Naturally I was super stoked about getting a massage and face tightening facial so I was looking forward to being pampered. Needless to say, I was really impressed with my experience. Everything from the friendly staff to the calming atmosphere made my first time experience even more relaxing. Can't say "relaxing" enough . The highlight of my visit was the massage, my masseuse was very receptive of my needs and areas that I wanted to be worked on. Well, it got the job done because after the 50 minute session my legs felt like jelly. Overall, i would highly recommend coming here and giving it a try!

I have used their medi-spa services and both my husband and I get massages regularly. They recently joined with the Hope Valley Retreat to offer both public and private events. I was fortunate to be able to attend the February 2024 Galentine's Day event. This was my first visit to the Hope Valley property and I was blown away by the beauty of it nestled in almost 50 acres of wood. This former Longaberger homestead is a hidden gem in Newark, Ohio and the perfect location for a health and wellness retreat. Upon my arrival, I was warmly greeted by Melissa and Carolee, the owners of The Center Sanctum (the best medi-spa in town). The retreat had a cozy vibe, and I could smell the tantalizing aromas coming from the kitchen. I was provided with an individualized agenda that was customized to my selection of spa services. It was apparent that Melissa, Carolee, and their staff spent considerable time organizing the event to exceed our expectations. During the event, I attended yoga and a sound bath at the glass house on the hill that was simply breathtaking and relaxing. The cocktail making event was a blast and this was accompanied by an arrangement of mouthwatering hors d'oeuvres. The personal chef also created an elegant lunch that tasted like five-star dining (thank you Buckeye Chef!). To wrap up my day, I had three customized spa services provided by The Center Sanctum team. The Ageless facial detoxed and plumped up my skin. I felt like I had that "juicy" skin of my youth. I also received Reflexology and a Hot Stone massage. Both massages helped to release tension and ease my aching back and muscles. I felt like a million dollars when I was done! Overall, I would recommend The Center Sanctum and Hope Valley retreat services. Not only do they provide events throughout the year, but they also plan private events for individuals and businesses. These are two great businesses working together to bring joy, happiness, health, and wellness into the lives of others. I was blessed to attend this event and I know you will enjoy it, too!

I've had other stylists cut my hair (Stephanie B) and it turned out great as well. About twice a year I have Nicole put "fun color" on my hair, greens, blues, and purple. The purple washed out easily, but Nicole fixed it for free. The greens and blues last a long time. I have been stopped many times by people to complement my hair style and color! I always give props to my stylist, Nicole. I have short hair but I'm sure she probably does great on long hair as well. I moved to Reynoldsburg from Newark but still drive 40ish minutes to get my hair cut and colored by Nicole. To me it is worth the drive. The price is average for a good salon cut, under $40.

I've been going here for a year now and have been serviced by the majority of people in here since…read moremost times I go in as a walk in. By far my favorite nail tech is Bee which you can tell as most of my photos are her work, and Sam is an extremely close second favorite. Bee is immensely talented at nail art and designs, and Sam is meticulous and really takes his time with nail shapes and even uses the tool under my nails to make sure everything is smooth and thin. Bee has worked with me to figure out what works best with my nails since they are different due to ehlers danlos syndrome, and we found that builder gel is best. I appreciate her explaining things to me and working with me until we found what worked. Bee and Sam do have different vibes of service too so for those who like to talk Sam is more talkative, and at least in my experience Bee is very quiet. She remembers her people though. She remembers things I have told her and my favorite colors so even though she is quiet she still pays attention and cares. I almost gave 4 stars instead of 5 though because there is one man there that I have had twice that is very rough with my hands and my nails, always tries to get me to do acrylic when I need gel, and seems to get irritated with me for wanting short nails. All the other nail techs I've had there (6 in total counting Bee and Sam) have been lovely just like Sam and Bee though. So I book with Sam or Bee now to make sure I get my favorites and can avoid the one singular nail tech that is too rough with me for my chronic illness.
