I would say i been there when they ooen between 8am-9am and the bread are baked fresh. You can buy by the piece or wholesale. If you visit both bakeries after 7pm, you will run the risk of limited offerings and pastry that is may already have been funbeled, so i say buy in the morning. If you go at night, unless you know exactly what you want and you had it before-Dont Buy it. The breads and pastry were dry out and hard but on the other hand they do offer a small discount for buying right before they close. The concha from panaderia madrid was better for sure and they have a chocolate concha too. I didn't try tamales but they are available in the back in a big steamer. The way you buy bread is you go around with a tray, you fill up tour tray and bring to the packaging area, she gives you a ticket, you pay and come back to the same lady that package yiur food?? Weird and it took a while to understand, that applies for coffee as well. They have a seating area in the back, nice and clean and bathrooms. Bybthe way at the front you can order tostadas, flautas, juices, oaxacan tamales and hot food beginning 8am- I can live here all day and soo affordable!

I don't think you can go wrong here. the sandwiches and pastries are top notch. Not sure what else to say other than: visit Saint as fast as you can! Pro tip: Buy a large baguette and take it with you. They also have french butter in the cooler towards the front. They were making fun of me at first for carrying a large baguette through the city, but this bread came in clutch with my group of weary travelers even a few days later after a flight to Merida! It stayed soft in the middle (which is a sign of authenticity!)

But for now, a short walk from my Hotel Casa Corp along Benjamin Hill to Saint. Lovely place. And I opt for a dulce de keche roll and one of their special seasonal hojaldras. Two things come to mind. The first is that spellcheck changed the name of this pan de muerto to "himalaya ". The next is that the bakery borders Calle Tamaulipas which sounds a lot like Tamale Pass. Restaurant name idea? Maybe. Did I like it? It was fun. It was enjoyable. With so many choices in the city though, it may be a while before I return. Just too many places to try here.

But the MOLLETES were next level. I'd never had this dish before visiting CDMX but it's a baguette bread with refried black bean and melted cheese on top. It's amazing. The coffee was also really good. The banana bread was excellent. Staff was super friendly and quick. Overall a great, quick breakfast while in Mexico City.

Even though their selection is very limmitef, what they do have on display is one-of-a-kind. I ordered a single Oreja de chocolate cookie. It was fresh and fluffy and filled with freshness. The price seemed a little high for this chocolate delight which made it somewhat out of my range for the day, but I went ahead and purchased it anyway. The service was average, and the ambiance seemed more like a carry out style cafe. There was only one place to sit that was already taken. I think even a metal bench along the sidewalk would help to improve the quality of the place

Soy un super fan!…read more I've eaten at the Roma location several times, and decided to try this place in Condesa since I was staying only a few blocks away. I adore the location, and the patio seating offers some pretty views of the narrow tree-lined Condesa streets. This location is much smaller than the Roma restaurant, and perfect for breakfast and lunch. My server was Juan (I think?), and he was lovely. My Spanish is meh, at best, and he was patient and kind as I stumbled over the word, "ZaHNaHoRRIAAA" while ordering my juice. The fruit juices, coffee, and fresh produce are definitely ON POINT! Portions are not too big, not too small. All the ingredients are super fresh, and the presentation is Instagram-worthy every time. This will definitely be my cafe of choice when I return to DF.

Seeing that they also had an English menu, I picked the 4 hotcakes with blueberries and the eggs with mushrooms, bacon, and cheese. I also included a latte which was beautifully presented. Service was friendly but not fast. When the food arrived, I thought it tasted decent but not particularly outstanding. The mushrooms were okay and the egg was a bit overcooked. Still, it made for a decent meal in a nice area in Condesa. However, I think that there are better options for breakfast in Condesa than here.
