Because of those positive experiences I returned in April again. Preston was now the manager. At first he was very helpful. UNTIL I purchased the furniture. I was told terms of the payments that differed from the final result when signing the agreement. I let that go without much thought because overall I was happy with my purchase. Then came the delivery and there were problems from beginning to end. Preston assured me he would assist me until everything was resolved. He did not! I am STILL waiting for a refund on my delivery, as well as for someone to even think to offer compensation for the almost 2 months of aggravation I have had to deal with at this point! Preston is very polite but doesn't follow up or follow through! I have continued to leave messages and texts through his work number and I have now decided to leave this review! It's a shame because I love this store and had planned to continue to return but if this is what I have to deal with it's absolutely not worth it! As a manager he should have the ability to reach out to whoever he needs to if someone is not doing as they said they would in another department. I will never buy furniture from West Elm again, and would caution anyone from doing so.
