Great place for breakfast, opens early so before heading to seeing, this is perfect option in Polanco Area. Don't forget to try the "jugo verde" and coffee, sandwiches selection are good! Excelente lugar para desayunar, abre temprano y antes de ir a pasear por la ciudad, este lugar es una perfecta opción en el área de Polanco. No dejes de probar el jugo verde y café, selección de sándwiches es buena.

So I have a pretty strict rule about going to the same place more than 2 times while on vacation - especially when it's your first time in the city and there are tons of options. However, Peltre was so good and had so many options, that we couldn't help ourselves - we went 4 times in 5 days. We stumbled upon it on our first morning while looking for coffee, after having decided the line across the street was way too long. Both the cold brew and the cappuccinos were exceptional and we were really impressed by the care and skill with which we could see the employees in the kitchen crafting the meals. So the next day, while we were in a hurry, we decided just to grab coffee there again. We were able to go a day without visit Peltre, but then it was New Year's Day and everywhere else was closed, so we sat down for brunch. The third time around, the coffee was still great and we were blown away by how good their breakfast was. My egg sandwich was made with wonderful, thick, buttery slices bread and the egg was so expertly cooked into the hole cut out of the bread. We shared a chocolate concha and took turns dipping it into the cappuccino - omg so heavenly. As for our fourth visit, we actually went to a place several blocks away and in comparison were so disappointed, that we decided to make one last Peltre visit to get their coffee and a sandwich to go. Each time they were delicious, super reasonably priced, and staffed with skilled, kind workers. The atmosphere is incredibly pleasant and I implore you to make a trip if you're in CDMX!

Best unique blackberry cold brew, food was pretty good too. I'm not sure why this place has bad reviews.

They have a pretty extensive menu and we were drawn to the omelets and chilaquiles. Also the enfrijoladas (like enchiladas covered in a black bean purée sauce). Everything was amazing! We also tried many bakery items from the beautiful display and our favorite was the guava and cheese croissant. Have you ever had the refugiado (guava and cheese strudel) from Porto's in Los Angeles? Yeah, it's like that but next level. Great coffee drinks and lattes too. Truly a fantastic spot!

The place has mainly outside seating, and we were fortunately able to get a table without waiting. I ordered a cafe americano and water, while the girlfriend ordered some juice. After perusing the menu, I opted for enchiladas in red sauce. The girlfriend got scrambled eggs. The enchiladas came in a small bowl, dipped in red sauce, with avocado, bacon, and topped with salsa and sour cream. The enchiladas were not as tasty as I hoped, they were rather bland. The coffee was ok, but not too potent. The ambiance is relaxed. Mainly Polanco locals come here, no bad vibes. The customer service was ok. They just need to add more taste to their food, and they will do better.
