Princess Lingerie Boutique - Baboushka by Prima Donna

Unfortunately, that other store has since closed and I finally needed to look for a new store. I chose Princess Lingerie because it's in Riverbend, which is close to where I live. It's a great location because it's easy to get to, lots of parking, and not a crazy mall or downtown store. The day I went to the store to try on bras, there was only one representative on duty. She was very nice and helpful, but I did have to wait about 10 minutes for her to finish with a previous client. One customer rep seems like not enough in that type of store since every customer needs personal attention. But other than the waiting, my experience was wonderful. I found 4 bras I liked and definitely spent way too much money!

I waited patiently and once her transaction with customer was over she spoke with me. I expressed I was there for bra fitting and purchasing a bra. She did not measure me but brought a 2X bra to try on. I am a senior larger woman. It was more like a T Shirt bra. In the end the soft bra was ok. Not complaining about product. However her reception was unresponsive and condescending. I felt like I was interrupting her day. It was like she couldn't get me out of there fast enough. Wouldn't go back never. Very unpleasant interaction.

As this is a high end boutique, don't expect to get a 5 for $20 deal. Instead you'll come away wearing a bra that actually fits (and lasts), makes you look and feel amazing and compliments your taste regardless of your chest size and shape. They have everything from everyday bras to fancy frillies, which also include matching underwear. What lingerie store would be complete without lounge and leisure wear? Night Owl Imports has these as well as bridal, baby dolls, undergarment accessories, peignoirs and nightgowns and boudoir apparel. Night Owl Imports hasn't forgotten about the men and offers a nice selection of mens undergarments and lounge/leisure wear too. Night Owl Imports does not regularly have sales or mark down inventory but has a store wide sale each August. The deals are good and I recommend getting there early, especially if you wear a bra size outside of a 36C. Honestly, go to Night Owl Imports and get a bra that fits, is pretty and makes you feel great.

This store specializes in products and services for women who want a prosthesis, undergarments,…read morebathing suits or mastectomy supplies. They carry all sizes for all types of surgeries and their bras are specially made for silicone breasts. This more than a bra shop, it's a health care boutique with personalized and caring service from people who are certified "breast form fitters." I didn't realize you could get certified in such a thing, but it's wonderful that women have a place to go to get supportive and feminine post-mastectomy bras. These bras are unlike ordinary ones. They have pockets to help the skin breathe, and they offer more support. They come in all sizes from 32AA TO 48DD, and custom alterations are available. The place is small and nicely laid out, comfortable and unintimidating. There's a full line of swimsuits and private fitting rooms. Appointments are recommended so you can receive the best service possible. For more information before making the trip visit http://www.strathconahealth.com/gy.htm. This place comes highly recommended by health agencies.

Mom had to order another prosthesis and come back to pick it up and this time spoke to an employee stating have un-professional the service was stating to her "to wait until they finish their lunch." Not only did the employee NOT apologise, she defended the statement stating that they have "unscheduled" lunch breaks. Please avoid this business at all costs. Best retribution is just take your business elsewhere. It is obvious by their actions that they do not care about their customers.

Underwhelmed with my experience, not sure I'd go back. Wish I'd read the Yelp reviews first, the…read morecritiques are true. Honestly if you have average sized boobs and no particularly unique boulder-holder needs, you're better off going bra shopping at the mall. Booked a bra fitting. The fitting by Dawn herself was nothing special. She didn't size me any differently than what I thought was a good size. Neither did she take measurements (probably pointless cuz even 'high end' bras vary) or ask about preferences or lifestyle. She did exactly what any kid working at La Senza or Victoria's Secret would do, bring a bunch of different bras to try in my size range. No great insights were offered as to what style might suit my body shape. Lots of offers to alter bras that don't fit well... why? I mostly spent a lot of time standing in a change room awkwardly in a state of half undress waiting for bra straps to be adjusted. At least at another store I could just go out and help myself instead of standing around waiting while Dawn assisted others, went for a smoke etc. I have only one concern, a latex allergy. The first bras Dawn brought were heavily laced, not really my style but also prone to containing latex. As I stood awkwardly waiting in these "size tester" bras, I could feel the telltale allergy itch starting. I told her right away and to my surprise, Dawn did not know which of her bras might have latex. Sure, neither would the girl at the mall store, but this is ostensibly a speciality shop serving individuals with special requirements. Latex allergy is not uncommon at all. Disappointing. And yes, I got a rash from that bra, fun. Guess the girls are taking the rest off the day off! The store itself just feels cold and unfriendly. For bra fittings, one must wear a mask. I totally get it, small space etc, but at the same time, is Dawn washing her hands between each customer? After she comes back from smoking? During my visit, she was fitting three people at one time, going room to room poking at underwires and armpits. Does she take the same level of precaution with hand cleanliness, which is just as (if not more) important as respiratory hygiene? It wouldn't bother me as much save for the literal plastic sheet curtain all the way around the front counter, which makes the place feel like an iso room or the back room of a butcher. Totally pretentious and unnecessary, and just performative at this point. Meh. Expensive bras. We'll see if the two I bought ($175) are any more special than those I would buy from a chain store. My experience at this boutique store certainly wasn't.

I purchased two bra's on October 4th, one was a new color and I was advised I would have to wait 2 - 3 weeks for it to come in. Two MONTHS later I call asking where it is. I was then told as it was a new color it would take longer to arrive. Funny enough, 2 weeks after calling the bra came in. I asked Dawn if she could simply mail it to me as I had waited so long and her store hours are odd. Absolutely not, I would be charged the $14 for the mailing envelope. After 18 years I am so done with this store and will not be back. A little customer service goes a long ways ladies.
