Just horrible. Our very expensive arched windows are not up to what we paid for. The arch does not cleanly meet the square portion of the window. Our sales person first accepted that they were working on making it right, then he stopped answering my questions or phone-calls. When I tried to call him another day, he answered and recommended I contact corporate. I told him he was my sales rep and he became very rude. He called back to apologize for what he had said and promised me a manager would call me that morning. That call never came. And good like trying to get help by calling them directly to the office. This company is a joke and now I have to live with my very expensive, defective windows.

Pella Austin is an incompetent, horrible organization. I was excited for my custom windows. This quickly dissipated w/each Pella interaction. The salesman was late, & did not understand manufacturing lead times but was aware installers were backed up. I told him I would prefer Pella do the installation and paid my 50% down payment which included the installation cost. I also inquired about a permit & he said he would check. He did not get back to me on any of the issues in a timely manner. He called to tell me the lead time would now be 2 months & the install longer. I asked again about the permit & he said he forgot and would check. I was then charged $500 measurement fee. Apparently they charge you this if they are not doing the install but this fee was not listed on the original estimate (he gave me one for Pella to do the install & one to just supply the windows which should have included the $500 measurement fee). I paid it because I was trying to finish before school started at UT as an engineering PhD student. During this time I spoke to the sales manager Sandie Criley in hopes of receiving competent customer service. At least Colin was nice. Sandie was horrendous and I am embarrassed for her as a female manager. Once I realized I could not work with her, I asked Colin again to follow up about the permit. A month passed, Colin forgot again & then e-mailed me that I would need to pull the permit & pay the $2k for the permit plus coordinate with the state. This is a violation in this county. https://www.austintexas.gov/page/express-permits. I told him to cancel the install (even though Pella still held my 50% deposit). I was eventually charged $450 (not previously mentioned in either quote) to have the windows delivered. The first attempt included an Enterprise truck with 2 non-uniformed workers who could not get the door open. Their return trip on Monday including them forgetting one of the windows. I did receive a $500 refund but not worth the stress. Note that they have terrible reviews on multiple sites and when they try to negotiate any reimbursements for the errors, they insist that you remove your reviews because they know how horrible they are.

Incomplete work

Would not recommend. Poor communication and incomplete work. Do not work with this business. They installed windows and a door last year and still have not completed the project. After a year of emails and complaints I still have not received a plan to complete the project. Instead I received a notice of a lien on the property. This local business is shady, unprofessional, and offers poor quality.

Selected Pella fiberglass windows after have all the leading competitors present their products. Pella won our business for aesthetic, product quality, and value. From our initial call Jeremy and Audrey helped meet every objective we had for the project. Their communication from start to finish was excellent. Dennis and the installation team were exceptional! They were friendly, knowledgable, and expert in their skills. They treated our home with exceptional care, wore masks for COVID safety, and left our property cleaner than when they arrived. Perfect 5 out of 5 stars! The quality of the Pella staff was exceptional. Thank you

Alan and team did a great job on my replacement windows, and I already started saving on my energy bill!

French doors with two dead bolts make no sense. The left one is non-functional, as is the exterior "lock" attached to it.
Chris G.

The installation of my new French doors went very well, but the follow-up service has been very frustrating. My installer and sales rep both acknowledged that the left door needed to be re-worked since both doors have dead bolts and only one door is supposed to have a dead bolt. It seems obvious to me since the left dead bolt has no function and nor does the lock attached to it (see pics). But the woman at the Pella office I spoke with told me just the opposite. I was also told that a project manager would call me about it "shortly", but that was four days ago and I've yet to hear from her.

No one in-service answered my call 5times. Held for 15 minutes. Love the windows, not the service department.

