I got a regular all body massage even though I pointed out the two areas still hurting, and neither one was given as much attention as my ankles, which isn't why I was there at all. It's been two hours and my eyes are still burning from the perfumes, which were much more noticeable than the first time. I was so disappointed. If only the first time could have been repeated. The techs are very friendly and at this point know me by name. They have soooo many gel color options. I oftentimes find it difficult to choose between all the colors! I personally have never had an issue here regardless of who my nail tech is. I've also gotten pedicures and find those to be enjoyable as well. Many times, I will ask them to do the gel color on my toes so that it stays longer. All in all, I highly recommend Avalon as an excellent salon for your next mani/pedi. They are the best!

Secondly we were never asked what type of massages we wanted. Both therapists proceeded to manhandle us with extreme deep tissue massages when we were looking for relaxing swedish massages. I have never had a massage where I was in pain and about in tears during and felt more tense afterwards. It was requested twice during the session to go lighter on the pressure and it was ignored.
