Called Beto over the weekend to help repair a broken shutoff valve under the bathroom sink and install a new faucet. He didn't respond to the Yelp Quote Request so I called on Sunday, scheduling later an appointment the following day. I called on Monday to confirm we were still good for the afternoon slot but he said they were running late and asked to reschedule to the next day. Next day he texted me about an hour earlier than anticipated to say they were headed over; not a big deal as we were available. He and his crew were professional, quick, listened to concerns and finished the job, cleaning up the area to spotless condition. They did exactly what needed doing and did it well. So scheduling was not a strong suit for them but they did the job well, which is really what you want in a plumber. Thank you Beto! read more

The plumber was " The plumbing guys" who over charged me a bunch, didn't finish the job, promised to return in two days but never happened. Never called Professional Plumbing but was asked to rate them as the plumber I used by Yelp. I apologize to Professional Plumbing as yelp tripped me up. I'm sorry to say it but I wasn't impressed with Professional Plumbing. I don't feel like they were as professional as they could've been. The man I spoke to said he would show up between 11 and 1 the next day. He showed up at around 4! I was feeling under the weather so I almost asked him not to even show up when he finally called. No apologies or anything for reaching out so much later. I thought he was going to fix our toilet but unfortunately he wasn't able to. He used the snake tool and wasn't able to do anything. We had already done that before and it didn't work. He charged me $150 for this! He said he could remove the toilet to see if anything was under it for $600. Seriously?? The toilet isn't even worth that! We've removed toilets in the past so I guess we'll have to do this again. Between getting ready to remodel the house and waiting for company from out of town, this isn't what I wanted to deal with on a Friday afternoon. After reading all of the positive Yelp reviews about Professional Plumbing, I expected a better experience. I can't recommend Professional Plumbing. The first time we called Professional Plumbing was for a leak we had that sprang up near our water meter (on our side) at the curb. They came out quickly and made the repair very swiftly and didn't charge and arm and a leg like some of their big name competitors. A few months later, our water heater that came with the house when we bought it ruptured, and we needed a plumber again. Mainly because of the way the water heater was installed. Fast, same day service after contacting for an estimate via Yelp app. After duscussing by phone at 805 am today, they arrived a little after 1030 am. Identified the water leak behind the wall quickly. Repaired the leak quickly and reviewed all repairs with me. Cleaned area and dried some walls. Very good experience. Accepts credit cards. Ok so Friday the 13th came this month of April and normally neither my wife or I give it any thought but this time it came with a vengeance as our upstairs bathroom was leaking water and it was seeping through to the first floor. I called to have someone come out to service our water heater when the pilot went out and all of my troubleshooting didn't resolve anything. They picked up the phone immediately, had availability right away, and showed up exactly when they said they would. They were transparent with diagnostics, cost of repairs, and the cost/benefit of alternative solutions. When Beto couldn't find a new part for me, he found an old valve and came back to install it within just a couple hours. Great customer service! I contacted them late at night to for help on replacing a current gas pipe that was stopping our stove from being against the wall. They reached out within 10 minutes to give a generalized quote and set up an appointment for the next day between 0900-1100. They called before they arrived and came within that time frame. Very Expensive. He quoted me (without looking and the job and me supplying all the parts, disposal, and water purifier (there was a water purifier installed before so all the connections were already installed)) over $1200.00 dollars for two PUSHONS to be installed (so what does that take to cut off an old pipe and pushon a new connection), REPLACE a garbage disposal, and to reconnect a water purification system. Look, I won't deny they do good work. I've used them before as an emergency (on a weekday) and they were at my house in 10 minutes. But can you find the same quality elsewhere at a cheaper price? Absolutely. They take advantage of emergencies/urgent situations. I get it, there's an extra charge for the weekends. But to ask for $300 more than an already high price to UNCLOG A TOILET just because it's a weekend? That's ridiculous and completely taking advantage of people. If you don't want to work on weekends, don't advertise it. Go ahead and use them on a weekday and pay a higher price for them to get there faster (in some cases it might be worth it), but don't bother calling them on a weekend. read more
