Deborah is a phenomenal designer. I especially appreciate her eye for the perfect artwork to really 'make' a room pop! The bedding and window treatments I've purchased from her are some of my favorite items. She recently found the perfect living room sofa and two chairs that I absolutely LOVE! In the past, I've made many mistakes buying items on my own - the furniture was too large or small for a room, the expensive piece I bought was too large/wide to fit on the mantle, the paint color I thought was beige turned out to have a pink tint, etc. Everything Deborah has suggested and/or found for us has been perfect! We called Transforming Rooms after making a few mistakes on our own. Before calling them we had purchased both online and from local furniture stores - and couldn't get the size or comfort right. Transforming Rooms made the selection process much easier. They brought two choices, with two price points, which made it simple for us to choose the quality we preferred. The surprising thing was, even the lower priced items were nice quality and were often our favorites. Deborah and her crew are truly enjoyable to work with, and very knowledgeable. We needed that after long work days & busy lives with kids activities. She found us tables, rugs, art, lamps and furniture in styles we probably would not have picked on our own, but we love them! She knows just when to expand on our wishes and open our eyes to unique items that are not a basic "furniture store look". For our sofa, it was nice to spend 10 minutes to approve the comfort and fabric, instead of a full weekend day searching on our own. Large furniture stores can be overwhelming by size and numerous choices. It was amazing how well she can visualize the finished look.
