix. We also bought a ghost mustard & habanero sauce! Which was flavorful and not just hot. Hubby is much more adventurous than me and his spicy meter is way up . I am so happy that he found a few new sauces that he liked. Stop by, there's lots of spicy sauces to choose from! Ms Linda will be there for some encouragement and knowledge!

Linda is an absolutely sensational shopkeeper, i must have spent over an hour in the store and had a wonderful time tasting products with her. she was incredibly informative and had suggestions for sauce uses and applications. the selection of bbq sauces both sweet and spicy were the highlight of my trip to the shop. i purchased almost half of their bbq lineup! i also highly recommend the sweeter reaper sauce, i can't wait to get home and start using it. i highly recommend pepper palace for friendly service and great sauces.

The Lady was nice she greeted us immediately!! She was conversational all the while telling me and my bff about what they had to offer. When you went into the store it was set up really nice they even have hot clause contracts you have to try for all the super hot stuff just like on some of those Food network shows!! It was wall to wall EVERYTHING seasonings, marinades, slim Jims, fruit topped items, just anything a Foodie or Chef would love!! I'm definitely returning for the Chocolate Habanero sauce they even have sooo many horseradish sauces at different levels it's kept in a box with a warning label on it. I'm most certainly coming back!

I was at pepper palace Saturday, December 30th and great service. Great customer service and my only issue is that I couldn't carry all the hot sauce. So i bought a couple of them. But if I could, I've would have bought a lot more. here are all the ones that I bought. Plan to go back very nice.

Whoa!! Foodie heaven. Couldn't take it all in during my one visit. Will def be back. Lots to sample. However it is hot sauce, so there is only so much that you can handle in one shot. Great place for those looking to add to their sauce collection. My one tip is to be very cautious with how much you taste in one sample. You literally may just need a small dab to get the full taste. Otherwise you may hurt yourself. Lol.

Fairly large spot for everything spicy or hot. My first time in here. Pleasant helpful staff. I don't know how they can afford to stay open with this type of business. I bought a bottle of meat rub just because I liked the label. For the heat lover I guess this is your spot. As for me, once is plenty.

Update I made the queso from the PEPPER PALACE chili starter , 1/2 block of velveetta cheese, 1- 8oz block cream cheese. I added crabmeat for the B-more flare and a dash of old bay seasoning.

I arrived right at opening--11:30 on the dot--which turned out to be perfect timing. I grabbed a seat outside under the cool, shaded overhang. Lovely atmosphere overall, though the piped‑in music felt a bit loud. Maybe I was just extra sensitive because of the mood I was in. My waitress greeted me promptly and professionally, and I ordered the shrimp and grits along with the ginger broccoli. A few minutes later, the shrimp and grits arrived--a generous portion, but the texture immediately threw me off. Instead of the creamy, velvety consistency I expect and love, the grits leaned gelatinous, almost set, which made the dish feel a bit off. The flavor was there, but the texture wasn't my preference, and the overall balance didn't quite land. This fusion, for me, missed the mark. The ginger broccoli was okay--bright, fresh, and nicely seasoned--but it could've used a little more soul. Maybe a quick grill or char to deepen the flavor instead of simply steaming and tossing with sauce and sesame seeds. All in all, an okay meal from a place where I'm used to dishes with more depth and warmth. I hope they revisit the shrimp and grits and bring back some of that Southern richness. I still love Succotash, and I'll definitely return--just probably to try something other than the shrimp and grits next time.