After i paid for the materials, it was a struggle to get them to show up and they never finished the job. timeline: paid on December 1st and was told installation would be done by December 19. They said they would prep the door (paint, etc.) and have it ready for the 19th. The week of the installation i never received an update. when i called i was told that they could not be here because of weather. Next, they said they would come on January 2 to do the job. They showed up only to tear up my entrance and leave it unfinished (See pictures). They took multiple measurements of everything they could find but not made any real progress. They left and took the door and materials (that i already paid for) to paint them (didnt do it the first time) and said they would come back the following Friday (1/9/26) to finish the job. when next friday came, they never showed up, i received no communication from them. After calling multiple times for several days with no response, i was able to connect with them by calling from a different number (they thought was a new job). I was finally able to get Rene to at least return my door and materials that i paid for (which they overcharged me for). They finally showed up a few days later to deliver my materials, but the job was never finished as originally contracted. This is not the first time this happens. Please see this complaint in the BBB by some one else. (https://www.bbb.org/us/tx/canyon-lake/profile/doors/door-services-of-texas-0825-1000237233/complaints). Be careful with this company.

Outstanding Service from Point Blank Solutions!…read more I had an excellent experience with Point Blank Solutions and couldn't be happier with the work they did replacing my sliding glass patio door. From the very beginning, Pierce Stevenson was a pleasure to work with. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided a very fair and accurate estimate. Even more impressive, he was able to get the job scheduled quickly--no small feat during the busy holiday season. I ordered and received my new door on a Saturday, and Pierce was able to come out the following Tuesday. He completed the entire installation in four hours, exactly as he had promised. The door works perfectly, looks extremely professional, and the quality of the work really shows. Pierce was efficient, reliable, and clearly takes pride in his craftsmanship. I would absolutely use Point Blank Solutions again for any future repair or home improvement needs and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and great customer service.

He seemed nervous and claimed that he had a personal emergency. He came out the next day and same thing, he worked for a couple of hours and left without finishing the job. I called him and he said he finished. Neither of the windows close and one was too long and the other was too short. I will most likely have to replace the windows after what he did. He committed to returning yesterday but did not show up nor return calls and messages. This guy, from my experience lacks professionalism and competence.

I had been meaning to do a bunch of repairs on my house (which is just about 13 years old and remediated 6 years ago) and was trying to reach out to different people to do different jobs with varying levels of success. The result was a backlog of things to do and coordinate with different parties. I originally reached out to David for some help with repairing a shower door that had fallen off. He replied quickly and showed up to do his estimate as scheduled. While he was over, he looked at a bunch of the other things that I needed to have done and offered to do them as well. He repaired everything in one day only a few days later. I have to applaud David for his courage to start his own business. But this makes sense for him. He knows he is good at what he does and he is organized. He is highly professional in his correspondence. He will outline precisely what he intends to do. He is timely. He is versatile in the tasks that he can perform. He possesses initiative. And he will follow-up with thorough documentation of what was done and needs to be done. Payment is also easy and he accepts a number of modalities. I have attached some of the pictures he took for the various jobs including: 1. Window blind replacement 2. Water valve and supply line replacement (more details below) 3. Ceiling fan remote control failure diagnosis 4. Watersealing of door threshold (more details below) 5. Tub spout repair 6. Shower door repair and adjustment (I contacted a bunch of people who would not offer to do this) 7. Sliding door repair (which another contractor said they would fix but never did) I want to comment in particular on his ability to diagnose problems. For the longest time, my kitchen faucet had slow flow. Just the kitchen faucet. Over the years, I contacted perhaps 3-4 different plumbing companies. They recommended ridiculous things like increasing the water pressure to the house (which didn't make a lot of sense given that the other faucets were fine and was impossible because the pressure was already maximized) and even replacing the faucet altogether (which would cost $220 for the same model and not resolve the underlying problem). David diagnosed the problem as excess calcium build-up in the valves and he was right! He knew the answer when all the professional "tradesmen" did not. I also have what some people would call a "lemon" for a house. The contractors that built it did bad job. It was remediated but even after this remediation, I had problems. One of them was the balcony door which would leak water when it rained. I contacted the builder and they said that my second warranty had expired and they recommended how to repair it. Suffice to say that they were completely wrong and David uncovered some pretty shoddy workmanship and commented on the unorthodox remediation which would lead to the problem. I should have had David remediate my house. Overall, I am exceedingly happy to have stumbled upon this gentleman and would be pleased to refer him to others. He is basically the "doctor" you want for your house. I hope he stays in business a long time.
