    Plain chicken sandwich with Swiss
    Kendra B.

The food is ok but the place it's self is not. First the food the sandwich is alright. The fries are bland...very bland. Their not so bad to the point I would not eat them. But their not good either. Now Penn Station. I want to go to the bathroom and I went to go reach for the toilet paper and there was blood all over the toilet paper. After I went to go wash my hands there was no soap in the soap dispenser it was only water. When I was walking around the floors we're really sticky too.

I am a Penn Station regular, but this is not my regular location and I am thankful of that. The store is clean and the staff is friendly enough but the sandwich I received was by far the worst chicken cordon bleu sandwich I've ever had. Actually, calling it a sandwich is misleading. It was more like greasy cheese bread LOADED with lettuce (probably to hide the lack of meat), 3 slices of Roma tomato and sprinkled with a few pieces of chicken and even fewer pieces of ham. Considering that I paid $10.19 for it and paid an additional $1.19, for extra ham I shudder to think what it would have looked like had I not ordered the extra meat. It looked like they took skimpy portions for a 6 inch sandwich and tried to stretch it out into a 12 inch. It was disappointing to say the least. I won't return to this location again. It was waste of my money.

Very good food, the customer service has taking a fall over the last few years, it's definitely one of the better sub shops.

Recommendation to use Great Northern Harvest gluten free bread instead - it holds its shape well!! However, business are making extra profits and consumers are getting RIPPED OFF!

I thought this was going to be another bad meal because most foods that I've had here weren't the best, but oh my days this was actually phenomenal. I don't want to gas this place up too much and at first the burger was kind of okay but when I ate the fries and wings... genuinely the tastes and texture just exploded in my mouth. The barbecue tested like good barbecue, there's no denying that. But the texture, it was just on another level it was so crispy and the chicken just ugh was amazing. Like I don't want to overhype this place but wow I genuinely liked it so much more than I thought. I usually don't like wings in fact I detest eating wings but this place is just genuinely so good like I cannot believe I actually really like their wings. Also being from out of state, I've had tried so many food places and their wings but oh my gosh these were genuinely the best. Next time I'm in this state I will absolutely go back here. It's also worth noting that I'm extremely picky in my choices of food and taste and I tend to just eat salads or chicken at most places but here, it's just wow! I quite literally downloaded yelp just for this because it genuinely was so good. I usually keep a lot of reviews in my journal and I'm quite critical but I think this blew my chart. Wow 10/10 I love this so much this genuinely made me my day and made me so joyous. Plus server I had, Gabriella C., was absolutely wonderful and I hope everyone who works here has an amazing day!

They cover all the bases for burgers - beef, chicken (grilled or fried) and Impossible "meat" too. Vibe & Seating: Typical airport "out at the gates" kinda vibe with travelers rushing past behind you. There's a nice long counter area with a few chairs and a couple of small tables next to the restaurant where you can sit and eat. Service Speed: (5/5!) Courteous & calm counter service that was actually rather fast for my cooked-to-order burger. Unlike some of the other reviews here, With one party ahead of me, it took just 5 minutes to receive my order of.. My order: "Black 'n Blue Chicken Stack" - (4.1/5) This is a grilled chicken breast served on a toasted brioche bun with just a hint of "blackened" seasoning, lettuce and tomato. - The chicken breast was fully cooked yet still moist to the bite. It isn't a huge burger but not tiny either - just about the right amount. They toasted the bun just right. I also asked for my blue cheese to be served separately, and they nailed it. :) low expectations here, I know... lol. Curly Fries: (5/5) A welcome surprise on my plate was a small portion of seasoned curly fries, which were totally yummy - crisp on the outside, giving way easily to the tender core. It wasn't a huge pile of fries, but again, like the burger a "right" sized amount that isn't going to make you feel like you are overeating. House Salad: According to a fellow patron, the house salad (basically a Cobb) was pretty good. It certainly looked and sounded crunchy fresh! Verdict: (4.2/5) Decent fresh fast food that is yummy and not over salted or over seasoned. This is a good choice to hit again the next time I am traveling through Termjnal 1 at STL/Lambert Airport.