The main concern we have is with the STAFF, all 3 of them. As I walked in (delicious smell btw), I immediately commented on the pralines he was making and said "hi, those look delicious". He looked at me, no smile and said nothing so I repeated myself. Again, nothing but a mean look on his face so I moved on. The other two weren't friendly either but at least I got the one serving me the apple to comment on her favorite flavor with some nudging. She had the longer hair. We faired no better with the one serving the ice cream. We gave up at that point on trying to ask questions or make polite conversation. That, combined with the fact that candy stores seem to be having a moment, put me in a position to check this place out. So before we headed out to the train station, we made a quick stop here. IT'SUGAR is a chain/franchise, with multiple locations across the country. In my perspective, this store is large with a good selection. They have packaged brands that we all know, plus the option to buy in bulk or in takeaway packages. I saw most of the usual suspects, as well as brands I didn't recognize as well as a large selection of Swedish candy which is currently trending. You can by bulk candy either by weight or volume; I decided to go the latter and choose one of their containers that can be filled as much as possible as long as the lid closed. I mostly stuck to the fruity and chewy candies which were quite good. It wasn't busy at all when we were there, so checkout was super fast. For three kids and my little bit of Swedish fish, I spent $62, which is a bit much for candy in my opinion. But hey, it was spring break, and they had a great time, so I let it slide. The associate working there was very patient with the kids,--it was a lot going on with all that excitement and sugar overload! Back in the day, Aldi stores had product that was poorly merchandised and the interior of their stores reminded me of food pantries. Very uninviting, disorganized, basic and off-brand...so I avoided them except for the occasional crate of strawberries or piece of fruit - which I would quickly buy, then leave. That was about five years ago. I bought a lime one time I think, but I was building up my nerve over time in small doses lol. I started going into a few more Aldi locations consistently about two years ago after someone turned me on to those CLANCY'S chips. Couldn't believe how good they were and for such a ridiculously low price. For many years prior I was going to regular grocery stores or Walmart/Target spending $4-$6 for a "family size" bag of chips that's two-thirds air anyway. Where those KETTLE brand chips were on "sale" for $2.50 a bag. Otherwise, $5 a bag. I don't buy chips from anywhere other than Aldi now. Same chips $1 a bag, or less depending on which you buy. Although limited, their produce is suprisingly good too. And even some organic stuff if that's your thing. An Aldi cucumber - 49¢. A Safeway cucumber - $1.29 An Aldi avocado - 69¢. Safeway/Giant - $1.59 Mixed salad greens, Aldi $2.49. Safeway - $6. They even sell a smaller size where Safeway only sells the $6 plastic package. The lines are often too long; you bag your own groceries (so bring your reusable bags); no self checkout; buy your plastic bags; all maladies not uncommon to the traditional chains these days so no big deal there. Oh, and you'll pay 25¢ to rent a cart but often people are leaving as you're entering and will offer theirs. Either way, also no big deal. The chips got my attention and reaquainted me with the Aldi brand. I've migrated into the produce so who knows what's next. I'm still working my way up! Pleased to report that Aldi's has also remodeled most of their stores. The chain has grown on me and no longer makes me itch. Scoring = 4 Also, owned by the same folks that own TRADER JOE'S.

We eyed it the night before while driving into National Harbor, and thought it would be an ideal place to go - so off we went. Silver Diner is a chain with several locations in the MDV area. It wasn't crowded when we arrived shortly after 8am, so we were seated right away. The space is large with a combination of booths, tables, and a counter - very typical diner. There was a hint of retro vibes here, and as a whole the space looked great. Like many a diner, the menu is extensive with a variety of cuisines. The breakfast selections were pretty standard, but we noticed they offered some specials on weekdays that consisted of a breakfast dish, coffee, and juice. We all decided to order a special - and I went with the jack cheddar cheese omelette. I had a choice of meat to add (I went with sausage), and the dish also came with hash browns and a biscuit. The food itself was good - solid diner fare. The reason why I'm giving such a low rating is that there were major breakdowns in service. Coffee service was relatively slow, we did not get any juice nor were we asked to order it despite being part of the specials we ordered, my colleague wasn't offered any breakfast meat with her dish despite it being advertised as it being included, and my dish was served with a side of fruit instead of hash browns. These were fixed, but there was just a multitude of misses that really impacted the meal. Perhaps we came on a bad morning, but my experience at Silver Diner wasn't the best. I would consider giving them another shot, but I'm not running back.
