The receptionist at Bourbon plumbing was pleasant enough, but when I asked if somebody could come out and give us a quote or estimate on the job, her response was it was $95 an hour, and it would just be a service call. Two other plumbing businesses are going to give us an estimate. We have no idea how long it's going to take for them to do the construction work inside the wall and what all it's going to take, because this is an old house. I saw the great reviews for bourbon plumbing and was hoping that we might use them because of the quality of their work. Evidently they're doing so well, that they don't have time for estimates or extra business. Congratulations. Needless to say they may have done the best work, but we will never know

I called on Monday to confirm we were still good for the afternoon slot but he said they were running late and asked to reschedule to the next day. Next day he texted me about an hour earlier than anticipated to say they were headed over; not a big deal as we were available. He and his crew were professional, quick, listened to concerns and finished the job, cleaning up the area to spotless condition. They did exactly what needed doing and did it well. They then proceeded to overhaul a 3 year old water heater, promising to return in two days to do a power flush. ($960 for this act) Never saw or heard from them again. Total bill was $2,755 and still low hot water pressure in one shower. DO NOT CALL THESE SQUIRRELS!
