But, after they replaced my tire they told me I should also replace all my break pads and my rotors... not a cheap fix. I decided to wait and ended up taking it to a place in Phenix City near where I work instead. He told me my rotors are COMPLETELY FINE and do NOT need to be replaced. He told me all I needed was new break pads on the front and an oil change... which cost less than half of what Auburn Tire had tried to charge me. Suggest getting a second opinion after looking into Auburn Tire.

They lifted my car and brought me into the workshop and showed me and explained that the air compressor was find and what the problem most likely was. I don't know anything about cars and I was glad they tried to explain everything and help me understand. I only discovered this because when I went to have the oil changed the next cycle at the Express oil change in TigerTown (opelika) they told me that my car had no oil filter in it and asked me who changed the oil and I peeled the sticker back and handed it to the technician. He made note of it and put it in a report in my file for future reference. This was more than a bit scary to me. I do not know how much damage was done over the next several thousand miles, but I am sure it isn't good. This was intentional because even if they did not have a filter in stock, they could have left the old one in and I could have gotten my damn oil changed some where else. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you go there, good luck!!!

It was like i was bothering them when i pulled in. The guy sat at his computer and yelled out options for me from across the bay. Then got aggravated when i couldn't hear him. They didn't bother checking the air pressure in my tires, they barely had any oil in stock, and the second he finished pouring the oil in, he pulled the dipstick out and checked it and that was it. I will never go back. The whole atmosphere there now is unprofessional and they are just doing the bare minimum to get by.

I traveled to Auburn AL during a Hurricane evacuation for several days this September . I needed…read morewindshield wipers so I stopped in at Express Oil on S College St in Auburn. I was approached as soon as I drove in by the assistant manager, Ben Burchfield. After purchasing the wipers and having them installed Ben topped off my wiper fluid and checked the pressure in all my tires, adding where needed. Then as I was leaving he ran after me to tell me my rear brake lights were out! Eventhough he certainly could have charged me for parts and labor with no complaint on my part, he installed 2 new bulbs and charged only a coupe of bucks for the bulbs themselves. In addition a day or two later I returned because of a slight roaring noise that I feared was my transmission! The technicians checked out the car, topped off my transmission fluid, checked the brakes and then Ben and I drove it for a few miles to determine the source. After returning to the shop Ben crawled under the car and found the source of the problem, a loose piece of plastic molding that was rubbing the inside of the tire. He was able to remove the plastic and solved the problem with a charge of nothing but a smile! This kind of extra mile service is more than welcome relief especially for someone misplaced by an approaching storm! Everyone in the facility was friendly and professional, I highly recommend this Auto Repair shop for any automotive needs.

They ordered and replaced the tire and planned to repair the wheel. The next week they told me that the wheel was not repairable and would need replaced. I went back today to have it replaced but they ordered the wrong size replacement wheel and it did not appear to be an OEM wheel. I have been promised that they will replace the wheel with an OEM part. I've called twice to speak to the regional manager with no return call. I am hopeful that they will replace the damaged wheel with a new one. Communication is poor. I do not recommend Mavis.

When you first start driving the vehicle, it sounds like something is scraping and really makes you think that something was done wrong. We actually took the car back thinking that someone had messed up. But shortly after driving the car around, the sound dissapated and the brakes work fine.
