They are more concerned with getting drunk and socializing rather than serving patrons. Dancers are also lazy and not interested in working johns. Penthouse Club Balti. If you haven't been to this place yet, what are you waiting for? It's classy with so many fine details in the decor! The space is huge, perfect for dancing or just mingling. The chairs and wraparound sofas let you lounge like a 1950s movie star. The cocktails were solid, especially for $9 a pop, and the bartenders put on a show while mixing them. Went here with a few friends and my wife. Pretty nice place once inside (its located next to the City prison!). Bathrooms are clean and it doesn't take long to get a drink. Unfortunately by the end of the night it was obvious this place goes above and beyond in trying to get in your pocket. I understand that's what happens at strip clubs but I've never experienced a financial thrashing like this. A $10 cover was a bit much and a beer and cocktail came out to $16 but that was not even much of a problem. For example, my friend (a lady friend) wanted a lap dance. We told the waitress this. She goes to get the dancer my friend liked and brings her back. Waitress says "that's 15 bux honey." OK, waitress gets $15 for some reason. Now, my friend chats with the dancer who says she'll be back (she was next on stage). She did her thing and then disappeared. So did the waitress, who never came back. Really? Do you (the waitress) need to pull shit like that to get a measly $15? I know its a strip club but damn, that's just sad. Some of the bouncers are either burned out or going way to heavy on the "I have 20 inch guns" pills. One fat behemoth was actually threatening a customer's life for sitting in his seat. I have been to every other club in Baltimore and there really is nothing better. A $20 night time cover charge keeps the cheap patrons away. TL;DR: Best gentlemen's club I've seen yet, across various places in California, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Baltimore, and Boston. Full nude club with drinks at not-insane prices, decent beer selection, fantastic girls, great lighting and atmosphere, full-contact private dances, very pleasant conversation with girls. Note: If you're a worker, security may not have your back too well. After paying a $10 cover charge (the night was still fairly young, it was probably something like 9 pm), we walk into a much, _much_ nicer and roomier spot, better mood lighting, and the best part, _every girl there_ looked fantastically hot. Not one who "wasn't my type". And the girls were talented - they knew what they were doing, kept things interested, etc. The girls didn't "hard-sell", at least not like I've seen at some clubs. They don't pester you for dances, after you've already declined, and you don't get approached every two minutes. No one approaches you at the stage, of course. Obviously, they do approach, especially if they see you hanging away from the stage without a girl near (or even if one is near, sometimes), but they don't jump right in with the sales pitch, they chat you up a bit first (obviously, if I'm not intereested in a dance, I say so immediately, so they're not wasting their time). The dance tiers are apparently: $35 for a fully-clothed dance, out on the floor. Didn't try one, so can't comment. $120 for a set of four, full-contact dances (at least that's what my friend and I got). $300 for, I think they said a half hour, in the VIP area upstairs, full-nude. There were hints that more is permitted with these dances, at least by some girls. I wouldn't know. Table dances for $20, one song. I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Hadn't done these before, because I'd never gone with a group before. I found a girl whose looks and moves appealed to me, and danced the set-of-four a couple times. The second time, knowing I'd be leaving the club pretty much immediately after, I asked if I could pay for another half-set (so, six total), and that was accepted, so I guess it's really a set of a _minimum_ of four at $30 a pop. Some clubs I've been, there's an "official" price stated by the club, and the girls have their own "special" pricing systems with unique perks at different levels. I did not encounter that here. In conversing with the girls, they seem much happier working there than other places they've worked in Baltimore, but there are some caveats. In particular, the security is basically shit. The girl I danced with said that there was a guy one night that actually walked across the (small) stage during her set, and then later _bit_ her during a private dance. And he didn't get the boot. But they say that the majority of clients behave themselves, and that it's still a pretty safe environment, especially considering the money they make. As they said, "if it wasn't safe, we wouldn't be here", but of course it's a balance. It certainly didn't have an "unsafe" feel, but I can't help but feel that a club with policies like that is in danger of slipping further into unsafety as time goes on. Or maybe they're just fortunate and The Block tends to attract the vast majority of "unsafe" clientele... The bottom line is, I enjoyed myself very much, whether I was at the stage, standing somewhere on the floor, sitting at the bar, at a table, or in a dance booth. Most places I've been, whether in various spots in California, Salt Lake City, or Las Vegas, don't serve drinks if it's a nude club, and only one other place I've been to had full-contact lap dances in my experience (and didn't serve drinks). It's very nice to be able to see everything there is, buy drinks, buy girls drinks (and not at $25/pop like at the Diamond Lounge in the Block...), and get full-contact dances. It does have one of those guys to squirt a bit of soap on your hands in the restroom, which always pisses me off... but I don't take it out on them, and tip a buck. And he had an assortment of snacks and doodads you could help yourself to in there, so it was alright. read more

