When I initially called, Cesar wasn't sure they had anything available, and after hearing our story, couldn't believe it, and said there may be one van left. He wasn't even in the office at the time, but when he confirmed that there was a van left, he went into the office to meet us. When i tell you that this man saved our vacation I am not lying, he also saved us money too, the other place was almost double what Bargain Rent A Car charges. We can not thank him enough, and if we ever need a rental again, we will be calling Bargain Rent A Car.

We dropped the truck off on the same day as pick up, about 40 minutes prior to the time we had set at pick up. A man met us outside and took the keys from us. A few days later, I received an updated receipt with an additional $65 in fees. I reviewed the invoice and realized that I was charged for 2 full days of rental and insurance. I called to question the charge and a man named Anderson answered, he was rather rude and said that his co-worker didn't receive the truck and keys until more than 24 hours after I actually dropped it off and turned in the keys so I was charged for an extra day. I disputed this and asked Anderson to pull video if they had surveillance cameras as I knew that would show when the truck and keys were returned. He asked to call me back. He called back less than 2 minutes later and said it was a mistake and he would refund me the difference. I received another updated invoice a few minutes later showing that I was charged the incorrect amount again. I contacted Anderson again and he said he fixed it. I received an email for a receipt showing a refund a few minutes later. It will be a week tomorrow and I'm still waiting to receive my refund. I won't rent from this location again and would caution anyone considering using their trucks.

We booked a U-Haul not one, not two but three weeks out. The night before our move we were rudely and unexpectedly told that our u-haul was not available. They rescheduled a different u-haul almost a whopping 45 minutes further away and told us our truck was not available till four hours past our original scheduled pick up time . As we were driving to this location we received a phone call stating that our truck was not available because it "broke down". Once again u-haul moved our pick up location almost halfway across the state. On our way to this location we got another phone call from (you guessed it) U-Haul saying this truck also broke down (pesky potholes). At this point they refused to give us any sort of credit and hung up the phone four times during this exchange. They attempted to reschedule us for a fourth time but like all smart coaches we punted on 4th and 40. If you would like any sort of competency, communication, or respect I would highly recommend booking a truck with Penske.

They were supposed to come at 10. At 11, the receptionist texted me and asked me if they were there yet. I replied that they weren't and she said she would check in with them. After a number of texts and calls to them over the course of two hours, they finally responded that there was an "emergency" and that they are forced to "cancel" the job. They said they were on the phone the whole time (3 hours??) trying to deal with the worker's emergency. It's unprofessional that the receptionist wouldn't return my calls and texted me back that they were canceling the job. She still hasn't responded to my last text message. When my u-haul box was loaded in California, the company I used for that side of the move was incredibly communicative and let me know when there was a delay at the u-haul center in getting the u-haul box. This is how customer service SHOULD work. I already prepaid and will probably have to spend hours on the phone with u-haul trying to get my money back from them and figuring out another company to deliver my ubox, and possibly might be charged for another month of storage at u-haul.

All our items were moved undamaged and put exactly where we asked them to be. The personal service was impeccable as the owner, Alex, was very communicative each step of the way, even at "off-hours" and was personally on-site whenever there was activity. The owner accepted any task we asked of him without making us feel as though we were inconveniencing him or his crew. They even happily mounted a TV on a wall of one of our offices.
