I felt happy with the selection of shirts, pants, dresses, skirts, outerwear, etcetera. The prices ranged from low to high. I particularly liked the styles of Calvin Klein dresses. I, however, ended up picking out only a blouse that was on clearance for just $10. At the cash register, I had to wait a few minutes while other customers were being served. The cashier spoke very nicely with me, greeting me and wishing me a good day. She made no mistakes with the transaction. I was asked to donate my rounded-up change to the Hispanic Federation charity, which appears to do good work but, based on your political views, you might want to look up before donating.

I stopped in for cosmetics and he was one of very few employees working today. He is typically working in the fragrance section near (Kate Spade and Chanel). When he was called to assist me, that was the best thing the other passing employee did for me. He went to work and took his time to help me find a product I needed. He even provided some tips of the trade he learned along the way from his previous job experiences; helping me to make some selections backed by science that could potentially improve the outcomes I was seeking for the future. They get people through lines fairly quickly, seem generally knowledgeable about products and when there is an issue, a manager generally comes fairly quickly. The drive up is always wonderful. Staff is always courteous and efficient. The one time I did experience a longer than expected wait, someone came over to the car and said they had a high volume of cars at the time (which they did) and they apologized for the delay. This was a nice touch so I didn't have to worry or wonder what was going on. That being said, they could do a better job of maintaining the overall neatness and cleanliness of the store. And keep the shelves better stocked. The worst, though, is the bathrooms. They always seem to be a hot mess.

I've been to Big Lots with my wife so often these last few months I have write a review. Were…read morebuilding a new deck for our house so we have been researching patio furniture, decorations, and grills at Big Lots and other stores. We get a lot of different stuff here on a weekly or bi weekly basis. My favorite is when we can find different mustards, gourmet coffees, Oreo cookies (For me) and a lot of items that if you can find it here they usually are a good price. We recently purchased a grill, patio pillows, an umbrella stand, and a 48 inch round table for our new deck. We waited to make these big purchases when they had their friends and family discount weekend. My wife belongs to their rewards club so she gets emails all the time for these sales and great coupons. We saved over $80 on this weekend! It's a big store and I think the workers are helpful too. There are other stores in the area like big lots where the employees aren't too happy and aren't' helpful. They are helpful at this Big Lots We couldn't fit our 48 inch table into our car so we had to tie it to the roof. The worker who was helping us got us some twine but I end up just using rope that I had in my car. The worker went back inside but if I needed more help I'm sure he would have helped more. Overall I really like this Big Lots and if you don't go to Big Lots check it out. Compare what you buy at your regular grocery store or (Target). It takes a little more work but you will save money!

For food you have Burgatory, Dee's, Moe's, Jersey Mikes, Starbucks, Millies and First Watch. There is a great nail salon, a store that sells high end crafted items and a liquor store. There are even fitness related businesses (pilates and barre). The parking, though, seems to have been designed to support a lot less traffic than what comes through the plaza. It is always a mad house and a dash to find parking spaces. And you feel like you are putting your life at risk if you try to cross the parking lot on foot. It has gotten a little better since the opened the space between McDonalds and the plaza (easier access to the traffic signals to get to 22). But it is hard to get into and out of, especially if you need to make a left.

Tailored more toward past generations, JCP is very outdated and losing steam. On this visit, every register except one was closed and the majority of fitting rooms were closed too. They still wisely stock and centrally locate Pittsburgh gear, but honestly the pricing isn't very competitive. Department stores used to prey on mall shoppers and credit card holders to be loyal, but the modern day consumer can quickly scan a tag and see that the prices are all inflated. It is bright and clean on the inside. Not like those stores that have shrunk in their own footprint. I honestly cannot remember what I came in here for once I stepped inside. I got distracted and lost within the store. I looked around for a good time and noticed it was getting closer to closing time and hurried myself along. I stopped in every section before I made my way to the front of the store. When at the register I appreciate that they pay attention to what you buy and sometimes make a comment on an item. Then they always attempt to get you to apply for a credit card. I know it's a pitch and part of your job, but I don't need to answer this question all the time.

I find myself often going through the polo shirts and finding another I "cannot live without" so that I can walk around and see others wearing the same shirt. I like that this location has a pretty quickly moving self-checkout and there are folks who are helpful.

Very little national stores left here now. There are more empty stores than ever before. Sad. There are a few good stores left including, Macys, Dick's Sporting Goods, JC Penny's, Kay Jewelers Hallmark, Cinemark Theater & Red Robin. Dime deals can be found but not always. Service is average at best in most of the surviving stores. The video game arcade has a Zombie Laser Tag which is a fun place to have kids birthday parties. The mall was recently purchased by Walmart and is due to be demolished in 2027 so it's fair to say that it's in a state of limbo now. We shall see how this works out.

My husband told me that we have previously shopped at Monroeville Mall, but I do not see a previous review from me about it. Recently, we visited this mall to shop in the stores. I had a list of stores that I wanted to visit, but when we walked around the mall, I did not see all of the stores. Perhaps those stores went out of business, and the mall did not update its website? The mall did have some vacant storefronts. I think that it is a "just OK" mall at best. My favorites stores here were Macy's and American Eagle. In addition to dozens of stores, some of which are locally owned and sometimes sell unique merchandise, other major businesses here include JCPenney, Dick's Sporting Goods, a movie theater, and some restaurants in the food court and outside.

Sometimes the selection of clothing is wonderful, well organized and a large inventory. Other times everything seems to be a disorganizes mess with stuff no one would really ever want to wear. They have TONS of check out lines but there are usually not very many that are staffed. There was one time that I shopped that they made everyone use the self check outs even though there seemed to be plenty of staff around. It is one of the closer locations and is generally clean overall, so it is typically the one I visit the most, but it definitely has room for improvement.
