The service was great and everyone was attentive. They took a reservation when we called same night. My Pina colada was made just right and everyone at the table enjoyed their adult beverages as well. No complaints on the food. I hadn't been here in years and wondered why after this visit. We will return!

The oysters are always so fresh tasting and can never go wrong with their steaks! Our server (Armijo) was attentive and friendly. This place is good for a casual meal or a special occasion.

Absolutely hate that I couldn't five star this place because I really, really wanted to love it! First time at Pelicans West on Coors I'm not sure what compelled us to dine on a Friday night however the staff and service were awesome. There was about a 25 minute wait around 6 PM however we opted to sit at the oyster bar and chef's kitchen counter, with full view of the entire cooking line. Zero wait there! I think that may have been my favorite part of the experience. The team was amazing, and each person had their station down packed! I didn't see any food sent back and they truly have a really awesome kitchen staff. Unfortunately, I wasn't wowed by the food, specifically because of the price. We don't mind spending money for fine dining however I have an expectation when you are paying a premium. My husband got steak and lobster and it was around $90 for his plate. He wanted asparagus instead of a mixed veggie, which was also an additional charge. The salad dressing was amazing! I really liked the salad bowl, which is unlimited, but there was no way we were asking for a refill because it was plenty full. They also served bread with whipped butter and roasted garlic and I was a huge fan of that! Our shrimp cocktail starter was amazing as well. It was fresh and reasonably priced, in order of four was around $16. So that's pretty consistent with the higher end Steakhouse. I'm not sure that we've ever had Australian lobster just what they were serving. It was not it all fishy and it was prepared to perfection, but I wasn't truly a fan of the taste. Lobster tails that we've eaten in the past typically have a subtley sweet flavor and this one did not. Perhaps it's the way it's prepared however, this was just kinda plan. It was served with drawn better, but we hate dousing in additional sauces. Finally, we got mud pie and we're very impressed with their dessert! That was made in house and was truly tasty! Another thing that I wasn't a fan of was that the server left all of the dishes on the counter, so everything was super crowded. I'm not sure why it wasn't cleared after our appetizer course and then after the salad course, however it never was. Perhaps it's a thing to leave the salad there since there's free refills but wasn't a fan of that. So five stars for the experience and the kitchen team, the restaurant was clean so five stars for that as well... I just wasn't super impressed with the seasoning on the steak and lobster or lack of clearing when main was served.

ALWAYS AMAZING! Keep doing what you're doing. No complaints whatsoever. Do miss some of the old menu items like cedar plank salmon and the way the salad in the bowls used to be served but you guys are top notch. Watching kitchen, wait and bartender staff is like seeing a well oiled machine. Food is great, happy hour specials are wonderful. For martini happy hour it would be so nice to have cold glasses when martinis are poured.

Went to Pelicans for the first time. We were pleasantly suprised. The food was delicious and the service was great. It was a busy night, but we made reservations. We started out with the sizzling mussels which I could have just had as my meal and been satisfied. They were so delicious. I ordered the Sea bass and baked potato with the clam chowder. My husband ordered the steak and lobster with the salad. The salad was pretty hearty with all kinds of veggies, and my clam chowder was full of clams and potatoes. The bread they gave us was also super delicious. The sea bass was a large portion and ended up coming home with me because I was so full after the mussels and soup. The steak was cooked perfectly and the lobster was melt in your mouth delicious. We definitely will be back and order smaller portions.

The good. The bread and roasted garlic cloves is delicious. The salad was generous and dressings fresh and flavorful. The bad. The oysters were good but very small and expensive. I know we live in the desert but that doesn't change the fact that they were not worth it. I ordered the Chilean sea bass. It was OK. Slightly undercooked. Not a great sear. My son ordered the same and his was cooked properly. The seared tuna appetizer was slightly overcooked. It was tasty and was large portion. Overall it was just not worth the money. $38 for the sea bass that was not cooked perfectly and while it tasted good it wasn't great. The service was very good. Especially considering that they were very busy. I will be looking for alternatives rather than going back here.

This charming little bistro near the south end of Old Town is elegant, welcoming, and truly a hidden gem. Having convenient on-site parking was a nice bonus, and we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Our server, Christopher, made the evening even more memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He also took the time to recommend several local restaurants and places to visit, which we really appreciated. We started with the mussels, and they were outstanding--fresh, tender, and served in a rich, spicy butter broth with perfectly toasted crusty bread for dipping. My cedar plank salmon was cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and paired with a delicious chorizo risotto. My husband ordered the filet mignon, and after trying a bite, I can understand why he said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. The mushroom risotto and seasonal vegetables were the perfect complement, and the fresh salad with homemade dressing was a great start to the meal. To top off the evening, the staff surprised me with a three-flavor sherbet dessert complete with a birthday candle and a thoughtful personalized birthday card. It was such a sweet touch that made me feel truly celebrated. We couldn't leave without trying the German chocolate cake, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner. Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu the next time we're in town.

Crispy Brussels sprouts had great flavor but way too much cayenne pepper (which adds nothing but heat) my husband ate them but said he would prefer less heat. I had 2 bites and gave up. Baked brie was amazing I loved the granny Smith apples! My husband loved them too. We also got the hummus duo which has dates on it and I used a date in the brie that was fantastic! I'll ask for that next time! It was the bomb. Hummus duo was good the watermelon radish was beautiful on the plate but gave both hummus a bitter flavor. Shrimp and grits. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Parmesan cheese and some onions maybe. Greek salad delicious. The flash fried chick peas made it. We needed more dressing and the wait staff was prompt and sweet about it. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. It was ok and had I ordered a wine spritzer I would say yummo but I ordered sangria. Pork Belly flat bread was the winner of the night the tomato jam made that dish. I would love more on it next time but we will definitely be ordering that dish again! Yes we had a lot of left over food! But I love sampling a menu and this menu has a lot to offer. We will be back to try 4 or five other things. I look forward to my return.

