Pepe's has good food and great service! On Thursdays, they have 2 for 1 margaritas which makes it two for $7 dollars. Or top shelf for 2 for $9. Great deal! The only negative to Pepe's is that the parking lot is very small. I will definitely be back to explore the menu. read more

Picked up on Pepe's after some Yelp searching and wound up having a nice time. We were there late so it wasn't crowded or loud. The food was good. Not outstanding, but tasty. Portion sizes were good and the food was hot and fresh. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and eager to please. Our waiter would sometimes disappear for stretches of time. It wasn't really an issue because the other waiters would come to the table. The whole team was waiting on us, so it wasn't a problem just an odd thing. One caveat - the parking lot is teeny weeny. We wound up parking next door and walking over. It was late so that wasn't a problem, but it could be difficult at lunch time or during the day when the neighboring businesses are open. read more

Should be closed. Place is always empty. Waitresses are extremely rude & slow as a turtle. Waited 10 minutes after being seated & still couldn't even get a glass of water. Then waitress says she refuses to serve me or my party of 5 because I brought a snowball inside from next door. I'm 29 years old & have never been refused service over having a snowball.. never the less the service here is absolutely terrible, just avoid. read more

I placed a call-in order for quesabirria tacos with consommé and queso and everything is a 10 out of 10! The quoted time was 15 to 20 minutes, but I was there in 12 and it was already ready. Pepe's is a cute place with a warm atmosphere and good food. We were skeptical about the service because when I called to ask a question the person on the phone was fairly short and rude. However we were pleasantly surprised at the excellent service. We got: small cheese dip, taco plate (carnitas, Al pastor, carne asada) and a la carte tamale, pastor taco and chicken enchilada. The only weak points were the chips (tasted not fresh and were hard and cold) and the carne asada (not much flavor). Everything else was delicious. We will definitely be back! read more

I've checked out this spot a few times for taco Tuesday and it doesn't disappoint! The crowd has been different the few times that I've been. One day it was packed, another day it was empty. I will say the playlist is always great! They drinks are two for 1 when I've gone on a Tuesday. I'm not sure if that's an always thing there. I've had the on the rocks but my friends brag on the frozen cocktails . I typically get the standard tacos, and then I've also tried the lettuce wraps before! I highly recommend both! Went there as recently as last nigh. Really used to love this place. The food is good, but the portions are all over the place - from the drinks to the cups and bowls. Every time I go a portion of something is scaled back. The two for one drinks on Thursday went from a nice size to the size of a juice glass - which tells me I am paying full price (possibly more) if the size of the drink is smaller. The charro beans went from a cup to the size of a condiment ramekin. When you point out the discrepancy, they do nothing to rectify the situation, but rather argue about it or rudely proclaim excuses. They actually said the ounces of the obviously smaller dishes are the same as the larger ones. It is hard to make sense of it when someone else at the table has the same thing in a much larger glass or bowl! The last two times I ordered the Pepe's Alambres - which is supposed to come out sizzling. The first time it looked like someone poured water on it, and the second time it came out cold - again, no offer to rectify anything even when it was called to their attention. It's like being told to be grateful for what you get! The short waitress with the pony tale is just plain rude - very rude! And rude is putting it mildly. The worst thing of all if the transfer of the male waiter to another location, because he knew how to provide customer service and would address the discrepancies. Sorry to see this place fluctuate like it has, I never know what to expect anymore and feel uncomfortable dealing with waitresses who do not enjoy what they do - and who think they can treat people poorly and expect that they will come back. Or perhaps they are hoping you don't! This used to be my Thursday evening outing because it is close to my home. I have brought friends here who loved it as much as I did until the female waitresses changed all of that!!! I will give it one more chance and I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised when I go back. Do yourself a favor and come visit this hole in wall Mexican restaurant towards the end of Williams on the way to the Treasure Chest Casino. Place was nicely decorated, and the ambiance was fitting of a Mexican restaurant. To start, hot fresh chips and salsa were bought to your table. The salsa was different from other typical Mexican restaurants and was delicious with a small spicy kick. We ordered normal fountain drinks, which was a good surprise, being that it was a "hole in the wall place" So that was an automatic plus for me. I ordered the "La Flauta Plate" which I ordered two shredded beef and two shredded chicken flautas that came with beans and rice. My mom ordered the "Carne Asada" Plate which came on a sizzling Plate and beans, rice and tortillas on the side. Both plates were reasonably priced being that the flautas were $13.99 and Carne Asada was $15.99. I've seen prices for those plates much higher starting around the $20 mark at other Mexican restaurants around town. The chips/salsa, and fountain drinks are free refills (once again unusual for small places around town) The food was hot-n-fresh and delicious. The steak was well marinated and the flautas were made fresh to order. The service was on point...our waiter was happy to give us anything that we needed. I highly recommend this place. Give it a try! Will definitely come back for Thursdays margaritas special and to try the Molcajete!!! read more

Great to find a good MEXICAN restaurant close to home. Many of the Latina restaurants opening are other types of Latin food. This place is attractive and has a nice sized variety of dishes. Tamales were great. The sauce on both tamales and enchiladas was rich and delicious. The salsa served with the chips was thin but tasty. The queso dip was incredible. Me and my wife went with out daughter to eat today. The Food was fantastic, the Salsa had a much better flavor that Don José abs the Chips were fresh. I had Pepe's Pollo Loco and it was delicious! The Grilled Chicken was juicy abd very flavorful, covered on Seasoned Mushrooms, cheese and fresh cooked spinach. My wie enjoyed a Taco Salad and iur Daughter enjoyed a cooked well Seasoned Beef Tongue, which she said was very tender, juicy and delicious. We will be back.
