The fresh salad bowl was great with lots of raw vegetables. The fresh bread was rolled tighter than a baby. The main food was good. Service good Lots of people running around for a Tuesday. Ambiance went with menu. Prices good.

We had a long wait , probably about 45 minutes but it was worth it. The service was great and so was the food. My wife had the halibut and sweet potato fries. She said it was delicious. I had the char steak and baked potato. The potato probably could have been cooked a little longer but it was still good. My steak was cooked perfectly. Also, I had the wedge salad and it was probably the best wedge salad I've ever had. Definitely give this place a try

Bar fish and potato - substitute for the French fries Sit at the bar !

Yes, we waited an hour for a seat. Service is friendly and fast. Fish and chips - the cod is done perfectly. I substituted the French fries for sweet potato fries and they were not crispy. The mud pie is huge, hard to eat and more kids than adults . It's a simple dessert. The mussels have a rich garlic butter but there were many empty shells. The clam chowder is perfect ; creamy with bug chunks of clam and potato. The calamari is also perfectly delicious. Crisp but not overdone - surprisingly just perfect. The tartar sauce was just ok. I'm stuffed for 75.00 with tip.

We came to Pelican's for our anniversary dinner and had a mixed experience. Our first table was wobbly, but the staff quickly accommodated us with a new one-- however we were next to the kitchen booths and it's also loud and clanky sounding. Not bad but attention to detail was missed here . Put up a door. The service was great--attentive, friendly, and fun. We started with a half-dozen oysters, which were fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. We both wanted the prime rib, but it was already sold out by the time we arrived at 7 PM. That was a real disappointment since it's my go-to order here. Instead, I got the choice ribeye with vegetables, and honestly, it was one of the saddest steaks I've had at a restaurant in a while. No seasoning, just a strong burnt taste from the grill. The vegetables were equally uninspired--no seasoning at all. On the bright side, my partner enjoyed his meal, but overall, I was really let down. I don't think I'm being overly picky, but I've had much better steaks at home. For the price and reputation, I expected more. Would I come back? Maybe for the oysters, service and prime rib but definitely not for the steak.

Love the food and drinks here. It has always been top notch!

I have been here several times, and the food and drinks are always on point. You'll want to try their watermelon margarita, with fresh watermelon juice.

Another great evening at pelicans, went for husband's birthday, he had the shrimp linguini, oh so delicious, my father and I had steak, perfectly cooked. Halie our waitress was so kind, attentive but no overbearing. And I must add the oyster Rockefellers were the ut most delicious. Perfect service and timing were impeccable.

    Wonderful evening with the family!

Well, where do we begin...? My first time at Pelicans didnt start off well... We had a dinner reservation but for whatever reason, we waited more than an hour after our reservation. Fortunately Im an understanding and sometimes too patient of a man. But I understand plans dont always go as expected. We were finally seated and greeted by a very vibrant server...and I wish I had her name, and spoke with eastern European accent. And she was very apologetic for us having to wait. None the less she took our drink and appetizer order, and before long were all chatting away enjoying the evening. What can I say , except its a steakhouse that actually has an authentic steakhouse vibe to it. Very nice staff...we ordered our meals...my steak was prepared exactly I ask... medium rare! Although a freak incident occurred. I swallowed a few flakes of black pepper from my steak and because of the intensity I began coughing really hard to point of choking. I guess it just went down the wrong pipe as they say. From all of the steakhouses ive dined at, that was a first. After that little episode, the steaks were perfectly prepared. The old fashioned I ordered complimented the evening...Pelicans is a great place to enjoy a steak, some adult beverages and if you have it, good company. The next time im in Albuquerque, I plan on making a plan to come back!

It's been some time since I've seen Red King Crab legs at a menu, so I just had to order them. Let me tell you, they were worth the price and did not disappoint! The wait was a bit long for two, but I guess that's to be expected on a Friday. Our waiter was was great and on top of things all night. I'll already looking for an excuse to head back for more!

The best time to come and celebrate Valentine's Day is three days after!! walked right in got a table. Sean was our waiter and gave amazing service! Highly recommend the calamari and the mud pie!

Excellent service and great food. Has a small waiting area but plenty of space in the rest of the restaurant. Only available for dinner.

I am a mermaid at heart so of course the seashell theme was on point. I was on a solo date and the patio was a sweet place to sit outside under string lights and enjoy the views of the mountains in the background. I love to try new things so I was delighted they had an oystertini (yep you guessed it, a martini with an oyster in it!) The lions mane mushrooms were to die for. Insane flavor and texture. The salmon was cooked " medium" which I've never really had before, and it was so palatable and luxurious. Nothing worse than overcooked fish ha ha. Dominic was my server and he was especially attentive and sweet and conversational. Great energy. The rest of the staff had a similar vibe. 10 out of 10 would love to come back. One thing to note: the food is very RICH with a lot of oils, kind of like French food, so next time I wouldn't order as many heavy items (my fault not theirs !) and I would pair it with some lighter faire they offer such as one of their salads. Overall, such a treat.

