I had all my follow up appointments with Dr Kayla. She was great at explaining the way the eye heals and what to expect, especially after the first eye was done, and I was waiting for the second eye to be operated on - that was a pretty weird experience! Everyone there is very helpful and the atmosphere is calm, plenty of beverages to enjoy in the waiting room. Great selection of frames. I need to go back and order a frame with my new prescription. I've never felt like any of the chain optometry businesses got my prescriptions quite right, but I have never felt that way after an exam with Dr. Kayla.

She is incredibly personable, she's always available for me and she's great at what she does. When I first got my contacts in high school, I had a thing about touching my eyes (haha), and she was really patient with me... must have spent over two hours with me. My one and only complaint is that she doesn't take insurance! Its killing me because I really don't want to leave her practice. She's so good and I know I won't find anyone better (I'm a creature of habit- once I find something or someone that fits, I like to stick to it), but its pricey to have to pay it all out of pocket.

Contrary to some comments suggesting she is rude, I found her to be passionate about her work and highly focused on providing optimal care. She prescribed steroid eye drops, which promptly alleviated my symptoms, and I am extremely grateful. Additionally, Dr. Sepahi detected cataracts in my eyes, which was expected given my age of 67. She also updated my eyeglass prescription, which had not been revised in some time. Furthermore, Dr. Sepahi identified elevated pressure in my eyes, consistent with my experience of dryness. Utilizing their equipment, she diagnosed glaucoma in my left eye. I was given drops to use for three weeks and scheduled for a follow-up appointment. Upon my return, the pressure in both eyes had decreased significantly. I would highly recommend her !
