So the end of the story I just screwed up my day for someone's incompetence.

I have had the best stylist during this time. My only derogatory comment regarding the salon is the deterioration of the dress code. The appearance of the staff has gone downhill over the years and is less than professional. I noticed several of the employees wearing extremely casual clothing. What has happened to the dress code and professional look of their employees at this salon. My stylist, and Carly, ALWAYS look great and dress professionally. Are sleeping pants and ripped jeans with huge holes appropriate for a customer focused work environment? Is wearing clothing that is so wrinkled that it looks like it was wadded up in a ball attractive? Step it up Penzone! Enforce your dress code.

Within a short time after the appointment, I developed significant scalp irritation, including redness and sores around multiple attachment points. This was painful and not what I expected from a professional service. Due to these issues I reached out to several stylists to see if they thought I should be concerned and all of them agreed the work appeared to be improperly done and worst of all that I was at risk of hair loss due to the improper handling of my hair and the extensions. I reached out and had a FaceTime call with the owner, but I felt my concerns were dismissed rather than taken seriously, which was really disappointing. I've documented the condition of my scalp, and I would recommend others be cautious and ask detailed questions before booking extension services here. I've attached a photo below of the condition of my scalp and extensions 2 weeks after a move up, When I addressed these concerns with the owner & stylist I was accused of faking this photo and issue all together which made me feel awful and at that point the owner continued to laugh at me along with other members of the salon that were in the background during the call (it was not disclosed with me that other people would be listening in on this call.) I hope the salon improves both their technique and how they handle client concerns moving forward.

It's a beautiful, large, open space and there are different seating areas with comfy chairs. The chairs at the sinks recline and she has pillows to make them even more comfortable while having your hair shampooed. The salon is newly built at the corner of Hamilton & Warner, with parking behind it. It is just a 5 minute drive from home for me. I will definitely return for more services.