Unfortunately, they didn't ask us if we had a special occasion we were celebrating, but overall the service was great. The ambiance was pretty nice and there is a back patio that has a few tables. They have a large array of oysters from the east coast and west coast. The oysters and the way they served and prepared were good. They do have raw clams also which I thought strange, but I'm probably just not fancy enough. We ordered a few appetizers including green chili hush puppies which seemed to need a little more Smokey green chili flavor and they were a bit dry. The lobster deviled eggs are sort of tart and flavorless and I didn't get any lobster on mine. My friend said the lobster rolls were good, and I had a salmon special that was out of this world delicious and cooked to perfection!! The red curry mussels were also outstanding!! Could use a bit more spice and salt, but really good. One of the kiddos didn't want raw food, but he also couldn't find much on the menu for kids. They were out of what he ordered and when they finally did get his order, his food came out about 15 minutes after the rest of the table. They did comp out appetizers so that was nice, but in my opinion they should have comped his meal since they didn't have what he wanted and then served him so much later. Their alcoholic fancy beverages were great. I had a glass of wine that was good. I would suggest offering more wines and meals from the adjacent wine bar and restaurant to Lure as well. They have a few kinks to work out, but I think they are on the right track. There is no phone so it's very difficult to make a reservation. I recommend visiting this place and trying some of their food during off hours. I'm not sure I'd recommend their appetizers yet, but with a few tweaks they will improve. Cheers!

It's lovely outside and in. Though the building has been there for many years now, they have remained in business and kept up on the cleanliness. It's still beautiful! I ordered the chopped salad with salmon. The salad was absolutely delicious, but it was not a chopped salad. It was closer to a tossed salad because the lettuce was not chopped as you would expect. No biggie! I just chopped it up myself. The bacon on it was scrumptious and the salmon was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The salad dressing was a creamy vinaigrette and it went perfectly with the dish. I recommend! We shared a Crème Brûlée that was HUGE and delicious as well. I ordered the passion fruit lemon drop drink and it was tasty and strong. The service was prompt and kind. He got all of our orders correct and was highly attentive. I'll definitely be back soon!! We initially decided on this place because they offered oysters on a half shell. I figured they would be small oysters, but no, these oysters reminded me of the size of gulf oysters. The oyster dish came with all of the fixings, horseradish sauce, cocktail sauce, tabasco sauce, lemons, and crackers. I enjoyed every single bite. We ordered a seafood boil dish combo #2 that came with Dungeness Crab Legs, shrimp, clams, sausage, red potatoes, and corn in a crab house cajun sauce with heat level medium spicy. The boil came out just as I finished my last oyster. I failed to take a picture of the beautiful seafood dish before us. Plan to get messy with this place. They put down paper on the table when arriving, and they give gloves and a bib to wear. I took off all of my rings and I got busy cracking and peeling. The cajun garlic butter sauce was so flavorful. I couldn't get enough of it. I swept and dipped my seafood pieces around in it until I could scoop up enough to enjoy with every bite. Our server was attentive to our needs, and the bathroom was clean upon my visit. I didn't mind the walls and poles that were written on. It added its own character.

I told her that I was just sitting here for a glass of wine awaiting my son and with a tinge of agitation, she said, "I thought u eat here". She snatched the paper away so I said I would just sit at a table holding she wasn't my waitress. I asked if she could bring the wine to the table. Her response, " Yea but I thought you eat here..." as she oddly stood there with a grimaced look holding the paper mid air. Guess who brought my wine? UGH. Oh well, when my sin arrived, we both ordered a pound of snow crab bags each both with an extra potato. The 1 pound orders come with a potato and 1 half ear of corn. He got what he asked for with what looked like an extra crab claw, but less the extra potato. I got 1 and a half king crab legs and 1 potato...no corn. Not wanting to annoyed my waitress as I had obviously did earlier, I asked the only gentleman server who seemed most interested in watching a football game the entire time if I could speak to a manager. I mean, that's what I typically do when my order is incorrect. He said that there's no manager as he rushed to get back to the Seahawks/Redskins game. I get it, I brought my laptop to Walmart just yesterday to watch the 53 yard pass that won US a game the day before. BEAR DOWN! The only difference was that on tonight, I was at dinner in this night, not work. IJS. I digress. My waitress came over, annoyed needless to say, and I mentioned the error to her and she insisted that king crab is what I ordered. I've never tried and have never had the desire to try king crab legs, but ok. She asked if I wanted a snow crab and I said sure but please be sure I got my corn and extra potato this time. She answered, ok, ok, and scurried off (I didn't quite hear the second ok clearly but assumed that's what she said). She returned with my order...again, no corn. I get my bill and to my surprise this order was $153 for 2 glasses of wine, 2 snow crabs and.1 extra potato. I asked about the bill and she said (again with her bad attitude) "I ask you if you want me to take the king crab back and you say no". I responded, "I said no because it would have got thrown away anyway. Because my entire order was wrong I didn't expect to get charged for it. What would you have done with the order other then throw it away anyway?" Her response, "It's MY choice what I can do". Needless to say, my tip was to "Say no to drugs". Did anyone else get the fork on the floor because Crackin Crab certainly didn't know what it could have meant. I jokingly placed a fork face up on the floor next to me earlier that night. I'm not THAT PERSON and have/will never claimed to be. I just wondered if they had a clue. It got swept up with the trash by another worker so obviously they didn't get it. That cruise ship would have moved along like a speed boat with some not so nice comments the next day. Aside of the snow and king crabs being a bit smaller than I'm used to being from Chicago, the food was pretty good. A double bag may have kept the butter melted longer but, oh well. Be sure to sit at the younger Asian lady's tables. Other times I've been there they were always sooooo pleasant.
