The staff acknowledged that the Udi's was "quite an upcharge", which is an understatement. A 5-pack of Udi's gf bagels in Shaws (a Maine supermarket) is about $7.50. For $12, I could have bought a pack of Udi's, a stick of butter, and at least one fresh bakery bagel from a grocery store or local baker... and not been asked to tip the counter staff 20%

So when I was in Bar Harbor, I had gone to a few places every morning and none of them were as great as this place. It's super close to downtown and all the tourist shops. It was fragrant, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Easily my favorite part of the visit. I also had the BLT sandwich and the smoked salmon tartine. Both were delicious. You could tell the same ingredients (pickles, veggies, capers) were used across multiple items, but it still worked well and tasted fresh. Lastly, I ordered the Dutch baby pancake. The presentation was lovely, and it was freshly made, but the flavor was just okay, I've had better. The overall experience was really fun.