In a rare turn of events, both kids got the same thing, the Korean chicken bites with the sauce on the side, which was a great decision bc it did have a kick to it. The chicken itself was a bit dry. Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side. Service was fine, and glad to have a little break from heavier New Mexican cuisine on this night. Lots of variety on the cocktail and adult beverage menu too.

Drinks are dive bar classics Cape Cod on a menu, Sutter Home and Cavit. LIIT, lmeon drop, tequila sunrise, what are we 12 now. I actually like a bohemia, shiner, guiness (not on tap) with my dinner. Their early week special is a 14oz boneless strip which is beefy and juicy, don't over cook this as it will toughen up. Their late week prime rib is thick, tender and wall to wall pink. They do have horseradish if you ask. Their ribeyes are on the smaller side, but very good quality. They have their own butcher and not a chef who does the butchery. The baked potat is generous sized and well accompanied. Prices are decent, quality is good and portions are excellent. Feels more midwest than southwest in vibe, but the Greek immigrant influence is interesting as I'm curious how Bakalava and dolmas and a shish kabob might taste. The Ham & cheese and grilled cheese just seem out of place, but not more than seeing Milk on the menu.....with sizes offered. My ideal meal here is the late week speciall prime rib, with fried shimp and chopped green chilis. Fried mozzarella sticks and a shrimp cocktail to start. They let you order cold center which is how I like my porterhouse and ribeyes. The salads don't come with tomatoes, but their burgers do, weird. After several locals recommended Antiquity, we quickly learned why reservations are so hard to come by. We couldn't secure a table on our actual anniversary, but managed to get one a couple of nights later, and it was well worth the wait. From the outside, Antiquity is understated. Step inside, however, and you're immediately welcomed into a warm, intimate atmosphere that feels like a hidden gem tucked away in Old Town Albuquerque. Owner Steve, who has been running the restaurant for nearly three decades, greeted us personally. His passion for hospitality was evident from the moment we arrived. While we waited briefly for our table, he took time to learn about us, ask what types of food we enjoy, and offer thoughtful menu recommendations. The restaurant itself is charming and authentic, with an old-world steakhouse feel that perfectly complements the historic New Mexico setting. Many of the tables and booths are arranged to create private, intimate dining spaces, making it an ideal choice for special occasions. We were touched when Steve seated us at what he called the "anniversary table," complete with a small scattering of heart confetti, despite our celebration having technically passed. Service throughout the evening was exceptional. Rather than relying on a single server, the entire staff worked seamlessly together. Water glasses were never less than half full, empty plates disappeared almost instantly, and every member of the team seemed genuinely invested in ensuring guests had a memorable experience. Even the kitchen staff engaged warmly with diners, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. As for the food, it exceeded every expectation. We started with oysters on the half shell, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. I upgraded to the special salad, a beautiful combination of greens, apples, strawberries, mandarin oranges, walnuts, bacon, and a creamy mini brie, all brought together with a delicious pear vinaigrette. For our entrée, we chose the Châteaubriand for two. It was expertly prepared, carved tableside, and cooked perfectly. Every recommendation we received was spot-on, and the meal was so impressive that before leaving, I made another reservation for later that week just so I could return and try more of the menu before our trip ended. Antiquity offers beer and wine rather than a full bar, which was perfectly fine for us and fit the restaurant's classic, understated character. This is not an inexpensive dinner, nor should it be. What you're paying for is exceptional food, genuine hospitality, flawless service, and an atmosphere that is increasingly difficult to find. Antiquity doesn't simply serve dinner, it creates an experience. If you're visiting Albuquerque and looking for a memorable meal, especially for a special occasion, this restaurant deserves a spot at the very top of your list.

Arrived a few minutes early for our celebratory reservation and were seated right away in a quiet, private book surrounded by art and dim lighting. For starters, my gumbo was good, and his salad looked as good as it tasted. For entrees, husband got sucked in by the specials and ordered the schnitzel, which (to quote Shania) didn't impress me much. To clarify, there was nothing wrong with it, but I've had a lot of schnitzel, and it just failed to stand out. I kept to the classics with a filet mignon. To my surprise, it left the same impression. Again, absolutely nothing wrong with it - cooked well, quality cut, etc. - but I've had more memorable steaks at High Noon Saloon. *shrug* Highlight: The servers were exceptional. Lowlight: The sconce / light fixture over our table was in need of a dusting. Overall: A lovely evening to toast my guy's significant professional achievement. Would recommend if you find yourself stuck in the rut of bad service when dining out. Antiquity's dinner service will remind you how a night on the town is supposed to feel!

This also happened the first time we came to eat at social house a year ago, but it felt more pronounced this time. And the restaurant was not full. Probably a third full of patrons? We were seated at 6:45 and our food did not arrive until 830. Quite the wait if you ask me. Finally, the kitchen was having some sort of smoke issue. If you've never been in an establishment where the grease smell and smoke is visibly accumulating in the air, you know it's quite distracting from a dining experience. It was so smoky inside.
