If you hear someone say I am going to the house it can be read in a few ways after our recent excursion. This is a review for "The House" where the spouse and I had the chance to partake on a Nasty, Paint, and Sip night. This establishment hosted the event and we got there slightly early where a guy with a big chain saying "NASTI" greeted us. Ok so you have something to spark conversation. So not Nasty with a Y but Nasti with an I. So what is the difference in "nasty" and "nasti"? Of course, I dare not ask it aloud but thoughts that pop in your head and have you wondering. He was the one putting on the event and gave us some background on some of the other cities where he had put this event on previously. I believe he said that he comes to DC at least monthly. Overall, the event was very cool and I contemplated posting the masterpiece I painted. On Yelp it might have some of you gasping. Took me a minute to get this current badge. Either way I called my painting "Dinner is Served." I hate the term gentleman's club as it is for everyone, but that is my opinion and view. The place was a bit small but perfect for the event. There were three stages, and the music was a good mix. Fun times for couples and many were there for a girl's night out what I saw. The laid back atmosphere makes this a fun place to checkout at anytime. The performers were all nice, good attitude, and most of all were putting on a show. I think many of them knew that this was more of an event than a regular night at this place. I know many are curious. Not sure how the wings are as these places supposedly have some good wings according to the documentary of these places I saw on Tubi. read more

Very solid club. Beautiful Black women that are interactive. Staff is real attentive. Venue is smaller but nice. Can get $1s from behind the bar or atm. Bottle service offered. No food unfortunately. Would recommend. read more

I like THE HOUSE but they ha:e some low life's in there trying to rob you. And they do not open early anymore at 4:00 pm like they used too. Since the Pandemic The House has been opening later at 8:00 pm. read more

Out with a group and someone suggested we go. The neighborhood is sketch and parking is scarce, but we had a really good time. The outside doesn't look like much, but once inside it's a hidden gem. The dancers and bartenders were really friendly. The dancers were lovely and talented. The music was great. It's one of the better adult entertainment venues in the area. I would definitely recommend for a bachelor party or if a group of guys are out partying. read more

The front door was inciting, all of the ladies were extremely friendly, beautiful and talented. Definitely will be back,

This place was a big hit I went in it's a 40 dollar cover charge but it was worth evary penny. Beautiful women and respectful bouncers. The music was really good. Drinks was good and hookah is served here. I will more then likely be back read more

I used to dance at the PENTHOUSE I am now 61 years old and we made bank and had lots of fun. The building looks exactly like it did 40 years ago. From some of the descriptions it may be managed by the owner's son or grandson or maybe even his daughter. I started dancing when I was 20 years old and I was one of the best if I must say so myself !! I was a performer and I could really dance. At that time we were not getting all the cosmetic surgery and/or shots. We worked with what we had!! I enjoyed stripping and most of the women I worked with did too. That is not a profession you stay in for 19 years and don't like it. Stipper4Life read more

Everything was OUTSTANDING. The food, service, ambiance, the staff, the ladies, the customers, the bouncer. The prices was just right. No hanging crowd the club. Very nice time. read more

Have lived in DC all 29 years of my life and figured I'd finally give "The House" a chance. I went on a Saturday night, and it wasn't that crowded. Location isn't the greatest. Parking is even worse. The neighborhood would scare plenty. These were all reasons I never gave this place a shot but to my surprise, this place is a HIDDEN GEM! Cover is $20 for men and women. Normal pricing for most strip clubs in the area. Once you walk in, you are immediately pushed to the bar to buy a drink. This is a supposed "House Standard". I don't even drink, but $14 for a drink seemed pretty high to me. On to the good stuff. There are some very good dancers here with great music. There are 3 stages here and there is always someone on each. The girls are good dancers with GREAT bodies all over. There is a chick for everyone. Big Ass, they have it. Big boobs, they have that too. A little on the heavy side, they have you covered. Small and petite, check. Big ass and big boobs/BARBIE body. THEY HAVE IT! Women do not press you out for dances. There are plenty of seats. Several sofas with plenty of women walking around. Mostly down south music. All in all it was a GREAT night. I'll definitely be going back, but I am not buying a drink. read more

In the great words of Bubba Sparxxx: "Booty, booty, booty, booty rockin' everywhere." If you are looking for some "p-poppin' in a handstand" action, you can find it here. The ladies even lay their own blankets on stage when it's their turn to work the floor. Classy. It's a little bit like BET Uncut in the flesh...literally. read more

My husband and I were in town on vacation and happened upon this place because Stadium was closed. We had a ball! The girls were interactive and were really good. The $15 margarita is a little pricey but it is soooo worth it!!! The bouncers were cool. The bartenders were cool. Everything was good. I deducted a star because it's pretty small and scruffy looking, and also there's no food. And they close at 2. We saw some reviews of people questioning the area but we're from a small city in southeast TN and we felt safe. It's in regular DC, not a tourist area, not the hood. We liked it so much we ended up trying Stadium another night but only stayed for about 20 minutes before we left to come here again. read more

