Darnold redid all piping in my granddaughters home. They were neglected by the previous owner, and were a mess. The guys came out and made minimal access points and did a great job. I hired John from Danold Plumbing to repair a pinhole leak in the copper water line feeding my irrigation system. While the leak appears to have been repaired, I was disappointed with both the billing and the overall customer service. I was charged for more than an hour because the technician had to leave to obtain a small copper fitting, even though he arrived with a large parts trailer. I do not believe I should have been billed for time spent retrieving a basic repair part that should have been readily available. I was also charged for 45 minutes of initial on-site time, despite being told by the office beforehand that only 15 minutes would be billed. When I questioned the charges and asked why it took so long to return, John responded, "You're entitled to your opinion," which I found dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. In addition, after the repair was completed, one of my irrigation sprinkler heads became stuck in the open position due to debris left in the system during the repair. This required additional cleanup and further reinforced my concerns about the quality of the work. For now, the leak appears to be holding, and I am intentionally leaving the area unfilled so I can monitor it for any future leaks. While I appreciate that the leak itself seems to have been repaired, the unexpected charges, unprofessional customer service, and the additional issue with the sprinkler head left me with a poor overall experience. Based on this experience, I would not choose this company again or recommend their services. read more

Called in the morning, within a couple of hours, a gentleman by the name of Tony showed up. This is a rental property and my problem was a brand new furnace that had been previously installed during the summer months and hadn't been tested. When tested, it would not turn off and it also started emitting strong fumes and my CO2 alarms started beeping immediately. Tony did his thing and left me the unit running, not triggering CO2 alarms and with the thermostat doing what it was supposed to. I am very happy with their service and will be calling again. read more

2 inexperienced plumbers arrived to fix a simple leak. They didn't fix the problem that you call them out for, don't disclose their high trip charges, and charge excessive amounts without fixing what was asked. When we called in the person at the office interrupted us, was argumentative and then the owner was condescending and hung up on us. This company takes advantage of people in need and then charges large amounts to simply not fix or perform what is asked. We feel robbed. read more

Came out to get a bid on a bathroom remodel. Told us they would get us a bid in 3 days. weeks went by I called they said they were waiting on sub contractors bids, and would get back to me. A Month or more later, still never heard back. We contacted CDL construction and they are doing a Great job. read more

This company overcharges for their services. They also refuse to take accountability for doing excess work that was unnecessary. They had installed a water heater while construction was ongoing, and stated that they did not know what type of water heater was installed, so charged excess time for traveling back and forth to their offices. We decided to come and work on our slow drain ourselves and only to find out we had an improper T on our outlet and t-p and poop were in the drain. No roots, no metal shavings, only poop,water and t-p. Any good plumber would of caught that. So Darnold's explain that to us. What did you do for $425.00? Nothing in my eyes. read more

Joe and Joey came out to install several fixtures in the main bathroom of our old cabin in Cloudcroft. Joe had spent a lot of time on the phone with us in advance to diagnose the problems, much more than we would have expected, and was very patient and helpful. They had to cut through the wall to gain access to the shower and did a very nice clean job. The panel that they installed on the other side of the wall in the bedroom looks just fine. They also did some work upstairs and inadvertently took one of the parts with them back to their office. When we went to install some extra fixtures on our own we discovered that we could not complete our own end of the job without the missing part. They came up right away, were very professional and apologetic, and fixed the problem quickly and didn't charge us a dime. Overall we found them to be honest and professional and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. read more

I had them come to fix a leak in the wall under the kitchen sink. Instead of cutting the drywall with a drywall saw they bashed a huge hole with a hammer making it very difficult to repair. Instead of soldering the repair they used a shark bite fitting which continued to leak. The supposed journey man knew it was still leaking when he left. I had to pay another plumber to fix the pipe. read more

I called and got estimates from several companies. I chose Darnold Plumbing because of the estimator that came out. Jerremy answered all of my questions as he walked me through the process of converting from propane to natural gas. His attention to the details and what to expect was reassuring. I called the office to tell them I was going to use them and was scheduled to start. Abraham called me and gave some instructions to help speed up the process with the Gas Company. I called the gas company and found out they were a bit back logged. The info provided by Abraham, helped a bunch. The process was started and went pretty much as I was told it would. Darnold handled all of the permits, inspections and the issue that came up with the conversion. With a call from Abraham to the gas company and it was resolved. Joe had already converted all of the appliances already and just a few adjustments after the gas company adjusted the pressure. The stove has never been this nice, Thanks Joe! I found everyone I dealt with to be professional, polite and just good people. I highly recommend Darnold Plumbing, not the cheapest..however you do pay for what you get..The best! read more

This company was called for low hot water flow to the bathroom. They destroyed the bathroom vanity and half of a wall in trying to diagnose the problem., as well as destroying tiles near the water diverter of the tub (apparently this is how they diagnose a leak!).The issue was fixed, to where hot water came to the bathroom, yet problems were caused due to their hurry in tearing out the wall. The toilet was removed unnecessarily, and tile in the shower was damaged unnecessarily. I threw these guys off the job, and finished up the repairs of close to $500. The owner had the nerve to actually suggest that he would give me a bid to finish the job. I also had to call another plumber in to reconnect hot water to the laundry as for some reason they capped that off in the attic. I was unable to match my exact vanity, so I had to go with a different one. I was not happy at all. I talked to the owner, Abraham Moore, and tried to get them to assist in this expense caused by their amateur work, with no satisfaction. read more
