I brought this to the attention of the associate present (3135575) And she presented a cavalier attitude about the cleanliness of the store. I asked the associate if she could get a clean one from the back while I was at the till. She went and grabbed the wrong shirt from the back. Now, not only did I receive a rude, unprofessional experience, I will now have to go back to this store to get an exchange for the wrong product. Finding a staff member on the floor is impossible. My wife was looking for a certain size of jeans and you would think when a staff member sees you digging through shelves, it's time to ask us if we need assistance. Not the case. We looked around to see if someone was near by. Nope. Lastly, even though the store is the same layout there are flaws. There's a hidden area in the kids dept that goes nowhere. I'm confused by that choice. The selection right now is bleak but I suspect once the store gets humming and they have some metrics the stock will increase. So before anyone craps on this place give it time. It will be better soon enough. Just be grateful that we finally got old navy in shpk.

The store was kind of messy, perhaps it was because it was a weekend. I also found it difficult to find what items were actually on sale. There was a rack of pants that said 50% off. I grabbed a pair and set out to double check the price. I found someone and she asked where I had found it. She said only the marked pants were on sale. I went through the 17 pairs of pants and found 3 that were on sale. I was finally able to find a pair of pants on sale and also picked up 2 tank tops. Not in a hurry to go back.

I had an…read moreexchange 2 months past the purchase date and drove 3 hours to the closest H&M to exchange (which I was purchasing quite a lot over the $ value of the return). She kept insisting it was her decision to decline the exchange, although the receipt clearly states store credit or exchange past 30 days. I wasn't mad until she decided to answer the phone whilst I was explaining I already knew the terms of returns and exchanges. If the area team reads this message, I strongly recommend you connect with her on how to appropriately address customer complaints and maybe let her read the back of the receipt so she knows what hill to make a stand on. Absolutely abhorrent service.

Apparently they do, and my friend and I went to the H&M in West Ed because we figured the store and selection would be better than South Common. There isn't a huge selection of plus size clothes, but there is a bit, and H&M always has nice basics and trendy pieces too. One thing I love about H&M, no matter what dress size you might be, is the accessories. There are a lot of fun jewellery, purses, scarves, etc and the prices being pretty low it's pretty easy to go overboard and buy quite a bit. Of course the prices being so low this isn't exactly high quality long lasting items, but I tend to break, lose, rip, tear, etc. any accessories I get anyway so spending $12 on a scarf that I'll eventually lose at H&M seems better than spending $100 for a high-end scarf somewhere else. Aside from clothes and accessories the other thing H&M has that I didn't realize they carried are home decor products. This section isn't as big as the regular clothing and accessory section, but there are a variety of fun home decor items you can get, from bedspreads to aprons. West Ed isn't a place I particualrly like to go to, but if I'm here I'll check out H&M again.

I've loved her since the 80's and I never believed I would find something of hers that would come in my size. Yoink! Yes, it has skulls. And pink, But I love it anyway. The clothes are roomy and comfortable, and I fit a size smaller than I'm accustomed to. The prices are a little high for my liking, but with the Betsy Johnson I expected that. I joined their program because the inner goth is hoping for another Betsy Johnson, and I need to check out what else they have when I can think rationally. The coupons were a nice plus.

So every time I go to WEM I stop in and see what's new on the racks. Turns out my friends and my mom and sisters also love this place. If you are even the slightest bit curvy you will find clothes that fit and are tasteful and you'll feel beautiful. The staff are great too! I fell in love with a long sleeve top with flamingoes on it and bought it! I love that I can usually find my size (that isn't sold out) and just beautifully made clothes for a decent price. I am always impressed at how busy this place is too. I will continue to come back and see what this place has to offer as the seasons change.

I had a chance to run in here last month while my daughter was at ski lessons and what a treat! Books were on clearance for $1 that day! YES - $1 books! Came home with a giant bag filled with books to overfill our already filled bookshelves! But hey, since when could one have too many books? Once Upon a Child is HANDS DOWN the best consignment store chain for used children's clothing and accessories. I've frequented them in Edmonton for several years now and even visited one in Saskatoon! You can drop off your gently used clothing and toys to trade in for store credit if you'd like as well. They offer a frequent purchaser stamp card to earn discounts and usually have coupons in the SUTP coupon book. They are on facebook and have an e-mail list if you would like advance notice for upcoming sales and specials! They also carry new items like Melissa & Doug at prices below what you would find at Toys R Us. Once Upon A Child is most definitely a dream come true for frugal shoppers who know that a baby outfit may get worn once or not at all!

I over heard other customers given the same bit of info without disclosing the better deals. Maybe it is just how their corporate wants to promote? Unlike other locations that sell a good mix of Simons brands like Twik and other popular brands, the women's clothing section in this location is at least 90% house brands. I tend to steer away from these as the quality tends to be lower and not as good value for the price. The men's section seems to have a better mix. If this is an issue for you, the West Ed location is much better. On a positive note, the service is always great. The staff here are friendly and helpful. The store is always quiet and clean.
