I wanted to get the framing done at a small, local business opposed to a big box store and was recommended to Martin's Frame and Art by a friend. I called to setup a time to discuss options and met with the owner Cindy. Cindy was super sweet and very helpful. You could tell she has been in the business for a while as she is super knowledgeable, but still has passion for making beautiful things which was lovely. I had no idea what to expect as far as cost. But she worked with me based on my budget. She did have some premade frames in the store, which is cheaper than building a frame, that I ended up being able to use on two of my three pieces. The other had to have a frame built, but she had many options of various costs to pick from. My total ended up well under what I had budgeted in my head. My order was done in just under two weeks, which was much quicker than her original estimate. I am very happy with final product. Nice clean looks and the artwork really pops in the frames we chose. She also included the materials to help with wall hanging which was nice. Cindy was very appreciative of my business and me supporting local. These pieces were very special to me and I had heard so many great things about Bull City, I knew they were the right ones to commemorate these photos. I worked with a designer (Michelle) to guide me through selecting the right mattings and frames who was fabulous. She made some great suggestions on color and texture that I would have never thought of myself! The final product was sensational! The pieces all looked fantastic and I was proud to surprise my parents and brother with two of the framed photos and keep the other four for myself :) They also did an excellent job repairing a vintage swing frame that held a photo of my grandma.
