He never once followed through on anything, and he accused me of being the problem. He accused me of stealing the wheelchair that I bought on their demand, and claimed he had video evidence. I'm sure he did see me take the wheelchair out with my mother, but that's not evidence that I stole the chair. They did return the money after I called them out 2 weeks after they stole our money. I'm still going to have to go to small claims court for the services that they documented that they didn't do. If you love the person you are caring for, then DON'T GO HERE!

Long story short, she was sent home, but had a few strange episodes and was in a lot of pain, and returned for about another week of care. We met several of her nurses and were impressed with their bedside manners. They really took good care of my MIL. The hospital is easy to navigate and has a terrific parking structure within walking distance. And a Starbucks open until midnight during the week. Overall, a great experience for a terrifying situation.

I have had a CPAP machine before and the most important part is getting the right mask. I was shown masks that were "upgraded" with memory foam and was told that the mask I would get would be similar. It was not. Why am I shown a mask I can not get? Also, they had very few out that I could choose from. Obviously, the person showing me the machine and mask has never used one! With the amount of money spent on the facility, how come Banner could not have a better display and choice of masks? I felt like I was annoying the employee by asking questions. It is sad that my insurance dictates where I have to go and it seems poor customer service is the norm.

It was the second day it opened...a little over three years ago. From my apartment on the 10th floor I look east across the beautiful campus and see the McDowell Mountains and the rising sun each morning, as well as students scurrying, riding skateboards, and hurrying to class. Residents are also able to take classes tuition free and participate in many campus activities. It's an easy walk to the football and basketball facilities, and my favorite, baseball, is just four miles away. The Gammage Performance Center is an easy walk, as well as the many shops downtown. For transportation we have light rail that goes all over the Valley, just a short ride to see the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Phoenix Suns, or the Phoenix Symphony! Similar facilities are remotely located...go out the gate and see desert or a residential neighborhood. We have shops, groceries, a drug store, entertainment, and a movie theater! My one-bedroom apartment is spacious and comfortable with maintenance and cleaning included. Our computer/TV guy Trevor is one of the top five reasons to live here...get a new printer...he will make it work in no time!! Our maintenance people are prompt and pleasant for issues with appliances or repair of anything that comes up or to assist in special projects. We also have three restaurants serving a variety of new items as well as old favorites. Many ASU students work in the restaurants and our underground parking garage. None of us get into a hot car because it's all underground! Valets provide airport service and also drive those without with a car for appointments within a reasonable distance! Residents are also kept busy going all over the Valley in 15-passenger buses to varied locations. Many events and speakers are offered; it's sometimes impossible to do it all. One floor is designated as Assisted Living and another for Memory Care. So if you are thinking about moving from the big house that's heavy maintenance, don't wait until you have a fall or accident. Come here, meet new people, and join in the activities. If you have grown children, it's a great gift for us to all downsize and know there are people nearby to help as we grow older and less able to handle the burden of home ownership or living alone. When I told her I was told between 430 and 530 and not 430 and 6 o'clock. She was rude. As I said, she was rude, but Ricky was great so when I called on Monday to let management know of the situation, I spoke to Shane. He was very nice and apologetic; however, he is not the one that should've been apologizing. In fact, the call to him should never have happened .
