Rock chips happen, and sometimes those turn into cracks. And if you have an old truck like me with…read moreoriginal glass, you might be a little nervous to get it replaced. Is it going to fit right? Will that blue glare strip be at the top? The only way to find out is just to do your research, find a glass company that specializes in the older glass replacements and ask questions if you've got em (which I did). My insurance sent me to Safelite, but after reading their reviews there was no way I was going to trust them with my truck! I found Blue Chip and their amazing customer feedback online and gave them a call. Kelly answered my questions, and was humbled by my asking to switch from Safelite. The appointment was set, lobby was stocked with delicious snacks (even vegan) and drinks, and the bathroom was clean. Chris checked me in, and John checked me out when it was time to leave. Freddy did a stellar job on my truck, even grabbing me to show what the body of my truck looked like after removing the old glass (yeah, there was some rust there). He explained that while he can do his best to clean it up by grinding it, that there would be a chance in the future for leaks and would be unavoidable unless I got body work done to fix it, which I opted out of. I thanked him for his transparency. Mind you, I have a 1999 GMC Suburban, which is not perfect, but I don't mind it. Freddy showed me my glass when he was all finished and I couldn't have been happier! I met Kelly in person as I was leaving and find that he is a great business owner who really cares about his clients and their experience with his shop. This is the type of business I have no problem supporting every time, and if I need them in the future, "I'll be back".

Short and sweet:…read more YES.. don't doubt, don't wait.. just call! I don't think there is anything I can say that every other review hasn't already said.. but this was THE BEST car window replacement I have EVER had!! (And I've had quite a few broken windshields...) The deets: From the moment you call, the process, the guidance, the kindness, the ease, the replacement, EVERYTHING went off so smooth... I was like WOW!! When you call they get your details and call your auto insurance company with you.. they know what to say, how to guide everything and prepare you for the call (as if they've done this before ) After that your insurance company sends you a link, submit some photos... and BOOM! I think the whole process of booking took less than 30 minutes. They did mention Liberty Mutual is pretty great to work with.. so I have to give them a little shoutout too!! I was scared since I had let it sit for a few weeks and from summer the cracks went from small rock hits to spiderwebs across the car.. but luckily my insurance covered EVERYTHING!! Huge blessing cuz I didn't see glass coverage on my policy. So no cost to me.. super quick and efficient.. and really friendly people!! It's not really a negative.. but these guys are so busy, plan for a few days to get it done. I called on a Saturday and they were there on a Tuesday.. so still super quick! The guy that came was fast, efficient and was in and out in no time!! They made sure to get all the details ahead of time and even asked that I take a picture of the old glass type so they could match it since I had an electronic rear view mirror. Everything works great, I can see clearly out my windows now and they did a GREAT job! Thanks again!!

Magic Windshields did a good job. So, I needed a windshield for my Mustang, and I didn't really…read morethink much about it. For a different car I'd used "A large corporation that does windshields that everyone has heard of and does passable work." Weirdly enough they couldn't do it, and it turns out I'm glad they couldn't. Apparently there are materials they couldn't get due to the age and style, so I had to check in to alternatives. Magic Windshield got back to me first and had marvelous reviews and I see why now. First, the frustrating. When I checked, they got back to me with a very low quote. I called them up, and I asked two questions. "Does it have a logo?" No. That costs more. Okay I figured it would. "This other company couldn't do it due to this that and the other. Are you sure you can do it?" Yes, but it will cost more because of these things. At this point I'm frustrated that people don't check before giving a quote and making appointments, but I'm starting to think I should just get it done, so I bite the bullet, pay a bit more, and make the appointment. A day later they are changing my appointment time; and I'm questioning my intelligence for making an appointment with a completely unknown entity. Now, the good. The glass fits like a glove, unlike what was in the car before. They fixed the molding that the previous company messed up. They also aligned the trim correctly, which the previous company also messed up. The front of the car literally has never looked this good. Once they got here (and it turns out they had a good reason for the reschedule), they did a quick and efficient job. Despite the previous outfit's incompetence, they did not charge more. They fixed the problems, and were as good as their word on the quote. I promise, I had no idea that it had been done wrong, but now that it's right, I can tell. Bottom line, they did a good job. The work is good, they use the right parts, and though I paid a bit more than some others might have charged, it was worth it.

I called a couple other glass companies recommended by my insurance that opened early and neither had any appointment's available that day to replace my windshield. I spoke with Gracie who was very helpful and checked with the installers and manager to make sure they could get my windshield replaced before I left work. I needed to leave work by 2pm at the latest and she made sure it would happen. I was also informed the company was also a recommended shop by my insurance, so that was a nice bonus. Gracie told me they could get it done and come to my work to get it done before 1pm. Cristian, the installer called me about 10 minutes before he arrived and quickly replaced my windshield. I am extremely thankful they were able to help me out so quickly and get me back on the road. The interaction I had with both employees was very pleasant and professional and the install was great.
