First the place has AMAZING machines. But the reason for the poor score is the pressure sales, inability to cancel without objection, and overpriced services. I know this is a franchise and they mark up their services but don't make people feel bad if they don't want to continue, or don't want to "upgrade". Example. Buy a membership and 100% of the time when I just want some easy quick sun, they try to get you to buy something (lotion, stickers, different memberships). Just let me in!!! Then the cancel process. I no longer need the membership as I start a new job and won't be in state most of the time, and they tell me they will freeze it. No thanks, just cancel. "what can we do to keep you". Just cancel please. "how about we just freeze it for now and charge just a small amount to keep your account active". No thanks just cancel. "well if you ever want to come back, the price will go up". Then I won't come back. Advice to management. Make the guest feel welcome and special. Instead of pushing upgrades. Just say, "thank you for your loyalty, if you ever need anything to improve your tanning experience, we are here for you". Simple, and I would be like oh, nice... tanning lotion. read more

Solid, fairly small place. Friendly staff. A decent selection of beds. The decor and equipment are pretty new. As always, I'm not thrilled with Palm Beach's pricing plans, but there aren't many options that work for me, so, oh well. In a strip mall near Texas Roadhouse. Careful turning in. read more

Kali is amazing! The staff is so friendly. I've grown up around the tanning industry and it's refreshing to go somewhere where the staff is educated about the importance of lotion / protection for your skin. Love the girls there! Sometimes there's a extreme wait but what can you expect with 1-2 girls working? plus the covid guidelines require a time period after cleaning the beds. These girls deserve a raise! read more

Was a great place when it first opened after Extreme Tan closed. In one year it has rapidly declined. There is always a wait because they never have enough staff. Some of them are rude as a result. They are always out of towels! How hard is it to wash towels every night for the next business day?! Seriously, who wants to get out of a hot tanning bed with no towel?! The beds are always broken, the sliding doors do not lock & now there is a huge 4x4 hole in one of the doors & they still put customers in the room. I spoke to the general manager & nothing has changed. The price of tanning here is a small fortune so I cannot believe they are still in business. Does anyone realize how annoying and super frustrating it is when you walk into tan and you are ALWAYS trying to be encouraged to upgrade or buy something??? I will continue to tan there this month because it's already paid for, but then I'll be canceling. Stop trying to rip people off. Not everyone wants to upgrade everyday, and not everyone wants to buy an expensive lotion. I will say these employees are very nice, and i'm sure they are forced to get high sales....I get it. But Management and Owners---Ridiculous and you obviously know nothing about how to become a "Great Business". It's not by annoying people. read more

I am a very happy about this tanning salon, I always feel like a valued customer when I walk in. Always greeted with a hello and before I leave they say good bye. The workers always are so chipper and very helpful! I don't know where else I would go if this one ever closes. read more

This place is horrible. 3rd time trying this place and will never be back. Girls are rude. Asked about a product when I said I will wait for a horrible attitude. 2 no time some girl had just walked in and I was checking in asked for the alpha bed the girl looked at me then past me at the girl that had just walked in and said to me that bed is taken. There was 2 of us in there and I was checking in the other girl had just walked in. Sure enough she walked out of the bed I asked for. I let the girl know I knew what she did. 3rd time my boyfriend was tanning elsewhere and since I wanted to tan was going to purchase a session. When they would only let him go the 7 min he said I'll wait and go to my place. I asked him for his lotion since I forgot mine. The girl said immediately can I see that and was looking at it and said to me you don't want to use expired lotion. I said it's not It was a brand new bottle and when I pitched 2 new ones I gave him mine. Every time I have been there the girls have been rude. I love my base salon the one in Gahanna. I will never be back. I gave them the benefit of the doubt not 1 or twice but 3 and that was enough for me. I don't write reviews hardly ever. I don't know what is going on here but they'll end up chasing good customers away with the attitudes! read more

Follow-up to the above review....unfortunately no change in my rating...the company rep Ashley did call me and we had a discussion about my incident...she agreed to refund my money and said it would appear in my bank account with 3-4 days...its been 3 WEEKS and nothing...as I said before BEWARE! read more

The staff is very friendly and the establishment is nice. However, the pricing is very misleading. I was told I could have unlimited spray tanning for $39 a month. But to get any color you have to add bronzers which costs more and more money every single time you go in on top of the $39 plus tax I've already paid to have unlimited sprays. Which defeats the purpose of having a low price. I'm at almost $100 a month to maintain any kind of color. They also always seem to be out of the mix I use so I've wasted many trips into the salon. There also seems to always be some kind of issues with the spray booth. One time it took like 4 tries to get it to work and about half an hour. The manager told me she'd put $10 credit on my account to make up for it, which was nice but when I went back in, the girl working had no idea what I was talking about because they never put it in and I was unable to use it. Another time they were out of my mix so they suggested another, well they forgot to add something in it and I came out bright red, so they put me in another booth and I came out ridiculously dark, almost offensive looking. I came in about a half hour before closing one night to get a quick spray, but the girl working already had everything taken apart so yet again I wasted a trip in. One month I left in the middle of the month to go on vacation and wouldn't be back home till the end of the month. I tried to call to cancel it so I wasn't charged for the next month but they said I had to be there in person and by the time I got home it was too late to cancel and I was charged for another month I didn't want because of so many issues. There just always seems to be some kind of issue every single time I go in and costs way more than advertised. read more
