The software only approved renting a two wheel tow dolly. I received a contract specifying the truck being used to tow, the rear wheel drive Fiat Spider being towed and the tow dolly. My son went to pick it up, a very unpleasant guy told us they wouldn't rent it to us because the Fiat is rear wheel drive. Anyone who does this knows you simply back the rear wheel drive car onto the dolly. I called and Unpleasant guy wouldn't even discuss it. Then he hung up on me. I just found out Unpleasant Guy is the manager. Do yourself a favor and rent from the Danvers Location. It's right up the road. Less traffic, nicer place and the manager Anthony, is excellent.

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to move now but no solution or offer was made to help. They explained that it was an IT error....and a HUGE one at that. We started off by getting a great rate on the truck: they were able to beat what Budget was quoting me by about $150. Then, when we decided at the last minute to leave a day earlier than planned, they changed my reservation for no fee and had a truck ready for me that very afternoon. We showed up, and the truck was fairly new (only about 37,000 miles when we picked it up), in great condition, comfortable, ice cold A/C, etc. The guys at the pick-up location were friendly and helpful, and had us out the door in just a few minutes. We had absolutely no problems with the truck on the ride down, and drop-off was a piece of cake. All that to say: I am never going back to Uhaul! Keep up the good work, Penske!

It has now been over a month with no response. I followed up multiple times with both the interviewer and recruiter and was either ignored or left without any update. Regardless of the outcome, candidates deserve basic communication and closure after investing their time in an interview process. The lack of follow-up here was disappointing and unprofessional. Based on this experience, I would caution others to carefully consider this company--not just as an employer, but when deciding whether to use their services. Communication and accountability matter.

This location of Stor-U-Self has great reviews and is not far from my house, so I booked a unit online. Right away I got a call from Dennis, introducing himself, thanking me for signing up, and asking did I need any advice. Very friendly professional vibe. A day later my husband told me that a location closer to my mother's house would serve us better, since we would need to make many round trips to drop off the items. I called Dennis and I was wondering if he would take a cancelation fee from me. He was as helpful as could be, and said he would refund all my money and I should expect to get a receipt in my inbox to that effect. And so I did. I had my refund the same day, and he wished us well in our endeavor. Super professional and ethical. Great service and friendly!!

I rented the truck for one-day a few days ago. When I arrived, Joe (the guy who claimed himself to be the manager) asked me to park in the parking lot. He later asked me to move the car to an off-street parking spot in a very rude manner. Additionally, he forced me to buy the insurance, which is $75 per day, and threatened me if I don't buy the insurance, I won't be able to pick up the truck, even though I have my own insurance. When I asked why there are three different packages online but he only mentioned the $75 per day package, he gave me a lesson, yelled at me, and claimed that all the information we have is wrong and we're uneducated. My wife who was there with me and who is also visibly pregnant felt threaten by him. He also said he is the the manager of the place & hinted that there is no one we can report to. Worst place and stay away!
