Avoid at all costs. Picked up a to go order and paid with my credit card. Received notice from my credit card company that a 35% tip was added after leaving the restaurant. Went into the restaurant to discuss the situation and they didn't want anything to do with it.Currently disputing the charge. Food has gone down hill lately also.

Beef Chow Mein.
Ray H.

I ordered the beef chow Mein today. Disappointing to say the least. More like heartbreaking I don't know what kind of noodles they used but it was disgusting. I've had Chow Mein before, and this ain't that. If I can save one person from the heart breaking decision to order this from the menu, I would be happy. Not that Peking Garden gives a hoot about this review ( they don't). I won't patronize their establishment ever again. I suggest anyone reading this enter at your own risk. You've been warned!

The food was very tasty. The BBQ fried rice was very delicious. I order the honey walnut prawns. The sauce was delicious. I highly recommend Peking Garden. The owner was in back cooking. The staff up front was very helpful. It was plentiful portions. They have a lot of to go orders. Very fast services to dine in. They have dine in soda fountains. I will go back.

Kung Pao Chicken

A little disappointed. Ordered kung pao chicken and fried rice. It was mainly kung pao veggies very little chicken less than half a chicken breast if that . The "fried rice" was just their white rice with soy sauce no veggies no egg no meat.

First time trying the brunch after many dinner visits…read more Started with cocktails and both were really good. The Greenhouse Bloody Mary was lighter and fresher than a typical Bloody, made with an in-house clarified celery juice base that gave it a really bright flavor. We also tried the Rhubarb Sunrise with rhubarb purée and vodka, simple, refreshing, and super easy to drink. We started with the crab cocktail: chilled crab leg meat over ice with lemon and cocktail sauce. Really fresh and simple in the best way. The salad ended up being one of our favorite things we ordered. Fresh greens, snap peas, pistachios, feta, mint, dill, and a grilled lemon vinaigrette. Super refreshing and kind of addictive. The server did a great job with the timing of the food which is always appreciated, so you don't feel rushed. We split the pork belly benedict and it was excellent, rich smoky pork belly, perfectly poached eggs, and a really solid hollandaise. The potatoes were crispy and nicely seasoned too. The French toast was ridiculously good. Thick-cut with a crunchy caramelized outside and soft custardy center, topped with strawberry-rhubarb and fresh whipped cream. Sweet but not too heavy because the rhubarb balanced everything out. By the time 11:00 rolled around the restaurant started to fill up, if you want to come when they open at 10 you could probably get in without a reservation or sit at the bar. The outdoor patio was also open and looked nice. Finished with a michelada made with pilsner, vodka, Bloody Mary mix, and a shrimp garnish. Awesome food and cocktails like always from Oxbow. Definitely coming back for brunch with family and friends.

It was our first visit last night. I'm all for constructive…read morecriticism so that's why I'm here. Pros: Food was great. My wife said the chicken parmigiana was one of the best examples she's ever had. She usually isn't into red sauce that much but she loved it. Most of us had the salmon, which I think was cooked just right and was well presented. It's kind of a weird location but it works that it has a lot of parking. The inside's nice and clean, the people we engaged with there were pleasant/service was good. Cons: Main issue last night was how long it took to get our meal: I think it took over an hour. I don't fault a place for a single slow experience, and the waitress was apologetic about the delay, but for the level of establishment it is, it would've been nice for the table to have been given some free bread or something to munch on as an apology for the wait. The inside was pretty smoky when we got there, light beams cast. Not sure if smoke derived from cooking or the inside fireplace (insert?) but my wife's sensitive to the smoke, so her eyes were bothering her for a bit. She was talking about possibly needing to go outside when I think the AC kicked in and the air quality improved. Otherwise, I'd say the main con is it's on the pricey side. Like after tax the salmon is almost $50, no salad/side included, and it's not a large portion. It was, however, delicious.

We came here for my friend's birthday and the vibe was absolutely immaculate!!!! Exactly the kind of energy you want for a special night out. Let's talk about the service: Brian and Jason are absolute legends. They took such good care of us and honestly made the whole experience 10x better. They're attentive, super friendly, and just know how to make you feel like a VIP. The bar has everything you need. Reanee is the sweetest and will customize to your hearts desire ensuring your whistle is wet Now, the food... wow. The chicken is straight-up fire, but the real game-changer is the Lemon Pepper SAUCE. I've only ever had the dry rub before at other spots, but having it as a wet sauce is a total revelation. It's zesty, peppery, and addictive... I'm never going back to dry rub again. Amazing food, killer service, and a great atmosphere. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out. Highly recommend!

With the speakeasy theme I can't believe they didn't go with more of a library, big furniture and lots of wood and dark tones vibe.. Classy and jazzy feel. It was so bad that we were tempted to leave. Please please consider redesigning the big space. Now the positive. We ended up stayed and were all glad we did. We all loved the dishes we ordered and the cocktails were fantastic. Service was really good too and super friendly. We enjoyed the food so much that we will be back for sure BUT only to be sat in the speakeasy. When you're paying high prices, the atmosphere is part of the experience. Also... please remove the sign showing where the speakeasy is! It's meant to be inconspicuous!

The John Daly and Pink Guava Mojito were both deliciously refreshing, which felt a little inconsiderate because now I have to think about them again. And each dish came with a yummy mini scone. The staff were super friendly and efficient, and the whole place had that relaxed, welcoming energy that makes you want to sit there longer than you planned. This time, I got the Open-Faced Dungeness Crab Melt and PLEASE get this if you come here. This was THE BEST dish ever!!! The crab, melted cheese and tomato worked so well together and everything tasted perfectly balanced. And the fries were SO crispy! Even with the little incident, we will definitely be coming back. We've been super excited to come and eat some seafood boil and having to wait till 3pm till they opened, we were starving! We were sat down very quickly and the waiter took our pretty fast too being that we were the first ones in. Our order: Combo #3 with added sausage with no spicy house special sauce Kids chicken tenders with fries Shrimp fried rice 1 order of asian bread 1order of steamed rice Total $130 We've been to this location 3 other times and the experience and food were all terrific! Unfortunately this time we left pretty dissatisfied and disappointed with the quality of the food. Me and my husband always peel and crack open the shrimp and crab first before we start eating just so it gives us some time to let our baby's food cool down for a bit. We finally got it all cracked, peeled and opened when we finally got a taste of the crab and it was SUPER SUPER SALTY. In total me and my husband ate 1 crab leg each and left the rest, and we never ever have leftover crab typically. Our crab batch was just so inedible that we didn't even take it with us to go. The chicken tenders and fries were good, can never go wrong with that and my daughter loved them! The shrimp fried rice was also good but the shrimp seemed a bit rubbery, but we took it home and decided to just take the shrimp off. With having to spend $130 and not getting to eat both the crab from the expensive boil and the shrimp from the fried rice I'd give this experience a 2, we specifically went here to have the boil but ended up not eating pretty much any of the crab. When I asked the waiter why the crab was so salty he said they they add salt to keep it fresh, but the fact that it was severely salty kind of wondering how much salt did they have to use to keep this specific batch fresh? I'm not sure if we're planning on coming back but I hope the next batch is better for everyone else!
