Unfortunately I haven't lived in Cincinnati for 6 years. Somehow I've been able to make it work though. Recently it's been difficult and I haven't had the time to get my haircut each time I travel there. I'd been in serious need of a cut for over a month & thinking about a color when I saw a Groupon offer for Cut Color Style. I decided to go for it even though I'd previously had horrible experiences whenever I strayed from my Cincy stylist. I was a little nervous, but the need to find a stylist in my current city won out. I called the number & reached a voicemail giving me the numbers of the three stylists. I then called the number for Holly Clark, leaving my desired day & appointment time. Holly called back minutes later and my appointment was scheduled for less than a week later. The salon is hidden behind the shops at Worthington. I ended up just wandering around until I found it. It's near a very cute pet shop that I'll be visiting the next time I'm in. I entered the salon with shoulder-length deep red hair & left with chin-length light brown hair. I love it & can't wait to go back. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair & I've been telling them all about the great experience I had with Holly. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into the comfort and design of the space. Its very chic and very customer friendly. The business provides free coffee / snacks / and even alcoholic beverages to customers. I tried the coffee during my appointment -- very good! I see Taelor (topknottae) and have been seeing her for several years at different salons. She does a great job and is just the sweetest human. Each stylist has the option to create their own hours. When i went in on a Monday there were only two stylists in so it felt like a very intimate appointment -- I hate when i go to a salon and it's poppin' and people are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. If you care about product lines, this salon uses Kevin Murphy. From what I can tell its a high end brand that is exclusive to certain locations. Parking was a breeze. Navigation was a breeze.

Due to Covid-19 I was quite concerned about going to a salon, but I felt very comfortable the entire time I was there. They have a lot of precautions put into place including taking temperatures when you enter. Additionally everyone in the salon wore their masks correctly which is not something that occurs in many places. Andy was very easy to work with and I was confident with the length (removing 12+ inches) and style that he suggested. I was very happy with my cut and look forward to visiting again. My hair cut had more lines than a movie script. Also, there was no fade. Just short hair. The hair wash was very nice. When I went back so that they could "fix" the previous attempt, I wasn't charged - though I kinda felt like they shoulda paid me!
