People with Hair Extensions beware... I am a cancer survivor who went to them for a long time until one of them ruined my newly installed wefts. Was in the chair for four hours letting her try to fix it. Then left out a frustration and they still charged me. I had to pay $1000 to get them reinstalled. I tried to give them a second chance and they canceled my appointment due to my behavior. I've been here on multiple occasions usually the day before something important. Today was no different in that respect. Which I did communicate. I asked for something with tighter curls. After she did the wash part she started drying my hair. I have very thick curl hair. Which I mentioned many times. She said she had it. Turns out not so much. She held the drier so close to my hair it steamed and burned my scalp. I winced many many times. I told her it did. I'm not saying she didn't ask if I liked it but I just wanted it over with so I left. I got home hoping the curls in the back where tighter than they looked when I was there... but yeah they are not... what she did I could've done myself. My experience since the beginning as far as the stylists has been ok. They were very nice and I have never once walked out without paying or no showed. My issue is with the owner of the franchise. She blames a credit card glitch for an unauthorized charge on my card and will not reimburse, although I was told she had done so to other clients. Her demeanor was unprofessional and hostile. I was in a wedding over the weekend and booked my appointment only a few days before (huge help that they open early on saturdays!) After reading yesterday that the blowdrys were $10 off today (Black Friday), I made an online appt. for 8 am. I'm not a Black Friday shopper and wanted to avoid any traffic and rush. I was greeted by two young ladies, one of whom said she would be doing my hair and the other offered to get me coffee. We chatted about the style I wanted and then she gave me a thorough wash. Their sink chairs have recliner-type extensions on which to rest your legs, which I've never seen before at a salon. She did a great job on my hair, and used some cool products, but didn't do a hard sell. Both ladies were sweet and I will probably return when there is another special. I went here to have my hair done for a wedding. I did not have a good experience here at all. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and got nothing close to it. I had to go home immediately to wash my hair and re do it myself. Such a waste of money. Very disappointed. The stylist didn't even use a curling iron. Only used a round brush. I was mortified when she turned me around to look in the mirror. Absolutely terrible. I will never go back here. read more

LOVE this place! The decoration, first off, is so cute. The back wall decor where the hair wash station is located has the neatest idea of wood overlay. The place is cute and has a lot of potential, but I can do my hair better myself. My stylist was a 20-something in the first station who was more interested in where and with whom her coworkers were going out last night than the client experience. She seemed anxious to get out of there as I was her last appointment. She was SUPER rough on my head while washing to the point it hurt, and was scrubbing my head with a towel? Why are we roughing up the cuticles so much? (Full disclosure, I've never had a blowout before. Maybe that's the norm?) I've been growing my hair for my wedding and was a little panicked this might ruin it all as my hair is incredibly fragile when under stress. (Wedding is next month!) We'll see what breakage I get over the next week. I will be beside myself if my hair breaks off. But I digress... The curls started falling out in about 30 minutes which I never have a problem with. There was no volume left in my hair an hour later, also never have issues with when I or my my normal hairdresser do my hair. 3 of the 4 girls in my party had similar experiences. One of the girls with me had a guy in the 4th (?) station who was awesome. He was nice, gentle, and did a beautiful job. Her hair looked great all night. I have had my hair curled a few times, it was okay....the one girl did not even know how to braid and i have super long hair. the hair in the fishtail completely came out before the wedding I went to.