I'm in heaven everytime I go to this place. The girls there are sexy as hell and they leave nothing covered. The drinks are priced about right and are strong, so be careful if you are not a heavy drinker. One of the best Strip joints in D.C. read more

I love The House. Mondays are amateur night (Fantastic!), Tuesdays old school music. Fridays and Saturdays get WILD!! The DJ and MC definitely keep the crowd entertained as do the ladies. For those who are light weight drinkers like myself, the drinks are strong here. Don't over do it. :-) So if you are really in to skinny and/or White girls, House is not for you - if you have other tastes, then be sure to partake. It has a bit of a more relaxed feel than a lof of strip clubs. You feel more like your with friends than some creepy person staring at women with a whole bunch of other creepy people. LOL Usually, you can find street parking I bring out of towners here, and they love it. One negative - the bathroom (at least the ladies' room), has a lot to be desired. I definitely recommend bringing your own hand sanitizer. read more

Beautiful black women with beautiful bodies lol I'm from NYC, came here for Labor Day weekend and a friend's birthday. I felt like I was in a rap video lol. The place was clean, but not too pretentious. I saw more female onlookers than I expected and the male onlookers didn't try to hassle you. Cover was only $10, drinks were cheap. The best part was going in the back room for a lap dance. "I'm in love with a stripper," named Treasure. That is all :) read more

You know, this used to be one of my favorite lil spots to hang out at and just be one of the fellas at. But every since they did all their "renovations" they have become this wannabe Magic City, fake bougie type of spot...helllloooo, this is a strip club not a gentleman's club. First off, they've always been pushy when it comes to making you buy drinks, but now when you walk in, its like you are grabbed by the arm and escorted to the bar...damn can I find a seat first or maybe I don't want to stay. And I don't know why so many ppl are saying that the drinks are strong, I'm almost certain that they water down the drinks and they are hella expensive....$10 for a rum & coke....really??? But one thing that hasn't changed is the girls...they are still top notch and the most naturally (which is BIG in my book) sexy and beautiful women around. Although with there being sooooo many females in the crowd now, you almost feel like you in a club for women, that's kinda strange but no biggie. read more

Me and my husband went for my birthday and we loved it! The atmosphere was great the drinks were good and the girls were amazing. I can't wait to go back read more

Tara was on point when she said.... "It's a little bit like BET Uncut in the flesh...literally." AND... "Booty, booty, booty, booty rockin' everywhere." I can't say I'm a strip club frequenter, so what do I know. But I totally thought my experience was way X-Rated. I expected something a little more.... how do you say.... less revealing. This place literally has no limits. I walked in and immediately knew that this was gonna be a very interesting evening being that the only open seats were right in front of the table that the ladies were sprawled out on. If I could, I would have ran out the door but my friends wanted to stay and so I couldn't be the party pooper of the night. Let's just say the night got even wilder. With this being said, I'm sure you could understand my desperate need of cocktails the entire night. A splash of cranberry juice in my vodka please! And kudos to the bartender for making my drink as clear as ever, could barely see the juice! The floors are a little sticky. And sometimes it can be a little unpleasantly warm. So... if you appreciate booty, this is DEFINITELY the place for you. read more

I had a great time. I went on a Saturday. Contrary to prior reviews (many of which seem outdated and very old), the club now has four stripper poles. The dancers were very friendly and attractive. I was very impressed with the effort and quality of their dancing (some places, the women are just... lazy). The club is mostly women of color. Similarly, the music is mostly rap, trap, etc. Really hype. Also has hookah. Cover was $20 despite saying $10 on the website, but that might have been because we were women and arrived fairly late (12:30AM). Club is 18+. read more

The place is nice and the girls are ok. I really love the atmosphere inside. Girls should be available for sex

Its not a strip club if there's no pole. Not too fond of women sprawled out on baby blankets shaking their cooch in my face. It takes a bit more for me to be entertained. If you're looking for a classy spot with talented ladies who actually dance, this isn't the place for you. read more

Staff wasn't friendly. Girls were real hit or miss in terms of looks and dancing. $10 to get in and 2 drink minimum. $20 to go upstairs then another $20 for a dance. Would never go back. read more

I was a visitor from out of town, and went to The House this past Wednesday for the first time, and mannnn I had a great time. The talent is very friendly, sexy, and we're all on point. The booty was unbelievable. The girls give great dances and put on a great show. I would def come back in the near future... read more

They lied about their price .. wasted gas and time going up to this place I called before I went to the house to confirm the cover fee because I want to spend it on the stroppers . The girl said its 10$ cover once I get there before I even stepped into the place it looked Rachet .. So the lady said 20 I told her I called some lady told me 10$ she said well it's 20 Each person. so me and my friend left . My friend told me they tricked you and I told you. I said you are right . I won't be coming back .. I stay away read more

Absolutely love this place! My boyfriend and I come here all the time. It's great for couples and the girls show a lot of love.

