After searching online for options nearby, I came across Park Floral and decided to give them a call to clarify a few details before placing my order. When I spoke with the manager, Michael, he told me there would be a $25 delivery fee to the funeral home. I then asked how much delivery would be to my home, which is only three blocks away, and he quoted me $15. This immediately raised a red flag, since the website clearly advertised free delivery. When I questioned this, he paused and then said, "It doesn't entail anything, I can just deliver it for you for free." Based on that, I told him I would go ahead and place the order the next day for the Friday service. The next day, I checked the website again and noticed all the prices had suddenly increased by $15. While that alone was frustrating, I still called to finalize the order. At that point, I was told to call back in an hour because he was busy. I proceeded to call back five times and even left a message. I never received a response. For something as important and time-sensitive as a funeral, this level of inconsistency, lack of transparency, and poor communication is extremely disappointing. I ultimately took my business elsewhere, and I would not recommend this shop based on my experience.