Came here last night for my Bachelor Party.... I'll be honest I've never been a fan of strip clubs. Their usually dark, dingy and kind of grimy. But Scores has completely reprogrammed my bias. In fact, I can't wait to come back here... Sure you got the typical door guy thing where they place some big dude in front of your face to intimidate and give you this whole shtick about how your not being on the "list" and what not... This was my experience at least. But once you get past the B.S. and walk in... its quite nice. Scores has excellent lighting and its clean. Let me repeat -- it's CLEAN. This is already a huge step up from your typical strip club. I like the employees here too... from the wait staff to the security. But the thing that really makes Scores excel is the plethora of beautiful women they have working here. The place also does at good job (at least from my one visit) at keeping thug vermin out... you know the kinds of stinky, stupid, illegitimate gangsters that tend to fester in places like the cockroaches they are. Keeping these low-balls out is a very good thing. Scores is definitely expensive though... there's no denying it. We paid like $250 for every bottle of alcohol we consumed. The lap dances are $30 and the table dances are $20, each of which only last one song. With tips, a guy can very easily drop a few hundreds bucks here in an hour, possible more. But honestly I didn't mind it because there's a constant stream of beautiful ladies surrounding you. There are also two poles in the room so you are always close to a show no matter where your sitting. And these girls are in shape and damn talented. Most are very friendly too. In all, this is probably one of the best strip club in Baltimore IMO. Sure you feel like a human ATM machine during your stay. And yes the ATM machine in the club itself, charges a whopping $10 fee for every withdrawal (so bring lots of cash with you). But again, the bathrooms are clean, the floors are clean, the tables are clean and the girls are clean. What more can you really ask for? Plus they valet!! Besides the ridiculous $10 withdrawal fee, my only other major gripe with Scores is that the guys at the door never bothered to tell us about the various PACKAGES they offer (Rockstar, Ultimate, Birthday). We would have done these things but we were never told about them. Plus the "bookie" my noble best man booked our package with never emailed the club to tell them about our party. That kind of pissed me off because its not professional. But hey, these are minor issues. The important thing is that Scores stands head and shoulders above the competition. I usually dont write too many reviews but figured I had to with this experience, so I came up to visit and decided to check out Penthouse because a college buddy is employed by Kirkendoll Management( headquarters/executive side ) , my fellow solicitors and I left our hotel The Four Seasons and headed to the club. We get there , rather than name drop or have my buddy make a call , we decided before hand that we were gonna pay the cover to get in. The cashier was super nice and said hold on you guys are together? I think we can get you guys a table deal as long as you guys get a package , we were like this is great !! So we get in get settled and began the fun. The night was going great , drinks, pretty girls, but of course there is a reason for the three stars, a young blonde tall slim dancer sits down with us ,telling us how she just turned 21 and drives alittle ways to get here to work, ok cool no problem so far, guess the free drinks start kicking in and she proceeds to ask people at the table for some "snow" action( not her exact wording but you can figure it out), so I have some guys in the party who are government solicitors that are like hey this dancer is drunk asking people for stuff and we cant be around that stuff, we have government jobs and also I don't know where the foul scent came from but lets just say when the other ladies were sitting with us before she arrived there was no foul odor. So we started ignoring her and one of the cool dancers at our table was like yeah she is new, she came from some club in Virginia near D.C and heard she got involved with some dumb stuff thats why she is here now. At this point no one wanted to stay anymore ,so we headed back to Four Seasons, didnt wan't to bring it up that night to management because I was not trying to get anyone in trouble that night which would have made our experience at the club much worse than what it was. I spoke to one of the guys that was there and we both decided that even if we could remember her name, I would not put it in the review. I didn't even tell my buddy at the company because Chad and the other staff were so nice and accommodating, figured you guys would see this and handle it in house. I am not sure why Scores Baltimore has been getting bad reviews, but I happen to disagree. I'm also not sure why my review was removed the first time! As someone who used to bartend at a strip club, I feel like I know the ins and outs of how a place like that is run, and Scores Baltimore happens to do a great job. It's clean and classy and it's just as good for a bachelor party as it is to just go in and have a drink or watch a UFC fight. While it's not in the best part of town, they have valet that will park your car right in front of the club if you ask for it ($ extra) so you don't have to be scared to either a) walk to your car, or b) leave your car. The security in this place is top notch, even if the bouncers are sometimes on an ego trip. I personally believe that it's because they have to be on alert for drunk gropers. The drinks are pricey, but they are strong and it's a STRIP CLUB. And not one where the girls have stretch marks and bullet wounds, so that's to be expected. The