He was the one putting on the event and gave us some background on some of the other cities where he had put this event on previously. I believe he said that he comes to DC at least monthly. Overall, the event was very cool and I contemplated posting the masterpiece I painted. On Yelp it might have some of you gasping. Took me a minute to get this current badge. Either way I called my painting "Dinner is Served." I hate the term gentleman's club as it is for everyone, but that is my opinion and view. The place was a bit small but perfect for the event. There were three stages, and the music was a good mix. Fun times for couples and many were there for a girl's night out what I saw. The laid back atmosphere makes this a fun place to checkout at anytime. The performers were all nice, good attitude, and most of all were putting on a show. The bride to be had no idea, so we wanted to offer her a surprisingly spectacular time with lots of twerking and plenty of champagne. I can't speak on the booking experience because someone else did it but from what I know, it was pretty seamless. We arrived around midnight and were immediately seated. It seems like we were on a lower level with very minimal crowd. There are a number of table sections, a full bar, and 3 small stages where the dancers were. There is also plenty security standing by. We were given a corner table which seemed to give us a great view of everything. Our table included 1 bottle of moet, vodka, a couple chasers, and a bucket of ice. We felt like some celebrities lol. The vibe is very chill. It seems to be a mature crowd. We saw bachelors and couples around, merely minding their own business and enjoying the show. Some were not even paying the dancers attention, just talking and enjoying their drinks. Now the show - Firstly, the dancers were 50/50. I loved that they were from diverse backgrounds. We saw Latina, Black, and White. Also saw a variety of body shapes, from very skinny to thick. I'm not sure if there are other ethnicities or nationalities, but it was nice to see the overall diversity. Some of them appeared natural, while others clearly had some work done to their bodies that did not move when they did lol. Unfortunately, there were only a very few that could really dance. By dance, I mean not just work the poll but move sensually. One in particular was a beautiful thick latina that hardly touched the poll and could barely shake her behind. We felt bored and underwhelmed watching her. Another one that danced in front of us fell off the poll. It was hit or miss honestly. Prior to coming here, we thought it was a topless club. Please note, there is FULL nudity and not a little peek of the booty or flash of a nipple, no it is FULL nudity. At one point, we saw one dancer actually bend over in a man face then lay down an gyrate her crotch in another man's face, all with no panties on. It was a shock for someone like me, who's never been in this space before, but it was definitely entertaining. The music is also boring, so please don't carry any expectations. It was a mixture of dance and EDM music. Not what I would expect for them to really get in the groove to but the dancers did a good job of making it work. One in particular twerked her heart out, another was the most graceful on the pole and put all of them to shame. Finally in terms of service, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Be mindful, photos are not allowed at all. One of my friends attempted to take photos and the security kindly warned her to stop. I'm not even sure how they noticed in such a dark space, but don't try it. One thing I did not like or understand here, is that their kitchen closes at 10pm. After that time, the only thing available is chips and salsa and artichoke dip. For a place that caters to a late night crowd, why would you close the kitchen? It should be open late. They missed out on more money from us as a result because we all had saved an appetite to try the food. I was very disappointed. Overall, it was a good experience. I don't really have much to compare it to as I have never been to a strip club or gentlemen's club before but I enjoyed my time there and I'd recommend to others.
