Update (4/16/26) - After thinking I got a good rebuild done, it seems like I was wrong. My car now…read moreloses reverse again and gets code P087A. I called within my warranty period but couldn't get my car to the shop to leave sitting until they can look at it as I was starting a new job. When I finally had time, I called a million times and showed up only to find my calls never being answered and the shop always being closed. I chalked it up that I was screwed over. After doing research later on, I found their second shop. I called, spoke to the owner, who told me he can look at it but because I'm 2K miles outside of the warranty and didn't bring it to him when I first called while they were still open, he could only "see what he could do to help me out" but not warranty their mess up. He also told me they closed the shop I originally had my work done at because they didn't have any techs. Now, my car is back to what it was doing before just outside of my 17K mile warranty and they're not willing to warranty their cheap work. A rebuild should last the lifespan of a new transmission. Not 19K miles later after a rebuild. No other shop wants to work on it now and only want to rebuild it again. I should have listened to the other reviews. Stay away from this place!!

But it turns out I put it off for too long and also needed new calipers. He lifted my car up and showed me how they were leaking brake fluid. And this didn't surprise me because I could feel my car was no longer braking. He finished everything during my work day and only charged $1,000. I spoke to Ray and he was very personable and accommodating. He explained what headlight bulb was the best option and what kind of labor it would entail to replace it.
