The pizza was good, but nothing special. It was satisfying in a "carbs will save me" kind of way. We ordered the kebab taco cooked medium, but mine came out medium rare. If this were a steak, I wouldn't have minded, but ground beef at that temperature carries a food safety risk. After reading multiple reviews about people getting sick here, I wasn't comfortable taking that chance. I asked for it to be recooked, and the waitress was kind and brought out a fresh plate. It was decent, but again, nothing special. The truffle gnocchi was where things really went downhill. When it hit the table, it smelled like mildew. I know truffle can be strong and earthy, but this didn't seem right. I forced myself to take one bite so I wasn't judging off smell alone, but it tasted exactly how it smelled. My friend and I didn't even eat 1/8 of the dish, and it was the most expensive item we ordered. Low key felt like our waitress should've asked why we didn't eat the dish nor ask for it to be boxed but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The dessert, however, was the best thing I had all night. Truly divine. Now I can't tell if it was actually top-tier or if I was just so hungry and desperate for something good that it felt that way in the moment- but either way, it was the one bright spot.
