The bathroom tiles got fixed and they fixed and painted walls. Staff here is nice esp the xray guy and hygienist that cleaned my teeth today. My issue and the reason i lowered from 4 to 3 stars is lack of communication and the time i spent here today for just X-rays, cleaning and evaluation. I arrived at 1:35pm for my 1:30pm appt to an empty waiting room. I got X-rays done and cleaning by 2:45pm. After that people started coming in and i was waiting. The hygienist told me my usual doctor wasn't there and she would put me with another if that was ok and i agreed. I got up three times from 2:45-4:05pm to ask what was the wait for? First it was that the dentist was running behind and they couldn't say how many were in front of me. Then they said the doctor must have my paper because it wasn't there and people were getting called that just came in. Then i finally told the front seat girl "listen I've been here over 2.5 hours and I'm starting to get frustrated when it was only a cleaning." She realized my paper got lost and put me with the dentist. My teeth are fine besides food getting stuck into my crowns sometimes and they put in for a replacement on a crown I'm still paying on from the fall which was denied so I'm going to deal with the food occasionally getting stuck until my next cleaning in November. I finally walked out of there at 4:25pm. Almost 3 hours later just for a cleaning and evaluation. The staff is nice but please do better. Thankfully i arranged for someone to pick my son up from school ahead of time but this wait time for a cleaning was insane

There were NO seats in the waiting area. I stood for almost 1 hour. I sat down at 1:16 pm. I was called to get an x-ray at 3:00 pm. The front desk scanned in the wrong referral. At 3:09 pm I was sent back to the waiting room.

The first time I thought I was just over reacting and maybe give them another shot because I thought maybe it was just that particular doctor and we could get another one next time. The first appointment was for one of my daughters, just a basic check up but the dentist was very harsh and a bit unprofessional. The second appointment I actually booked for myself and my other daughter. This was a different doctor than the first visit. Both the doctor and especially the hygenist were rude. I explained to the hygenist that I was in discomfort and she blew me off and then proceeded to not finish my cleaning. The doctor who was dealing with my 6 year old daughter was rough and traumatized my daughter with how rough she was in her mouth. There wasn't anything nice after the waiting area except for the aesthetic of the place. I immediately changed dental offices and I felt compelled to do this review because it was insane how we were treated and there was no accountability on anyones part as professionals. I did mention how harsh they were being and did not engage in any bad behavior because this is how I handle any conflicts with "Professional Establishments" I expose the truth and the truth is they were less than sub par. I will be following up with the dental board and needless to say I will not be returning to Dr. Frankels office. I will update with the names of the individuals that I dealt with if I come across it but take this as a warning.

Point: DON'T GO TO THIS DENTIST…read more Dr. Roshe of Roshe Dental. I was so impressed with the customer service, up to date technology, and Dr. Roshe, I couldn't believe my luck. Like many grown adults in my age group, I was traumatized by the dentist office as a child. Myself, My Husband and My Stepdaughter all sang Roshe Dental Groups praises. I even referred a co-worker to them. Roshe Dental did an amazing job with dental implants for My Husband. They allowed us a payment plan. That was 2018. The the Pandemic happened and the world stopped. Then the world re-opened in 2021. Roshe Dental Group was great, until it wasn't !!! The staff started acting weird. Unprofessional. Would not answer or return my calls.

The Ultimate Point: My advice, get your specialty dental work done by a real specialist…read more Here's What Happened: I hate to do this, but I feel the need to share. I went to Dr. Roshe for dental work about 2 years ago (based on all of the good reviews). Most of the work was done just fine and I was satisfied at first, but then he recommended a root canal on one of my teeth. Long story short, he performed the root canal, but I kept telling him that something didn't feel right. I went back to him three times to get him to look at it, telling him each time that there was a tingling or some kind of irritation - something wasn't right! All he would do is grind down my tooth - like literally shave it down and have me bite down on that black paper to see if my teeth were touching. I did not feel that was solving the problem and I continued to feel something inside my tooth. I was told that it's normal and that sometimes this happens, and sometimes that happens. What also irked me about his solution is that I had had a root canal before, years ago, and that crown is still solid to this day, and when I pass my tongue over it, it feels like a normal tooth, has the groves like a normal tooth. Dr. Roshe's did not. It was flat, like flat flat. Like, what you'd experience with a temporary crown. And he just kept grinding it down because apparently the x-rays did not show anything. Anyway... we moved and I've recently seen an Endodontist who found additional decay at the tip of the root, which was not cleaned and sealed properly. I've known this entire time that something was not right and it felt good to validate that I wasn't crazy. I have had to pay (out of pocket, about $1,200) mind you for an Endodontist to go in and do the job right, and to get a new crown. BUT, I no longer feel that weird tingling feeling, or like something foreign has invaded my mouth. I am happy for this to be over and officially fixed. Someone asked me if it was just the crown, but it wasn't. That tingling feeling that was deep inside that I've felt all this time is finally gone. That tooth no longer stands out in my mouth (you know how you can just feel something and then you're always rubbing it with your tongue). That feeling is gone and the tooth is no longer a point of irritation - it's just normal. Sorry - I'm trying to explain it. Anyway - my advice, get your specialty dental work done by a real specialist. I gave 2 stars because the staff is nice, except for the woman who handles the billing - she never really smiles - FYI. And regarding the root canal, it could have been that he's just not an Endodontist and therefore couldn't spot what my new one did in a few seconds. One thing I always hated: The waiting area smells unpleasant. I never said anything because I felt bad. There is a bathroom in the front and the door is always open, so that might be why. They try to cover it up with scents, but you still smell it.

I have been through so many dentist until my bff recommended Dr. Schwabe. Let's just start with the fact that you don't have to wait long. If your appointment is scheduled for 9:30, you will be seen at 9:30 or a few mins after. No more waiting for hours :-) seriously he has his schedule set up to ensure that he provides you with the optimal and individual care you deserve. Second, the atmosphere is calm and cool. His staff are absolutely pleasant. Dr. Schwabe and his team are honest, patient, and most importantly they make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Third, he takes his time cleaning your teeth...no rush. I personally enjoy the singing while he does your X-ray and then the conversation he tries to have with you while he is cleaning your teeth or fixing your fill-ins. He makes me feel comfortable and relaxed which is probably the main reason I always return to him. (I'm famous with going to one dentist and never returning again) Fourth, I absolutely appreciate the way he meets with you in his office after he is done working on your teeth. Dr. Schwabe is patient and answers all your questions without rushing you. I'm done with the search because I found the BEST dentist ever. I highly recommend Dr. Schwabe!

They never pick up their phones. Never. You PHYSICALLY have to go in to speak to someone. They stare at you blankly when you explain your frustrations then ask if you want to make an appointment. Last summer, I went in-person to schedule an appt and decided to wait for an app that just happen to become available. A young man walked in and was obviously anxious. He explained that he had traveled from Queens, took 3 trains to the office to ask questions about a procedure. He said no one answered his calls so he had to travel. His insurance only listed a few providers and Dr. Fensterstock's office was the closest location to him. He apologized for being shaky and flustered, but he was not used to traveling so far and had written out a list of questions he wanted to ask to ensure he was getting things right. And this is when I realized this office did not deserve his business or mine. Maxine, the Dental Hygienist is the only one I see here and she is excellent but unfortunately, this will not save the relationship. Go someplace else.
