I was told it would be delivered soon, but over an hour passed so we called again. I called off of my phone and they did not pick up, so we tried on my friends phone and they answered on the second ring. After asking for an update on the order, we were shortly told to "give her a second" and put on hold. We were told that we would get a refund, but were not told what happened to our food or received anything close to an apology. The food that actually got delivered was okay.

It was during the heatwave of July 2026 , the food shack , like shed is out in a fully sunny exposed parking lot with a couple of picnic tables . I suggest you plan first as the hours of operation are limited. Also call in your order beforehand if you don't want to wait. I learned first hand they don't accept credit cards. Cash only. We had a full on lunch for 3 adults for under $40 We loaded up on the buns. Highly recommend

I've tried lots of different pad Thai dishes in different places and this is definitely one of my top picks. So so yummy! With that said, be sure, even if you say you want a vegan pad Thai, to ask for no egg. There has been a few times I have ordered a vegan pad Thai and they take out the fish and oyster sauce, but still add in the egg. If you want to be sure, it is a fully vegan dish you'll want to specify that you want no egg.

Biggest thing for anyone who doesn't know what they are ordering, it doesn't hurt to ask so you can get the exact thing you want! I got the house lo mein which is noodles and the combination of shrimp, pork and chicken hehe! I also got orange chicken! She brought out a bowl of rice for me! Super attentive! They have lunch options and family options! I had enough to take home too! I like this place a lot! The restaurant is nice and cozy too! (I get everyone has their own reviews, but it just seems like people who weren't very happy with their food did not ask what they were ordering. Make sure you ask, they are so nice and will answer and guide you) only gave 4 stars bc I have not tried everything yet haha! Will be back !

Among the best Vegetarian and Vegan options for Chinese food in Cheyenne. We've been eating here…read moresince 2001 and one of the things we appreciate is that they have been very willing to make meatless versions of dishes for us, substiting tofu for the meat protein in almost any dish and being clear about when that is not possible such as soups made with a fish stock, chicken stock, or sauce made with a beef stock. For us this started with being able to get a Kung Pao Tofu, and now we frequently enjoy Vegan versions of Singapore Chow Mei Fun, Spicy Basil Tofu with Vegetables, Vegetables Mu Shu with Tofu added, and Vegetable Bean Curd Soup made with a meatless stock and added fresh ginger. There items no longer on the menu which they also make upon request such as Vegetables Egg Foo Yong (vegetarianbut not vegan). A friend like added fried tofu so while their is a small added charge for the added tofu it still remains a bargain. They cook the tofu either fried or soft per your stated preferences. Likewise if you want something Vegan, just let them know to leave out egg. From the beginning with a different owner in the past they avoid using MSG, and offer a "healthy menu" which uses less oil and less salt. Truth is those versions are also less tasty but if you are trying to be more careful about what you are eating they are there and better than most other places with similar options. While the family and the servers frequently speak limited English they are going to serve Americanized versions of Chinese cooking which still is among the better outside of San Francisco or New York. They strike a balance between their native China and Wyoming, doing it well and try to accommodate customer preferences as much out of sense of hospitality as business savy. This is a real bargain for eating out with most vegan or vegetarian dinner entrées or lunch plates under $13 in 2025. Portions are generous. We share an entrée bring home the remaining half, and have a meal to share as "leftovers". They used to have brown rice but no longer do due to a combination of lack of requests for it and no doubt costs. If it's something you would like, ask, even if they don't have it, it let's them know it's some customers would like to see return to the menu. Golden House offers tasty vegetarian and vegan options in an unpretentious atmosphere. It is located in downtown Cheyenne across the street from a city parking garage and usually there is also street parking available nearby. If there is something you would like and you don't see it on the menu or if you need a dish prepared in a different way, ask. One of our favorite not on the menu dishes is Vegetable Singapore Noodles Chow Mei Fun, a golden curried thin rice noodle we order without egg to make vegan, and we have them add steamed tofu to it.

We were looking for a local non-chain lunch option in Laramie on a road trip, and 2nd Street Deli…read morewas a huge hit! My husband had the turkey basil cheddar sandwich on homemade bread, and I had the very generously portioned Bombay spinach salad. They were excellent, the service was prompt and attentive with a smile, and we said, afterward, that we would make a point to come here every time we go through Laramie, which is usually two or three times a year. However, another element of our experience set this establishment even higher in our estimation. Following our lunch stop, we were about 3 hours and 150 miles north of Laramie when I discovered I was missing my purse. I remembered I had slung it over the back of my chair at the deli, thinking, "Don't forget this!" and I DID. It had my wallet, driver's license, credit cards, cash and passport inside, and we were on a road trip from CO to WA, where I would be for a month. Couldn't exactly come back to get it too easily. I called, and one of the staff confirmed they had found my purse, and it looked to be intact. Well, long story short, they sent it to my destination in Seattle, Priority Express Mail, and they wouldn't even let me pay for the costly postage, let alone give a gratuity to the person who so kindly took time to box and send it from the post office. I was just floored by this above-and-beyond service -- not to mention the relief I felt, knowing that all my important financial means were in that purse, for nearly a month's worth of traveling. Thank from the bottom of my heart to this wonderful team. I am so incredibly grateful to this kind and caring staff, and I recommend their food very highly, too! Be sure to stop here in Laramie. We will certainly be back!
