Came here for NY style pizza. They didn't have a meat lovers(maybe that's not a NY thing?), but were very helpful and accommodating with what they did have. The pepperoni sausage was delicious. I like that it was large pieces of sausage. The sauce has a very unique taste. I get vibes of fresh tomato, a slight bitterness, garlic, and more. Also tried the spinach pizza. Lots of spinach, good flavor, a bit cheesy for me but overall well balanced. I liked it and would definitely come back. The place looks clean. Food was ready on time. read more

Good pizza with fast service. This is our go-to pizza place in Pelham. It's nothing fancy, but it certainly is quick (at least usually), and the food is good enough. Gotta say, I was happy to see that most people seemed to be wearing masks, at least out front, but one guy spent the whole time with his mask around his chin (and when needled about it by a customer, basically said that he thought that Covid was a conspiracy). These guys deal with food, so you'd hope that public health would be top of mind for them. I'm deducting one star for that. read more

The pizza is really good. The crust does not disappoint, nice and crunchy. Most of all this place reminds me of family. Everyone that walks in knows each other and know all the guys working. The place is cash only, super local loyal customers frequent the place, you go to the counter someone asks what you want, there could be someone next to you and you have to pretend like you know the protocol because you're new. Going there for a quick slice of pizza is good and convenient, but when it comes to special orders they dont like it. I asked for a chicken parm hero on garlic bread and with vodka sauce instead of marinara and they wouldn't do it. I even offered to pay extra and he still said no. I was quite disappointed when he insisted to tell me you know because it wasn't like I was asking them to substitute it for free, other pizza places have no issues with doing the substitution. I always visit Pelham Pizza when returning to NY. Great food and great staff. They have mastered the art of cooking eggplant, a veggie that many struggle with. Their eggplant rollatini is my gold standard for eggplant rollatini. Thinly sliced, light batter, cooked perfectly with a delicious creamy ricotta filling. Their tomato sauce is great. Pefectly seasoned and rich. Their egglplant pizza slice is also my gold standard. Big, not too thick, perfectly fried slices of eggplant cover almost the entire slice. An absolutley incredible slice. Other favorites include the spinach slice and the tomato slice. Both are great with good fresh veggies and a nice garlic flavor compliment. The chicken picata is also a favorite. State is literally under a state of emergency due to Monkeypox. She was bothered by the fact got extremely nasty and roller her eyes. when I went to go speak to the owner he literally cut me off midsentence to do something else. As I'm in the counter trying to speak the owner, Christina says I feel bad for her kids. When you come to New York you expect New York Pizza this is not the place. Happened to find this little gem late night through yelp. Just wanting to grab something quick. I yelp "pizza" I'm 8 minutes away from Pelham Pizza, so I give it a shot. The pizza is thin NY style, loved it, and the crust was amazing. I really wanted a spinach slice, but the guy before me had just ordered the last one..just my luck! I ordered a regular slice and a Sicilian. I get in the car and while I'm driving I can just smell that amazing aroma, I can't wait. I open the box and the pizza looks dismal, my heartbreaks, but low and behold...I bite in and, it's spectacular. I wish I would have seasoned it with a little oregano, garlic, and red pepper flakes before I left the restaurant. This pizza is top notch. The only reason it isn't five star is because when I bit into my regular slice I could taste all of the garlic from what was probably a "garlic slice" also when I bit into my crust I could taste pepperoni...I know this often happens in NY pizza shops still doesn't make it right. Also, they take card, but I never received a receipt. I didn't want a receipt to be petty I actually wanted it so I could tip (I didn't have a cash). Great pizza, probably the best on that whole strip. They have a great showcase of pizza and everything seems tasty and fresh. The people that work there are very friendly. I have also sat down and ate dinner there on a few occasions. Sometimes it is hard to get a table. It's usually always busy in there unless you go once they first open, or right before they close. I've tried many of their different pizzas and all were great. They make a great regular slice, which is very important for a pizzeria, for obvious reasons. I hate going to a pizzeria and they can't make a decent regular slice. On the few occasions that I've sat down and had dinner I have enjoyed their Chicken Francese. On two separate occasions I tried their Chicken Sorrentino. Both times I've had it were disappointing. The first time i figured maybe my taste buds were off, but the second time i realized that it's not me, it's the dish. I do not recommend the Chicken Sorrentino. However, i do like that with their dinner entrees they give you nice hot bread, a salad and a side. You definitely get your money's worth. Two things I don't like: cash only! And no fountain machine. I hate bottled soda and canned soda. Moreover, this place is a bit outdated but that's ok .. they don't pretend to be a fancy pizza joint anyway, and for the most part they keep the place clean and well stocked. What a great little spot for a quick slice. The pizza was fresh and the staff were pleasing. Coming from North Carolina and being used to souther hospitality, I felt right at home. I enjoyed a slice of cheese and a slice of sausage. Seating was plentiful, parking was metered (0.25 cents per 20 minutes) and the adjacent businesses offer plenty of browsing to walk off the calories. Id definitely come back to enjoy some of their other menu options. Only suggestion I would make is to have a better system of collecting glass bottles instead of allowing them to collect on top of the trash can. While I was there, a guy knocked over the bottles and shattered a few on the ground while trying to dispose of his waste. Overall, AWESOME! read more

