Combo A with clams (crab legs, headless shrimp, scallops) with sausage potatoes and corn
Christine C.

As we continue our restaurant date through the alphabet, this week was the letter M. We tried Meet crab. Again this was a new restaurant to us. We got snow crab, scallops, headless shrimp and we added clams. All bags included potatoes, sausage and corn. We also added some bread. We got the medium garlic butter. Normally we would have gotten the fire, but as I have gotten older my stomach can not handle the heat lol. It came out hot and and fast. The whole meal was delicious and filling. It was a great value for the price. We will definetly go back. We also have leftovers for another meal.

Very good! They have an all you can eat broil before 745pm. We've been a couple times. The only con is service is a little slow BUT it's because most tables are filled. Also our shrimp has been over cooked each time so it's kinda chewy other than that I recommend it for seafood broil.

Additional bowl of butter (Costs about $3.50)

Located in an older, somewhat empty shopping plaza in Albuquerque, New Mexico, provided an intriguing dining experience. We visited late at night, about an hour before closing, which might have contributed to the empty feel of the place. Upon arrival, we sat toward the back, away from other diners, which initially seemed pleasant for a quiet evening. Our waitress was helpful and explained the menu thoroughly. We were almost sold on the unlimited seafood option but lost interest when we found out the unlimited did not include crab. Instead, we ordered a single seafood bag to split and added a pound of Dungeness crab to our snow crab bag, opting for medium spice in garlic, along with two sodas. While waiting for our food, a large family with incredibly disruptive children was seated next to us. The kids were loud, banged on tables, and ran around the restaurant, disturbing other diners. Despite the commotion, the staff did nothing to manage the situation. In contrast, a homeless man who quietly entered and sat at the entrance was swiftly confronted by kitchen staff and asked to leave, causing a loud altercation when he started yelling. This inconsistency in handling disturbances was frustrating. The atmosphere of Meet Crab was confusing, with a mix of license plates on the wall and light-up wings for photo ops, leaving us unsure of the theme. However, the bathrooms were clean enough. When it came to the food, Meet Crab delivered an excellent dining experience. We were provided with all the necessary crab-eating tools, including scissors and gloves, which were unique and very useful. The food arrived hot and fresh, featuring generous portions of crab, peel-and-eat shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn. The portions were impressive, beating out any other crab place we've visited. We were stuffed by the end and still had some leftovers, which is remarkable for a single bag split between two people. While the food was outstanding and offered great value, the service towards the end of the night was lacking. It seemed the staff's attentiveness dwindled as closing time approached, possibly due to the lateness of our visit. Additionally, the disturbances from the unruly children and the homeless man made it difficult to fully appreciate the meal. In conclusion, if you're in the area and looking for excellent seafood, Meet Crab is worth considering for its fantastic food and generous portions. However, the service, atmosphere, and other customers may detract from the overall experience. We might return for the food but would hope for a quieter, more controlled dining environment next time.

Holy moly this place was incredible! Lots of thoughtful curation has gone into not only the food…read moreand it's presentation, but also the ambience and the staff. I am a mermaid at heart so of course the seashell theme was on point. I was on a solo date and the patio was a sweet place to sit outside under string lights and enjoy the views of the mountains in the background. I love to try new things so I was delighted they had an oystertini (yep you guessed it, a martini with an oyster in it!) The lions mane mushrooms were to die for. Insane flavor and texture. The salmon was cooked " medium" which I've never really had before, and it was so palatable and luxurious. Nothing worse than overcooked fish ha ha. Dominic was my server and he was especially attentive and sweet and conversational. Great energy. The rest of the staff had a similar vibe. 10 out of 10 would love to come back. One thing to note: the food is very RICH with a lot of oils, kind of like French food, so next time I wouldn't order as many heavy items (my fault not theirs !) and I would pair it with some lighter faire they offer such as one of their salads. Overall, such a treat.

Unfortunately, they didn't ask us if we had a special occasion we were celebrating, but overall the service was great. The ambiance was pretty nice and there is a back patio that has a few tables. They have a large array of oysters from the east coast and west coast. The oysters and the way they served and prepared were good. They do have raw clams also which I thought strange, but I'm probably just not fancy enough. We ordered a few appetizers including green chili hush puppies which seemed to need a little more Smokey green chili flavor and they were a bit dry. The lobster deviled eggs are sort of tart and flavorless and I didn't get any lobster on mine. My friend said the lobster rolls were good, and I had a salmon special that was out of this world delicious and cooked to perfection!! The red curry mussels were also outstanding!! Could use a bit more spice and salt, but really good. One of the kiddos didn't want raw food, but he also couldn't find much on the menu for kids. They were out of what he ordered and when they finally did get his order, his food came out about 15 minutes after the rest of the table. They did comp out appetizers so that was nice, but in my opinion they should have comped his meal since they didn't have what he wanted and then served him so much later. Their alcoholic fancy beverages were great. I had a glass of wine that was good. I would suggest offering more wines and meals from the adjacent wine bar and restaurant to Lure as well. They have a few kinks to work out, but I think they are on the right track. There is no phone so it's very difficult to make a reservation. I recommend visiting this place and trying some of their food during off hours. I'm not sure I'd recommend their appetizers yet, but with a few tweaks they will improve. Cheers!

Wrong! They only have Gumbo soups now. I am not complaining at all, we chose a separate appetizer. We love the Oven-Baked Crab Cake with Jumbo lump crab, & lemon caper butter it was delicious. Kara was on top of all parts of service. She was attentive but not intrusive in the least. 5***** all the way. So we ordered a ton of food, and enjoyed it with the complimentary French bread & Butter. Dan had: Pappadeaux's Platter with Two fried catfish fillets, [extra] shrimp, oysters, stuffed shrimp, stuffed crab, crawfish. Dan only got through less than half. I ordered Rainbow Trout & Jumbo Crab Blackened trout, shrimp, jumbo lump crab, hazelnut brown butter, with Buttered Heirloom Grits. The pairing worked very well together. There was a slight up charge for the grits, but I am happy. The food was fresh, delicious and well balanced. The garden outside and around Pappadeaux is a relaxing and inviting. They have a water fountain on their front veranda, and it was wonderful to hear the birds in the trees. Windows give a nice view of their gardens. I believe they still may patio seating but I didn't ask about it. The waitress offered dessert and with both of us having had a substantial more food on our plate, we declined... but I admit the banana pudding was calling my name (back for a limited time she said).

May not be a fair review because I keep getting the same thing when I come here: the steak (with…read morethe mashed potatoes and greens, last time asparagus), and of course one of the desserts. The meat has been consistently tender and juicy although I tend toward something close to medium or medium well, and absolutely delicious. I don't generally eat a lot of steak, and Seasons 52 is actually the only place I've had one in the few years since my first one there. I've been there with groups of people, all of whom enjoyed their meals and drinks. Service has been consistently excellent, and the environment (and parking) have been lovely. Note: Today's Yelp email was about places to get a great steak, which inspired this review. Highly recommend, with thanks.

I ordered the Brick-Oven Roasted Chilean Sea Bass and I liked it. I love the calorie counts but some of them seemed hard to believe (like the gnocchi).
