I came here to get my hair done in early August, my first time going out alone since I had a baby a few weeks prior . I wanted to relax and get my hair done and go home but the person who did my hair (Karolla) made that impossible. She lectured me majority of the time she did my hair about how I needed to take care of it and told me if I come again with my hair tangled , they will charge me extra . It was miserable and I wanted to leave but finally she shut up and just did my hair . I've never had this issue here when I came in the past but they have changed things around Needless to say I won't be returning, I don't recommend this place to anyone read more

I was randomly looking through the reviews on fine evening to get a nice haircut. I thought I would give this place a try. It looks busy and fancy and bit different from any salon you would walk in on any regular give day. The service was super cool and welcoming. I got a nice shape and look to my hair when I walked out of that place. And one thing I liked about this place is they don't force you to try their products although you get some nice suggestions if you are looking for one. For the price it's bit up compared to a regular salon. But I promise you'l get what you pay read more

Omg! This was my first time at this salon, but it won't be my last! I was here visiting friends and was referred! It was just an awesome salon experience, from beginning to end. The salon was designed beautifully and I was welcomed by friendly associates. Everything went smoothly. I live so far away, but every time I am here I will definitely be visiting Synergi salon. The products are awesome as well. I bought a sampler pack of some of the products, which was a great deal. The stylist I had an appointment was Alaina! She's awesome! I would definitely recommend her. Even thought I was a new client I felt welcomed. She walked me through everything she was doing and what products were being used on my hair. Hair looks shiny but wayyyy too MUCH heat was used. I prefer to wear my hair straight 70% of the time but have NEVER had this much direct heat applied. I was blow dried, placed under a hooded dryer, pressed out with a titanium flat iron then the ends bumped again with a ceramic. My hair is not very kinky or very thick, there was no need for this much heat. Seems like they do the same routine for all clients, rather than really accessing your hair's needs. My hair smells burnt hours later & is super flat with no volume. Despite the recommendations I had prior, I will never be back. Save your money & save yourself from the heat damage!! read more

I have gotten my hair done hear twice and let me tell you, you get what you pay for. One stylist was superb and the other seemed to not know how to handle natural hair. They have a 60 minute guarantee which is outrageous when dealing with natural hair and they often double book themselves so they rush through your hair. The one stylist I had was very rude and started combing my hair from the root and told me I was loosing hair because I did not get it straightened enough. If you are on a budget and you need a quick fix, I may advise you to spend a little extra and go elsewhere. read more

I'm usually pleased with Synergi. This was my first time at the Gahanna location. The stylist was one of the new talent ones and seemed to rush through the appointment because it was at 6 pm, which is still no excuse. She got a little too close to my scalp with the flat iron a couple times. She also didn't use a proper cutting technique. First time I had a stylist cut my hair with just scissors. No comb to pull the hair out completely. Another indication she was in a rush. I was disappointed in my service. read more

So this was my second time at Synergi Gahanna. The first time I got my hair straightened. The second time I got a twistout. The stylist was telling me how she could do finger twists and I was thinking great - I'll try something new. She tried and then told me that my curl pattern was wavy and the finger twists wouldn't work. Now my hair is shoulder length blown out. I have 4c hair. There is absolutely NO WAY you couldn't do finger twists on my hair. That makes no sense. Like I guess she just didn't know how. That really ticked me off! Then in general, the stylists don't know your name. They don't pay much attention to the clients. Its all about getting you in and out like a product. It's just not a fun salon. It feels like a very sterile environment. Positives were that my twistout came out BOMB and she gave me a good trim which I needed. The style was $25 but she wrote it up for $45. To do a twistout - I think not!!!!! So the receptionist adjusted my bill. If you go, try someone who is not super young and has been there a while. read more