They are the worst when I first went there they were good then where I go to the adult daycare I got them some business well they was very rude, they forgot some food, someone ordered shrimp scampi over linguine they never bought the pasta. Also I ordered it angel here with the vodka sauce and meatballs the meatballs tasted like wet sponge in the vodka sauce if it wasn't for salt I would've had to throw it in the garbage. Every time we are in the area, not only do we make the effort to grab a slice? But we take multiple chicken rolls, throw them in a ziplock and bring them on the plane to pop in the freezer when we get home (or eat mid-flight). Absolutely delicious. I actually added it to my "Last Meal" list on Yelp, because it was truly the first thing that popped into my head. On my constant quest to find great pizza here in Westchester I've tried many places more than once to find the best one and I've tried pelham pizza multiple times since I work so close to here this is the pizzeria that we always seem to order from due to some of my co workers swearing by it. I've had plain, spinach, margarita, chicken parm, slices and I'll be honest it's just average, the sauce is good but the slices are way too doughy, I've heard people say it and I agree, I can eat 2 slices here and I'm full but still not satisfied if you know what I mean. Because we order this at work I've had it a lot but most times I end up turning it down because if I'm going to use my calories on pizza I might as well get something I really like. We've also ordered some of their dishes which are better, penne ala vodka, chicken francese and chicken marsala were all good but the pizza is just ok. read more

I have been coming to this Pizza joint since I was 5 years old. I have never had a better slice in my life. Now, I consider myself an objective man of taste. I remember the first time I had sushi at 9 years old and loved it, only to realize it was trash 20 years later when I got fresh Sashimi in Tokyo's fish market. I realize now how greasy and horrible my favorite Chinese Take-Out was and how getting it every week in my teenage years was a HUGE mistake. But I've had pizza from every joint in Pelham, in the heart of Manhattan, up and down the East & West coast of our great nation, and even across the Atlantic Ocean in both Florence & Rome. My friends, I have never had a better slice. They make a good cheese slice. You know the kind. The one that gets the balance of cheese, sauce, and dough perfectly. The kind with those fresh ingredients cooked on a slice that's just thick enough. It's baked in an oven hot enough to keep the sauce moist but also have that satisfying crunch when you bite into the crust from underneath. But their slices with the toppings though. That's where things get crazy. The fresh ingredients used for the toppings are heaped on in helpings big enough to fill your belly but shop short of being gratuitous. You will NOT leave this establishment hungry. But you'll also not leave this place feeling like you just finished up some gratuitous, greasy burger challenge (there's chains for that in the next town over). And the toppings they use are top notch. Italian Sausage, tomato with extra mozzarella slices, chicken parm, spinach Alfredo... there's just so many that offer those authentic Italian flavors. My favorite pizza is the Eggplant parm, but that's just me. They're all fantastic. If they're serving dinner you can ask for a menu and sit down for table service. You can order wine with other more intimate, knife and fork oriented dishes. I've done this with my family many times but (to be honest) I couldn't tell you how any of the other dishes are. The fam always said everything they ever ate was delicious but I've never ordered anything else here other than the pizza. ...Oh wait that's not true. I just remembered that I got the escarole and beans here once 7 years ago and it was amazing. Never mind. Anyway, do yourself a favor. Don't settle for Villaggio on the other end of main street, with it's over-sized restaurant side that segregates the pizza from the wine / dinner dishes. Don't do delivery from one of the greasy corner shops in town just because they'll bring it to your doorstep. And for goodness sake, DON'T do Digiorno! You owe it to yourself to drive downtown and get the real deal. You owe it to yourself to have the greatest slice you'll ever have in your life. read more

I went over the order with the take-out person before hanging up. The Pizzas we're ready in time for pick up. However, they added an extra plain pizza and charged us for it. The pizzas were delicious, but we were annoyed that they said a pizza. Of course, we could have refused the pizza, so the fault is ours.
