Some others with me had various sides like regular fries and tater tots, and the same thing was present on them that tends not to be at most places: they were all perfectly salted/seasoned. It might seem immaterial, but it's a very good signal when something that simple--yet often neglected in favor of just using condiments to mask it--is executed well. If you're a burger place with fries that taste great without the need for a sauce or condiment, you're doing something right. The French toast burger was likewise fantastic, combining sweet and savory in a great way. To drink, we all got a communal pitcher of the only frozie they had available at the time: a kind of jungle juice vodka slushie. It, too, was great--worthy of multiple rounds. All in all, here's a place that I can't wait to give another visit.

The parking lot can be busy depending on the time of day and there is plenty of parking. Turning left out of the parking lot can be a hassle at times, so use caution. There is metered street parking as well, though after 8pm and on Sundays you don't have to pay. I'm glad I gave this diner another chance after so long. It's become reliable for me.
