Mr. Moreno did an excellent job of installing a new disposal in an unusually tight space under the kitchen sink. The cost was quite reasonable. I am SO glad I found MJB Services. I live 800 miles away from my house in El Paso, and am always on…read morethe edge of panic when something goes wrong and I can't be there in person to take care of it. In this case, my water heater started leaking, and was getting worse by the day. It needed to be replaced asap, before it emptied the entire desert of its water supply into my house. By terrible coincidence, my handyman was on vacation, so I found someone else to replace it. Then, shortly before he was scheduled to replace the water heater, that person suddenly turned on me and became very nasty. As a result, I had to look for yet another person to do the job. So I went on Yelp and messaged a bunch of companies. And after hearing back from some, and being ignored by many others, MJB Services was the obvious stand-out for many reasons. 1. Isaac responded to my request immediately. 2. He was extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. It was like talking to a buddy, and that's always a huge plus for me. 3. His pricing was the best I found. 4. He came exactly when he said he would, did everything that needed to be done, and sent me pictures when he was done, which was greatly appreciated. I am very happy with MJB Services, and would hire them to do anything on my property that needs to be done. (They can pretty much to it all.) And once again: Thank you, Isaac. You were great.

I had used this provider for many years and this week needed their services again. Sadly I have…read morediscovered they are no longer in business. The phone number is answered but I'm told it's a wrong number. I've tried texting only to get the same response, wrong number. I googled and found that the owner passed away in January of 2021 so I can only guess that they are no longer in business. I am now looking for another plumber that I hope will be as good as Cesar.

So far I have done business with them 3 times...Our tenant called us because the newly installed…read moredishwasher was not draining and water was leaking outside near the laundry room. Cesar went to the house that afternoon and it turned out that the handyman had not removed the knockout on the garbage disposal before hooking up the dishwasher - it does say to do that on a sticker in big red letters, that you have to remove to install it. At any rate, if we had been in town, I would have installed it myself. The water leak turned out to be due to the water heater element overheating as it was at the end of its life cycle. Not mad-it was the original one and held up for 15 years. Service call was $75, Cesar allowed me to purchase the gas water heater from Lowe's (I found a $50 off coupon and was able to apply it to a sale item) and he went to pick it up. He did give me a military discount on the labor which took the total from $410 to $320. He also installed a drain pan at no additional cost. I found the right one on amazon, but it was on back order and would not have arrived in time for the installation. Our tenant called a couple of weeks ago to tell me that El Paso Water had contacted her because of unusually high water consumption, which pointed to a leak. It was a nobrainer for me to call Cesar. He thoroughly investigated all possibilities. He fine-tuned some minor water wasters. The major culprit turned out to be the plumbing for the pool equipment. The total with military discount was $720, which included the 2 days he spent looking for and then fixing the leak, as well as replacing the cartridge in the master bath shower as it was defective and the temp could no longer be adjusted. I thought this was more than reasonable as I was very much worried that it would be sky high. While the nature of this business dictates by appointment only, Cesar is very responsive and ALWAYS calls back if he cannot answer the phone and you leave a message. He also works with you and sends photos and the invoice if you cannot be there in person. I find his positive customer service attitude very refreshing in an area where we have been often left high and dry waiting on someone to get back to us or making appointments and then not showing up.

ALL 1-STAR REVIEWS! ALL!!!…read more This contractor has exclusively 1-star reviews, which should be a clear warning to anyone considering his services. In my experience, he failed to show up three times with no notice and then completely stopped responding to calls and messages. He even lied to the warranty company and said that he'll call me right away. His conduct was arrogant, dismissive, and entirely unprofessional. It takes an extraordinary level of negligence to earn universal dissatisfaction, yet he has managed to do exactly that. I was forced to use this individual through my warranty provider, Select Home Warranty, which I now strongly caution others against. This was a complete waste of time and an unacceptable experience from start to finish. I am demanding my warranty company send a different plumber and that they remove this company from their list of plumbers.

7 minutes ago As a consumer, I have the right to know what I…read moream paying for and to try to get the best price for the products & services I spend my hard earned cash on. Apparently Sunrise Plumbing feels otherwise. My retired parents had used this company for over 35 years and Sunrise replaced the swamp cooler, the furnace and the last hot water heater in this house so I had them give me an estimate for a new hot water heater, and also set up an appt for them to service the A/C. I was advised over the phone it would be $1500.00 for the hot water heater install. When I hesitated Carmen advised me that she had held up 'the schedule' to work me in for both jobs at the same time... I thanked her for her consideration. We scheduled a date and I was promptly asked how I would be paying. After speaking to my sister & a neighbor I wondered why the charge was so high as it was almost twice the cost either of them had paid. I made another call to Sunrise a couple of days later and asked for a breakdown of the charges as it was never provided, she did so but it required a call back on her part. I called Sunrise on the morning of the install NOT to cancel or ask if they were still coming (they were late but that was not my concern), I called to see if I could possibly get a better price and I told her I liked the work they did, which I do. I SPECIFICALLY told her NOT to cancel my appt & to make sure they come out because I needed the work done regardless. It required another call back from her to get an answer to my last question and 15 minutes before they were supposed to be at my house I was told by Carmen: 1. No price reduction... I replied okay (I still needed hot water...) 2. No appt.... she/they cancelled it! She said "I sent the guys out to do other work instead because you seem unsure". 3. I was also told that "I should go find someone else to do the work cheaper but to make sure they pulled a permit". Yes, she actually said that to me...WOW. I have over 30 years of great internal and external customer service experience. I have successfully built lasting relationships at every company I have ever worked for. NEVER have I seen such blatant, disrespectful, deplorable and unprofessional behavior from a BUSINESS. Her/their response to a simple yes or no question was uncalled for and spiteful, to say the least. Good luck with that attitude...
