Just wanted to start by saying that I have had multiple 5 star experiences at Bellezza but this time fell a bit short as my deep tissue massage left more to be desired. Morgan was extremely sweet, some constructive criticism I have would be that the massage didn't feel very personalized to my anatomy/musculature and physical needs- pressure was light to medium and her technique was a lot of upward brushing and up and down scrubbing with her knuckles over very broad areas. With a deep tissue massage, I look forward to deeper pressure targeted towards working the knots in my muscles. This was more of a relaxation massage, which can be great, but when you're anticipating some relief it can be kind of a let down. Another thing would be offering a bolster to help body positioning, by the end of the massage my back was hurting pretty bad. I think they just have one massage therapist right now, but I would definitely try another therapist if they got one because I really enjoy Bellezza. read more

The women there are always nice. I always receive wonderful customer service, but everytime I go in I always get a different price for a cuticle trim. That's the only thing I get done there. I've had several people told and charged me $20 for it and then next time around when I go to have it done the lady tells me it's $30 and I get charged an additional $10. They really need to figure out their prices and the last time I went in for my cuticle trim the lady cut the side of my finger with an emery board. I figured that wouldn't be a problem and I'll just slap a bandaid on it when I get home. It's been about 2-3 weeks and my finger is swollen and a small blister has appeared. I had to peel away some dry skin that has formed over the blister to try to pop it but it hurts too much and too swollen to do that. I probably won't be back to their salon ever again! Update: The swelling on my finger has gone down and the blister finally popped. I had too clean away a bunch of dry skin from around my nail. My cuticle looks really messed up at this point. I definitely won't be back to their salon! They have no idea what their doing there! read more

I just wanted to update my review as the owner of the salon reached out shortly after my review was posted. The owner offered a free lash lift and tint with the senior esthetician at the salon. I originally was not going to take it just on principle, but went ahead as I could not get in anywhere else since it was so last minute and I had my appointment booked for awhile. My service turned out great, and I was glad I was able to get it done. They have updated their website with their new guidelines on servicing pregnant women after my service, which I appreciated so no one else had to waste time or childcare. I was grateful the owner made the situation right, and appreciated her willingness to fix it, and that she reached out to me to further discuss it. While I don't think I'll be back for a service in the future, I appreciate the great customer service of the owner. read more

Bellezza used to be amazing. I never went anyplace except Bellezza for both hair and spa treatments. They've declined so much over the past 18 months, I will never go back. The techs are 18 year olds with zero experience. The prices have all greatly increased. The communication is poor. Their scheduling system is completely messed up. The turnover (which is a great indicator of the quality of the salon) is almost 100%. Don't waste your time or money! I've not talked to anyone who has had a good experience there in many many months! read more

Very nice spa atmosphere, clean and pretty. The people are very kind and welcoming and they take good care of you and your needs. I loved the pedicure I got, and prices aren't that bad! I have been going to Nicole at Bellezza for about 3 years. I always get an amazing haircut. Bellezza is very nice and so are the employees. I've had other stylists cut my hair (Stephanie B) and it turned out great as well. About twice a year I have Nicole put "fun color" on my hair, greens, blues, and purple. The purple washed out easily, but Nicole fixed it for free. The greens and blues last a long time. I have been stopped many times by people to complement my hair style and color! I always give props to my stylist, Nicole. I have short hair but I'm sure she probably does great on long hair as well. I moved to Reynoldsburg from Newark but still drive 40ish minutes to get my hair cut and colored by Nicole. To me it is worth the drive. The price is average for a good salon cut, under $40. read more

I waited about 3 weeks to write this because I wanted to give them time to respond. I emailed the two owners the evening of my experience, but never heard back. That was very disappointing. My regular hair stylist is in Grove City, and I had circumstances that would prevent me from getting into see her for a very long time, so I thought I would take a chance and go here. I had what was to be a full highlight. I showed the hair stylist, who was only 20 I believe what I was going for and asked if this was something that she could do. She assured me that she absolutely could. The lightener was left on far more longer than I'm use to, but I trusted her expertise, but then when the toner was put on and I sat for 30 minutes with it on, I begin to panic. I've never had toner on for more than 10-15 at the most. While she was washing it all out and shampooing, etc, she kept focusing on my bangs, so I knew something was wrong. I had asked for my bangs to be my money pieces per say. Once we got back to the chair, I noticed immediately something was very wrong. My bangs looked orange, and the texture and feel of my hair felt tacky. I almost freaked out and was holding back tears. I am 48, so I know my hair. It wasn't soft, silky or smooth. She then began to blow dry my hair and was having an issue with the hair above my nape. So she stopped and used a comb to comb through. That is not normal for me at all. Once dry, my hair was not the color I wanted, nor was my silver or dark roots colored. I was holding back tears, and I'm a tough woman. She asked how I wanted it styled, so I let her so I could give it one more chance. It looked awful, it was because the texture was tacky. I left and got home and cried. My hair is everything, as it is for every woman. Once I was home, I kept smelling that toner strongly, and then I felt the hair above my nape and it felt like toner was still in my hair and that had to be why she couldn't brush through it. I rewashed it and it made some difference, by my texture felt and looked like it had been fried. It looked like I had split ends all over the top of my hair. So for $115, I should LOVE my hair. I'm extremely disappointed that the owners didn't reach out. I offered to come back in for them to see and or send pictures. I never received any response. My review is to help others, and to make sure you have someone experienced, and to make sure the business actually cares about their clients. read more

I just recently moved to Newark and was looking for a hair salon because my former hair stylist lived 3 hours away. I saw an add for Bellezza Salon in a coupon handout in the office I currently work at and decided to try it out. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my hair, so when it's not cut correctly I know. I was greeted right as I walked into the door and was helped immediately. My stylist was wonderful, very outgoing and a great listener (I'm a chatty cathy) and was so happy she wasn't annoyed by all my stories. She knew what she was doing and cut my hair EXACTLY how I wanted it. I was then escorted back to the front desk after she was finished cutting my hair. The environment was lovely and very up beat. Definitely not what I expected when I made my appointment. They know what they're doing and do it well. I recommend Bellezza Salon if you're looking for a new hair stylist or are like me and needed someone who knew what they doing! read more
