All four still have our guests talking about how good they were! For our meal we went with a duel plate seated dinner. We had crab cakes and short ribs both were incredible! The crab cakes had a lot of crab in them and were perfectly crisp on the outside! The short ribs were my favorite, they were so tender and had amazing flavor! He made a HUGE paella which fed 60 very happy guests with a great portion. The week before, they called me to confirm and Juan, the owner, let me know that he would be the chef the day of our event. I warned him that my mother is a very picky woman that's from Spain and that he would have his work cut out for him to impress her. He said he would be up for that challenge as he's from Valencia and has been making paella all of his life. Fast forward to the wedding, when we arrive at the reception space and are greeted by the most amazing smell of paella being cooked. The guests were in awe as they watched the chef finish making his masterpiece before their eyes. I felt bad for the guy as the before mentioned picky Spanish woman had arrived and was standing over his shoulder waiting for her chance! Trish not only helped figure out what we needed in terms of food but how to structure set up, serving, etc. into our event. We had a specific plan in place before the event which she implemented with perfection. The food tasted delicious, was beautifully presented and plentiful. The staff was friendly and professional and moved in and out so quickly and quietly that we didn't really notice the set up or clean up as these were happening.
