There are really so few Chinese grab n Go buffet kitchens like this that I'm willing to go back to more than once. So far the portions are very large so I get more than one meal. It's clean, I like the people who run it. After a couple times there, they recognize me and my bf which is nice in such a big anonymous town of slip food. I like the chow Mein too although personally, the rice is fine but I prefer the Mein.I personally just prefer the skinny noodles you don't find at many Asian buffets but their chow Mein is still tasty and big piles nevertheless. Really like their mushroom chicken to start. Beef and broccoli is fresh and the broccoli is 'Al dente' and not over cooked sloppy spears. I always want to get the eggplant as it looks fresh and colorful. The chicken jalapeño was muy caliente! And the appetizers like the fried shrimp was very good! But the BBQ pork is the standout. First because you can't find it around much anymore but it's just very good and juicy. It's not fancy. People don't eat there as a dining experience but for grab and go Chinese fast food in a to go box. I don't think you will lose getting food there. If you're too bougie to hit a little hole in the wall for some take out Chinese food, don't go. You'll be unhappy probably. Something fast and simple which applies to Chinese takeout for me. I've been coming here for years and it's pretty much simple and cheerful. The place isn't that big which they now added a seating area in the back. It's been a while since they did that. I've never dine in only for takeout. There's a few parking spots just outside the front door. It's part of a strip mall so you'll get parking easily. Nothing fancy about this place. Right when you walk in, there's the main display case with all the food. There's the fridge for drinks to one side. They do offer a good selection of dishes as well as items that you can order. Normally I pick up the three item combo. Comes with either fired rice or chow mein or half and half and your three entrees. Price did go up a little but it's still really reasonable. Super quick service and good prices but definitely didn't hit the spot if you are looking for quality meal. The noodles were bland as well as the fried rice. The orange chicken was not crispy nor had flavor and the beef broccoli was not appetizing at all. I was hoping for something that had some decent quality with affordable pricing but I was wrong. We got chow mein, jalapeno chicken, teriyaki chicken, and BBQ pork for a quick meal today, and here's our quick recap: 1. BBQ Pork: definitely good - we both agreed! Slightly sweet, and you can taste the spices, but savory and tender! Great flavor, easy to eat. 2. Jalapeño Chicken: savory with a nice jalapeno flavor, but not very spicy. Good! 3. Chow Mein: ok - it did the job. 4. Teriyaki Chicken: the flavor was ok, but not great. Some parts were pretty dry and hard, so I would rather try something else next time. Overall? My husband told me about this spot, and he finally took me here today. we got a family meal for about $42 and was able to get four entrées 4 appetizers and more, we also got an order of salt n pepper shrimp and man was if fire(Good). It smelled so good I wanted to stop to eat it on the way home lol and when I had it boy was it the best I definitely think they should hook up the inside a little better. This place got to be the worst. Food is not bad, but if you take a look inside, it's super dirty and nasty. I took a look inside because my workers and i always feel bad after eating here. Came in around 7:20pm for a quick dinner. We've never been here before, despite living nearby for years. The surrounding windows definitely could use a wash, and upon entering it seemed as though the place hasn't been renovated in a very long time. Whatever, maybe the food is good. We ordered two plates. We got the noodles and rice, which looked good, and we got the basic orange chicken and beef broccoli and some egg rolls and cream cheese won tons. We waited for the those to be fried, and as we were waiting we saw a huge cockroach running across the floor. Made us question our decision to eat there, but I saw the A health score so we felt ok about it. The orange chicken had a very strong orange flavor, and my son said it was almost soapy tasting. I agreed. The beef broccoli was pretty good and tender, but the beef tasted a little funny once I chewed it a bit. Not sure if it's because we were already feeling a little questionable because of the cockroach and also just a general feeling of uncleanliness in the restaurant.