cocktail waitresses are attentive, friendly and accommodating, and the dancers themselves are for the most part, very pretty. People have been commenting about how they feel "ripped off", but every time I have been to Scores, all of the friends I've been with have been very happy with the service and the atmosphere. No one has ever complained about feeling ripped off. The way I see it is, come prepared to spend money, or don't come. Also, this is NOT something that you can say at every adult entertainment establishment, but their food is delicious. I swore to myself I'd never eat at a strip club, but I have never regretted eating at Scores. The food is as good if not better than at some good Baltimore restaurants. In all, I think out of all of the strip clubs in Baltimore, this is the best one. It's definitely the most upscale and has the best looking staff, as well as good security. Came back here to watch Monday Night Football. The club was pretty empty. When asked whether I wanted a stage, table, or bar; I asked for the bar. Strangely, I was seated far from the pole and could hardly see the dancers. Perhaps, he read my mind because I was in perfect view of the TV?? I was trying to trim down my diet but I can never resist a highly rated cheesesteak. So I order a "Tony Luke" cheesesteak. This was a very disappointing experience...my sandwich was something I would expect to nuke from 7-11. I was approached by several dancers and one in particular was really friendly. I asked our server twice why there where no ladies then she referred me to a bouncer and he said " why would the lady's come upstairs if they make more downstairs." TERRIBLE. We decided on Scores to take one of my friends for her first strip club experience. Boy did we make the wrong choice. Saturday night cover was $15. High, alright.. it was Saturday. Still a bit much. Everyone elses posts say $10, did these people come on weeknights? Not sure. The doorman/security dude was nice and greeted the 4 of us and another host type guy asked us where we wanted to sit and said if we needed anything, to just ask him. The club was crowded, no seats around the "main" stage.. which is a really small area.. so we grabbed drinks on the side of the bar. The seating, imo is pretty awkward. You can't see the main stage too well from the left side. Whatever, so we got drinks. My friend paid $26 for a Long Island and a Jack & Coke. INSANE. He wasn't too happy. We asked the host dude about the tables, and of course, you can't sit there unless you buy a bottle... Maybe we should've gotten there earlier to grab better bar seats. We were about to buy their cheapest bottle (~$60) for a table but I was angry already at the prices and told my friends I thought we should leave. This place is CLEARLY just out for your money. They agreed. We went to the bar to close out the remaining tabs. I got mine... $40... um, what?! I had ONE vodka/pineapple and my boyfriend got a beer. He asked for it to be itemized and the bartender returned that receipt to us... NOT OUR DRINKS. Wtf. Not sure I've ever been to a bar and got the completely wrong tab. The bartender was either trying to rip me off or just an idiot and didn't know what she was doing. We told her, she fixed it, and then returned a $20 something tab... again, what?! Had a great birthday night at the Penthouse Club for my husband. We went on a Saturday night but there was a coupon on their website for free entry until 10pm which gave us more money to spend. We were greeted by Tyler who is just as much handsome as welcoming. We had a choice of tables and chose a prime spot with view of the main stage and the side stage. Our server Rachel was awesome. We had some family show up and she took care of us with ease even though they were short staffed. And then the ladies. Each lady took such good care of my husband and made sure he had a good time. Yes there is a cover charge on Saturday nights $20 and you can pay at the door with a credit card. This is a more upscale venue so why wouldn't there be a cover charge? One of the things I like about this place is that they welcome women. Other gentleman's clubs I've been to the women have to be escorted in by a man. Although this was an unconventional date night for me and I had just as much fun as he did. Actually, I'm lying. The thing I appreciated most about this place is that the kitchen stays open late (1:15am) and there's a shortage of late night kitchens in Baltimore. Which brings me to my next point. Yes the food is pretty good which I already knew from previous visits. Another thing I appreciate about this place is that the women are beautiful. They really do take pride in there appearance and job. plus they don't hound you for a lap dance and you don't feel like you have to constantly say "no" all night long in case you're not quite as interested in the ladies as you thought you would be. With that being said, the venue is sort of on the small side and you can view the stage from any angle so if you want to just chill out in the corner, get a few drinks, a nice meal and watch the show, it won't be frowned upon. She had her face shoved in her phone the whole time and didn't even help the bartender when she was clearly overwhelmed working by herself with a busy club (for daytime) I went there again during the night and the night time managers were very rude and full of themselves. We went last Saturday 7/1/17 for a bachelor party. I have to say the people working there are all amazingly nice from the bouncers at the door to the girls on the stage. We opted to hang out at the end of the bar and it was like our own little private corner. A special thanks to our bartender Jessica who had a great smile while she kept the drinks flowing . The bachelor had a great time and they made sure he was never lonely the whole night. We hadn't even left and our group was making plans to come back for a Christmas party.