Better than it use to be especially after the renovations but it's still the old Penthouse underneath. Owner finally invested in updating most of the place but it looks like they kept the same old chairs with the torn seats? For that area of town that's about as good as it will get. It's prices after happy hour are high but I guess they need to pay for the lasers and fog machines they have now. The girls are still good, and if you can't afford going to the Stadium drop in the House for a scaled down version where the regulars are the celebs. Finding parking in the area might be a challenge and you may have to try a side street, but look out for the residential parking only signs. I don't know if they enforce it but better safe than sorry. The Ave has stepped up it's businesses over the years but it's still NW DC so don't get yo drunk happy ass robbed. LOL read more

The Penthouse is a luxurious palace filled with girating beautiful big butt-ed women. So full of win, that I'd give it 6 stars.

What a sexy place, the gals their are just as sexy. I went on my B~Day and had a blast of fun. I never seen so many pole tricks.

The House can be summed up with 6 words- Big booty girls and baby blankets. That's what you're going to get here. No poles. No bars. No cages. Just a stage they lay their own blankets on when it's their turn to shake it up for the crowd. And shoutouts to the 2 drink minimum! It's chill and laid back but if you're looking for a mind blowing strip club this is not the place for you. read more

This place is suppose to be the next and upgrade of FUEGO! But it's not! They want us to get a minimum of 2 drinks which was weak and it cost me me 8x2 =16$ not a problem if it would be worth it. The entrance was 20$ and they had low customer service, only probably 8 performances with new rules and restrictions, only one race of dancers!! Contusion: this place is cheap and not the new FUEGO! Don't come here and save money if it was this or another place, picked another place. It would be better unless you like this kind of thing, not my comparisons to FUEGO! Mind I advice you, that they advise me that this place would be cheaper than FUEGO! NOT TRUE!!! read more

I liked it! In shape dancers but pricey drinks. My BF enjoyed himself tremendously. After all he complained he wanted to make it rain and he did at the House!! Lol! read more

The House is classic. Your neighborhood bar. Plays great turn up music and always has a standard of decent looking dancers and bartenders. The House strip bar has a couples friendly and multi cultural friendly environment. All colors come together to have drinks and enjoy Ebony women read more

Very disappointed ,One this place is so overrated,Bartender was snooty, acting like she is better then the next.. Second, 14 dollars for a long island ice tea really....7 dollars for a water read more

I love this club. I've been going for quite a while. The dancers always look good. The staff is friendly. My only criticism is, some nights there aren't that many girls on stage. One Thursday night I went there and it was about 8:15pm there was only one girl. This does not happen often though. In terms of quality I would definitely give them high marks. I hate it when a club will just throw any brod onstage. That is something this club definitely does not do. read more

I had a great time here. The place looks a lot better since the renovations but agree with another reviewer that they dropped the ball on the chairs because they are still pretty raggedy. It was a nice-sized crowd on the Friday night we went, and an equal number of women and men in attendance. IMO, the girls looked pretty good and exhibited some real talent on the pole. They are also very cool and friendly. Drinks are very expensive and the music could've been a lot better but I would definitely recommend. read more

Lol came here twice lol was cool gave me a creepy vibe but it's a stripclub full of creeps lol. I had fun though lol I don't remember much except a lot of men hovering around like dogs I'm heat I'd go back. I just went in the club a few days ago and boy have they stepped it up. The club has been renovated. It's beautiful. I did not see a lot of the old girls kiss Erica coco I did see Cashce she looks great and fetish still with all that ass..... Flashbacks... Lol . Some of the new girls are not the best on the eyes but was ok they have a few hot new girls secret who is a great lap dancer also sorry fetis.. Juicy and Mulan was hot on the pole....... I am glad the blankets are gone and the block they was dancing on.... Good look ladies..... However the waitress suck..... read more

A great place. This is a real strip club. The girls are very attractive and really dance well. All of the staff from the door, security, bar, waitresses and dancers were very friendly and helpful. They have different things all week long including 3 dollar drinks. The weekends were crowded and more hyped. Will be going again when im in the area and highly recommend this club over others in the area. This is truly a strip club. Five Stars and more read more

finally! its done being remodeled...and my goodness! darryl hit the nail on the head with this one. it looks great inside! very lavish and comfy. he bumped his head on the prices for vip...but i guess thats how he was/is feeling. all in all....he always had @ least 7z & up dancing in there....he still sticking to that mantra...so i am impressed. took him 2 years to finally get it together...but he did. now only if he could get customers to want to come back in there...cause that studio apt vibe & look he had in january would've run me out too. i heard thru the grapevine it was completed last week and i damn sure went to see just what was what 5 days ago. *cheers* read more

The House now has male dancers on Sundays for gay men. My friends and I were there last Sunday and we had a blast. The staff were so friendly and the dancers were so much fun! The music was great and the atmosphere was very upbeat. They call the Sunday night format, Rock Hard Sundays. You gotta check it out. We can't wait to go again because It sure beats the old Secrets. DC really needed something like this for the community and now we have it thanks to former DC Council member, Jim Graham! read more
